with the amount of staring you’ve been doing, you must as well be losing your vision, the words on the screen blurred and hazy. you’ve scrolled through the ingredient and instruction list an obscene amount of times, and yet… things seem to always turn out like this.

“i’ve got no fucking clue what i’m doing!” you huff, but the silver haired man besides you simply laughs in reply. “mitsuya, why does my cake look like one of y’all rolled it over with your motorbikes?”

“to be honest,” he starts, snickering as he inspects it, “i have no idea. i mean, you followed the recipe and all didn’t you?”

you nod, sadly staring at another failed attempt. he decides to take a piece and taste it, throwing it into his mouth, chewing with an unreadable expression.

“it’s not like it’s inedible, it’s miles better than your first attempt. it’s just a little dry and crumbly…” mitsuya says, brow furrowing, “alright, honestly, it’s pretty bad.”

you sigh loudly, picking it up and throwing it into the trash, “i told you we should’ve gotten him a cake from the store!” all your attempts have been moot. instead of a fluffy and moist cake, it’s always flat and dry even with mitsuya’s help.

kazutora pops his head into the kitchen at that moment, “i can run really fast if you want me to.”

you shake your head, “...no. don’t… do that.” you point to your forehead, signaling him of the decorations stuck on his.

he shrugs, pulling off a stray streamer, and walking in before he’s jumping up to sit on the counter.“how are we gonna have a birthday party with no cake?”

you frown, whining, “man, i don’t know. mitsuya, what do we do?”

he glances over at the clock, mouth pressed in a line, before he answers. “you could always stick a candle into his soba noodles, we've got tons of those.”

“we are doomed.” you state, sighing as you slump against the counter. “sorry kei…”

even though you know, deep down, that keisuke baji could give less than two shits about a cake, you really wanted to surprise him. you did the same for him on white day, all those years back in highschool when you finally confessed. he accepted it, shitty chocolate and all, as you hid your burnt bandaged fingers behind your back. he never mentioned it, but you assume he knew, when instead of kissing your lips, he dragged your hands out from behind you and kissed your them while your heart almost sprang out of your chest.

“who’s doomed?” you hear a loud yet comforting voice coming from the hallway. you look up to see draken, smiling ear to ear as he holds a cake box.

“draken!” the three of you giddily call in unison and he smiles wider.

mikey isn’t far behind him, peeking out to say, “there’s no way you guys thought we were gonna eat a cake they made right? it’s literally y/n, we would’ve died. i think baji almost did when he ate your confession chocolate.”

“i’m going to ignore that for now.♡︎” you chime, keeping the strained smile on your face.

“you guys are so mean to my protégé.” mitsuya chides, giving you a pat on the back. “anyway, we’re running out of time before he gets home, let’s finish this up.”

you all nod and run off to your places, with you cleaning up the kitchen, and yourself, as best you can before you head out to the living room. the decorations are strung up nicely, courtesy of emma and hina, although takemichi, chifuyu, and pah definitely tried their best. you’re a little nervous, heart fluttering, as the lights dim and everyone crouches in place.

you wait a few moments, eyes adjusting to the now darkened room as you catch a wave from chifuyu right before the front door slams open. equally as loud as the slam shut, baji talks to his mom on the phone.

“yeah ma, i just got home. thanks for hangin’ with me today. huh? oh yeah, i’ve got plans with the guys tonight…” he mutters, phone pressed up against one shoulder as he kicks his shoes off. “unfortunately, its just the guys, said they couldn’t get off work early enough..” he trails off, a solemn expression on his face and you bite back the urge to laugh.

“alright, love you ma, talk to you later.” he says as he hangs up, placing his book bag onto the floor. as he hits the lights, you all pop up out of place.

“happy birthday, baji!” you cheer out in unison. it’s an explosion of streamers, confetti, and colors with some of you using party poppers and some of you using the blowers.

he jumps while breaking out in a shit-eating grin, his pearly canine teeth in full view. his eyes scan the room til they fall onto you, the excitement sparked behind them clear as he immediately makes his way over to you.

“no fuckin’ way,” he laughs, throwing his arms around you, before peppering kisses on your cheeks. “should’ve known you were a liar.”

you hug him back, but pull off slightly, when you suddenly feel the heavy eyes of everyone around you. “o-okay keisuke, that’s enough.”

he presses a final kiss to your forehead before turns and glares, “huh? you guys got a problem with this?”

mikey glares back, “yeah. i do.”

baji releases you, walking over to “square up” with mikey. the two of them bickering about the importance of everyone showing up, but also, a significant other is important too, and besides, “i was about to greet everyone, it’s not my fault you can’t find a date.”

“here we go,” draken sighs, before sliding onto the couch. “emma, can you get me something to drink?”

you shrug, settling in next to kazutora who’s excitedly bringing out the games for the night. the rest of the party goes well, the laughter bouncing off the walls of your shared apartment. it’s a nice little life you’ve got with baji so far. while he studies his ass off in school, your work is good enough to support the both of you. it’s cozy, it’s everything you’ve wanted.

as the night winds down and everyone clears out, you find yourself cleaning up. you tell keisuke not to worry about it, “it’s your night, i’ll finish up here.” but he tsks you away, shoving littered plastic forks and plates into a bag anyway. he finds you in the kitchen later on, washing a few trays that were used to set the food out.

he snakes his arms around your waist, breath tickling your ear as he asks, “so where’s my cake?”

“huh?” you giggle, turning off the sink. “what are you talking about? we ate it all earlier?”

“no, not that one.” he grins, his pretty hair falling over your shoulder. “the one mikey told me you made.”

you freeze, that little shit. “uh… honestly, we threw them away. even with mitsu’s help, i couldn’t make you anythin’ good.”

“well, that’s no good.” he hums for a bit, before spinning you around, a devious smile on his face.

“kei?” you ask, but you’re interrupted by his lips on yours.

“guess i gotta settle for somethin’ even sweeter.” he murmurs, before his hands are cupping your cheeks as he kisses you again and again.

“you’re so fucking cheesy.” you giggle in between kisses, hands naturally coming around his waist. “happy birthday, keisuke.♡︎”

Imsgine if tokyo revengers reset timeline, but everyone retains their memories. What would go down?

Well there would be a whole lot more conflict in that final timeline. I think it's clear that Kisaki (and by extension Hanma) vs everyone else would be the biggest conflict here, everyone would be extremely untrusting and wary of him, he could even get beat up by the more impulsive members of the group like Baji, Pah, Kazutora, Izana etc. And this would be a pretty big problem considering that Kisaki feeling isolated and Hina being the only nice one to him is what caused all these problems in the first place so him being potentially isolated again could cause a lot of problems. That being said I do think Takemichi and Mikey would try to talk everyone round into giving him a chance and since everyone trusts them it may work out. (Though Kisaki also having his memories is a whole other potential problem).

As for other character's I think Kazutora would be a lot more uneasy, he'd likely feel very guilty about everything and that may put a strain on some of his friendships. There would also be a whole lot of trauma here, I mean we have character's who literally died and can now remember their deaths, that's probably gonna take it's toll mentally. I also think character's like Koko, Inui and Kakucho would become more clingy with the memories of their friends/ people they loved dying. Draken and Emma would actually probably waste no time in admitting their feelings here after feeling like they wasted it before too.

I also think other character's might suffer from guilt and lot and have it potentially put a strain on their relationships. Such as Hina feeling guilty for Emma's death, Senju feeling guilty for Draken's death and Sanzu's scars, Kakucho feeling guilty of Izana's death etc. I would be generally curious to see Sanzu's reaction here though, if this leads to him regretting Mucho's death and what he would do with that. Theres a lot of characters I haven't mentioned who would also have big reactions but this is getting a bit long. So basically a lot would change with the that knowledge. Although it would've been cool for everyone to have remembered Takemichi's acts it's probably a good thing that they don't remember.

summary: Takemichi convonces Morin to meet [ Y / N ] and Mikey after a Toman meeting. Mikey plans returning to [ Y / N ] after his brief disappearance, only to end up all by himself again. [ Y / N ] gets in trouble with Tenjiku as she pays her hometown a visit all by herself.

“Hanagaki” read on the home’s front gate.

“How hard is it to take out the trash? You literally can just throw it from this window.” Morin scolded before tossing a bulk trash bag onto the piling ones on the alley outside.

“I will take note of that. Thanks.” The boy says before opening the door to his room. “I didn’t really pin you as the clean freak.”

“I’m not, [ Y / N ] is. Oh, Can I use your bathroom? Thanks.” Morin excused herself before locking herself in the comfort room.

“Sorry for calling you out here so suddenly, Chifuyu.” He spoke upon seeing the boy at his door.

“So you got some info?” He asks, letting himself enter.

“Yeah. and there’s a lot!” Takemichi exclaimed, pondering where to start.

“So Tenjiku was made under Izana’s grudge towards his own blood-related brother, Mikey…” Chifuyu spoke upon taking in what Takemichi had told.”Yup.”

“Damn, who would’ve known he’s also involved with Toman’s formation…” Chifuyu scratched the back of his head, surprised by Izana’s involvement dating way back to Shinichiro. It was until the bathroom door opened, he wondered who else was in the household.

“At least your bathroom is clean. I like your hand soap, what’s it called?” Morin blurted upon returning, not realizing Chifuyu’s presence until she looked back up.

“Who’s this?” Chifuyu asked flatly.

Morin gasped upon realizing, “Is this him?” She looks at Hanagaki.

“Woah, do I know you?” Chifuyu asks, surprised.

“Alright, I need you two to listen!” Takemichi blurted.

“Chifuyu, have I mentioned anything to you about [ Y / N ] in the future?”

“Right, [ Y / N ]! How— is she alright? Did she end up with Mikey?” He asks, intrigued.

“Yeah… and, just before I got back here, I found out that they were also expecting a kid together.” He spoke bittersweetly.

“Wait, really?” Chifuyu asks. “Mhm, But then… you know.” Takemichi scowled.

“Right…”

“And it seems that I’m not the only one who can time leap because… she is that kid.” He gestured towards the blonde girl. “Wait…”

“Chifuyu, this is Morin. [ Y /N ] and Mikey-kun’s kid in the future.”

“WHAT?! How is this even possible… I mean, I know they are gonna end up together at some point, but… how is she here? Are you really—? Oh my god, you do look like him!” Chifuyu stammered, his eyes not able to focus on either person.

“This is really weird to me too, trust me.” Morin added.

“Although, [ Y / N ] and Mikey don't know yet. She met Draken-kun and we told him we’re cousins.” Takemichi explained.

“That’s a bad lie. You look nothing alike.” Chifuyu pointed out. “We didn’t really have a choice.” Morin says.

“Also… You don’t have to get involved, Chifuyu.” Takemichi spoke.

“What? The fuck you saying?”

“Naoto died.” He replied.

“What…” Chifuyu’s expressions dropped.

“And I really can't go back to the future anymore. There will be no next time. I don’t know why, but we’ll make up with Tenjiku somehow. And the reasons why Mikey fell under the hands of Izana and Kisaki. I’ll end this whole shitty sibling fight.” Takemichi says.

“I will kill Izana and Kisaki. I’m even prepared to stab them.” He added in all seriousness. “I beg you… please understand, Chifuyu.”

“What about the first division?” He replied. “Please explain this to them.”

“Eh?”

“When you invited me, I called the rest of them too.” Chifuyu spoke before calling in the first division members of Toman who had been waiting outside.

Takemichi glanced at Morin in worry before she insisted on going on with the “cousin” lie.

“So, we doing this?!” Yamagishi exclaimed and shifted the mood of the room, which had lifted Takemichi’s spirit.

“Who’s the girl—” Makoto peeked through Takuya’s shoulder.

“Hey! Stop looking at my cousin like that!” Takemichi scowled once more.

“COUSIN?!” The boys exclaimed, not aware of this particular relative of his.

Shortly, the first division squad decided to initiate a meeting in order to make a sense out of their rival gang.

However, just as they were about to start, Morin heard a car pull over nearby, which was then followed by a loud bang of the door closing. She peeked through the window to see a white-haired guy in a mask, standing still by the car.

She made herself unseen before squinting her eyes, gasping as she immediately recognized those notable blue eyes and white lashes, his distinct scar hiding under a black mask. “Sanzu is here.” She turned to the boys.

“Is the first division captain there?” Sanzu yelled from outside.

“Huh? The hell?! We were just starting!” Takemichi exclaimed.

“Come down.” Sanzu called.

The first division shared a look before collectively agreeing to head down and into the driveway. Morin decided to follow suit, but was stopped immediately.

“I think you should stay here. I have a bad feeling.” Chifuyu held his arm out to stop her from walking. With no time to question, Morin agreed and remained in the house, but keeping an eye on them through staying behind the curtain on the windows.

She couldn’t make out what the guys outside were saying, but it was obvious that there was heat among the two groups. As members of their division began to round Chifuyu and the other five, a man larger than Sanzu exited from the vehicle shortly after.

No words were exchanged, but a punch was thrown to Takemichi while the others were held back.

“Oh, shit!” Morin exclaimed as he was tossed across the street as his friends helplessly watched in pain. She had never seen a petty gang brawl before. She had certainly heard about it from her mother on several occasions, but she might have misjudged how serious they really were.

Sanzu’s eyes trailed to the side where he heard a voice— which was faint but near.

Morin was quick to notice this, and she immediately withdrew from sight.

“Take him in the car.” She heard Sanzu demand before hearing their footsteps weaver. “No, no.” She whispered, assuming that the only person she can trust is being taken away.

Upon hearing the car leave, she leaves the house only to see Chifuyu and the Mizo mid being held back by the fifth division members. “Motherfucker…” She ran up to Chifuyu first, landing a kick on the guy that held him back.

“You even kick almost as perfect as him.” Chifuyu pointed out before relaxing his arms, heading to the five along with Morin.

“You believe me now?” She chuckled. Alongside Chifuyu, they fought off the fifth division members who towered over Takemichi’s friends.

“Damn it, they took him.” Morin cursed as she caught her breath. “Black Mitsubishi, right?” She asks, running to the motorcycle she stole not long ago.

“Are you crazy? You’ll tail them?!” Chifuyu exclaimed.

“Yeah. See you.” She nodded before sending him a wave, revving the engine a few times before heading off.

While following Sanzu's car felt like it took an hour, it was stressful to camp outside the sketchy building they stopped at.

Just as Morin had built up the courage to storm in, she sees two figures stumble and flee off the place through its backdoor. “Michi?” She tilted her head as she observed the two, not able to recognize the other guy that he was with.

“Damn it.” She jumps on the motorcycle's back and takes off quickly so as not to startle the captains of the fifth division within the structure.

Inupi and Takemichi eventually collapsed in an abandoned building covered in graffiti and beat-up bicycles. It was far enough away from the building and not overrun with people.

“Mikey?” Head dizzy and vision obstructed from fatigue, Inupi spoke out upon seeing a person approach them in their motorcycle. He could recognize those long blonde locks from afar.

“What the fuck happened here?” Pulling over in front of the two, Morin switches off the engine of the motorcycle.

“Inupi, this is Morin-chan.” Takemichi says.

“Oh.”

“There is a traitor in Toman.” He turns to the girl. “It’s Mucho-kun. He also took Koko in exchange to let us go.” He explained. “So, he’s with Tenjiku now.”

“I’ll fight with Toman too.” Inupi added.

“We’re going to let Mikey-kun know about what happened.” Takemichi spoke.

“I’ll get my ride.” Inupi struggled to stand up, dusting off his clothes.

“You should come. I think it’s time for you to meet him and [ Y / N ].” Takemichi insisted.

“What, like, right now?” She exclaimed.

“Yes, it’s about time.” He persuaded.

“So, are you in or out?”

EARLIER THAT DAY…

[ Y / N ]'s garage doors were open as she repaired an engine part in a workbench.

There was no question that onlookers could hear her annoyance and the tools clattering against the wooden table.

“Why the fuck won’t you budge?!” She exclaimed, turning the bolt driver clockwise.

“Wrong direction.” Upon hearing that voice, she calmed down a little, relaxing her hands that were tense. Mikey had snuck from behind before holding the driver that was still in her hand, guiding her with the right way to lock the bolt.

[ Y / N ] froze like an antelope in headlights, not expecting to see the boy so soon after his sudden disappearance just the day before. She's lately just picked up on this habit of his- isolating himself after something had upset or angered him.

She was concerned at first, as no one deserves to have to go through difficulties on their own. But she came to see that this is effective for him, considering how he always returned with a lighter mood.

“Thanks.” She turns to smile at Mikey.

“You’re welcome.” He nodded.

“You’re back…” She mentioned calmly, wiping off the grease from her hands before embracing the guy. When her arms wrapped around his body, Mikey let out an audible yelp, his lips curving into a sweet smile he wished she could see.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” She asks, her thumb carefully stroking his shoulder blade in an instinct.

His eyes shut in comfort, returning the embrace with one arm before politely saying, “Not now.”

“That’s fine. I don’t need to know if you don’t want to.” [ Y / N ] withdrew from his arms before looking up at him with a reassuring smile,

“But you can never stop me from trying to comfort you. Fact of life— you’re just gonna have to deal with it.” He couldn't form coherent thoughts upon hearing her reassuring words. Just when he thought he couldn't adore this girl any more, it's as if she intuitively knows precisely what he needs to hear without even letting on. It amuses him, truly.

“Now, d’you need help with your project?” She asks, noticing the box of motorcycle parts tied to his motorcycle.

“Yeah. I found these from Shin’s stuff.” He muttered.

“You're building a motorcycle?! That's fucking sick. How can I help?” She exclaimed, jogging to the box and inspecting its contents. “Let's start with preparing the parts.” Mikey joins her shortly.

[ Y / N ] helps him get the parts on the workbench, and she also gets a glance of the time on the clock. It was twelve high noon, remembering she had important matters to attend to. “Although, I need to go somewhere first. I’ll be back very quickly.” She says.

“Oh, well, I’ll be here.” Mikey assured, watching [ Y / N ] get in the car safely. “You can call Kenchin if you want, I have a phone there.” She says before waving him goodbye and then speeding off to the road.

ISEZAKICHO, YOKOHAMA

This place is famous for being a shopping district in Yokohama, and it is also home to one of the best diners in town.

They provide delicious food and pastries that are worth the trip. Despite having grown up in this city, [Y / N ] misses not having learned about this location when she was still a local in the area.

She essentially established herself as a monthly regular and made friends with one of the waitresses. “Thanks for the coffee, Miss Marie!” Sat on the counter, [ Y / N ] bows at the kind server.

Marie nods, “No worries, kid. You seem stressed out. School? Or perhaps, your gang stuff?” The woman asks, wondering what may have been bugging a kid like [ Y / N ].

“No, I’m working on a customer’s car engine. I can’t figure out how to fix it.” She replied, taking a sip from the cup.

“Just tell them you can’t do it. That happens.” She advised. “Ugh. Maybe.” “Cinnamon peach muffin with extra blueberry.” She serves the plate over to [ Y /N ], evidently lifting her spirits up. “You remember!”

“Of course. It’s a weird order.” Marie pointed out.

“Hey, how’s that boy you told me about? Mikey, is it?” She asks.

“He’s… fine. As I hope. I’m seeing him after this.” [ Y / N ] replied.

“That’s great! You get along pretty good, huh? You sound great together.”

“Well, I feel the exact way.” She smiled, taking a big bite off of the muffin.

“By the way, great news! So, ap— Shit. My manager’s here.” Marie cursed upon seeing the older man enter the doors, cleaning [ Y / N ]’s crumbs off of the counter.

“Aren’t you gonna get in trouble for giving me free stuff?” [ Y / N ] asks, rushing to finish the cup of coffee.

“I will. So go leave through the back door.” The lady opened the counter doors, “Thanks for the snacks, Marie-sama!” [ Y / N ] waved with a half-eaten muffin in hand as she rushed down the kitchen and into the diner’s back door.

“Close the door, brat!” Marie scolded.

“ File: [ Y / N ] [ L / N ] “ [ Y / N ] stared at the brown envelope in dismay as she walked towards her parked car. “Damnit.” She cursed, tossing it to the backseat.

However, upon closing the doors, her back bumped against a tall figure, instantly recognizing the man by his long, braided hair. “The hell?”[ Y / N ] exclaimed, turning the other way, which was immediately blocked by Rindou.

“Now, this brings back memories.” Ran chuckled, recalling the “bloody halloween” event where they’d held [ Y / N ] back when she attempted to help Toman fight against Valhalla.

“The boss requests your presence.” He simply spoke, immediately sending [ Y / N ] into deep thought and worry.

Maybe, it wasn’t such a good idea to visit home…

I really don’t want to believe Takemichi is dead but if he actually is I can’t help but thinking about how this is going to impact on so many characters

Hinata has always been Takemichi’s rock, the reason why he tried so much in the beginning, the reason of this story, before we learnt everything started with Mikey (or better, Shin trying to save Mikey). There’s a reason why the parallelism between TakeHina and TakeMai are so strong (and I swear, I’m trying to analyze the thing without shipping goggles, even if i love both TakeMai and TakeHIna and I ship Maitakehina as well as OT3 lol). This girl deserves her happy ending

Manjiro: I don’t even know where to start

Mikey knew Takemichi and his friends in the other timelines died because of him (more or less directly) so he tried his best to avoid them. Mikey has always been ready to put the others in front of himself, but the curse literally never gave him peace. If Takemichi managed to free Mikey (curse born out of Shin’s love ended by Takemichi’s love?) and Mikey is now free, I have no idea how he could live with himself. Toman second gen was born specifically to save him. He already regrets his life, knowing his brother Shin literally was eaten alive by his guilt, tried everything he could to save Mikey and passed on this curse as a result. He already lost so many people in the meanwhile. He’s at his limit

Chifuyu, Takemichi’s literal partner in crime. Baji died in his arms almost 3 years before (in universe), he immediately believed Michi when he talked to him about the time travel and always had his back. He was upset by Draken’s death (rightfully I’d say), said something he regretted and then realized Michi’s reasons. He’s a great partner and friends, I really can’t imagine his pain

Mitsuya, as well, lost Draken recently and, out of the kids, he’s probably the one that suffered more about that, he was his twin dragon after all (those chapters made me ship DoraMitsu, but that’s beside the point). The point is Takemichi was originally in Mitsuya’s division before becoming the captain of the first one, they became friends in time, the whole Black Dragon arc and, that’s not fair

Hakkai, probably more than Mitsuya, became a close friend, he was the one Takemichi helped the most during the BD arc, really showed him that’s it’s okay not to feel okay, that loneliness is really the worst and that you can always improve. Takemichi really showed who he really was and this clearly give everyone strengths. Even Taiju and Yuzuha (she even had a crush on him)

Inupi: dear God, I can’t stand the idea he is losing someone else. First Akane, Shin, Draken so recently and now Takemichi? The boy he recognized Shin’s values in? That gave him hope again? It was thanks to Takemichi that Inupi gave up a life of gang violence searching for a honest one. Koko was right when he said Inupi “you choose a good person”. He did. Takemichi really gave him hope. Seishu just got Koko back and the price to pay is loosing Takemichi?? That’s so unfair.

Koko didn’t have time to develop his relationship with Michi so much, but it’s clear he respects him for trying to save him and Inupi in Tenjiku and he’s glad Inupi followed him and gave him the opportunity to improve his life. And he probably just doesn’t want Inupi to suffer more then he already had.

Senju just found a friend her age, she still feels guilty over Haru and again, not fair

Hell, Haru as well seems shocked by that, and he was ready to kill Takemichi just a few chapters ago! For the first time, Haru sees someone willing to try everything for Mikey, even if Michi knows the curse is the cause of everyone else’s death. He probably allows himself to be hopeful for just a moment

The other Toman kids had suffered enough, Mizo Middle 5 are his first friends, that’s not okay

I don’t know why I wrote all this, I hope Takemichi is still alive, but I’m sad

What happened in Manilla!Timeline?

I wonder what happened in the Manilla Timeline. I mean we see what happened before the Bonten Timeline: Mucho kidnaps Takemichi, Inupi and Koko. Koko is forced to join Tenjiku. Emma is killed. Mikey is unable to lead Toman to fight Tenjiku and Takemichi takes over for fight Izana. Koko and Inupi have a big fight about money and about Akane. Izana and Mikey fight. Izana dies. Koko decides to go away from Inupi even if he’s not happy with this decision.

In Manilla Future, Inupi has no reaction when he sees Takemichi. While Koko is literally mocking their two former captains. In Kanto!Arc, Koko respected Takemichi and cared enough to help him, risking his own safety for that. But in this future? No. It means that Past!Takemichi didn't won his respect like our Takemichi did (by protecting him, by saying Mucho "no you'll not have Koko, I’ll not let you take him" even if it was useless since Mucho was stronger here.) And Past Takemichi didn't won Inupi's affection and loyalty neither.

We can say that they didn’t see each other for years, and that this life of criminal has rotten his heart (except for Koko) but again only Draken and Mitsuya asked Mikey to let Takemichi go, Inupi was no here to ask it too and if he cared for him, he would have. I know that, in the manga, we didn’t know at this point that Inupi was going to become a important friend for Takemichi but still. Takemichi only won his loyalty after be returned in the past. Inupi respected him before, but they barely knew each other.

So for the Mucho Incident.

1) Maybe Mucho didn't manage to capture Takemichi and has only beaten Inupi in front of Koko. 2) If he still capture him, Past!Takemichi has probably not stand up for Koko who was still a stranger for him. But I think that he would have done it. After all he fought for Yamagishi when he knew him since few hours only (Chibi Revengers Episode). So It's possible that the conversation between Inupi and Takemichi in the old shop never happened in Manilla Timeline.

Or Past!Takemichi HAS defended Koko, HAS had this conversation with Inupi BUT Past!Takemichi didn't save Koko and Inupi was the one to become a criminal to stay with him.

Maybe they resented Takemichi for that? Especially that Takemichi was free to go away (Mikey let him go, thank to Draken and Mitsuya) but Koko would never have been free and so Inupi neither.

But Past!Takemichi has often ran away. In one of the few Bad!Toman futures, he stayed in Toman and become rotten like everyone else (minus Chifuyu I guess). But in Manilla Future he ran away and Mikey let him.

So who know what happened?!

The fight again Tenjiku now.

I think that it has not happened in the Manilla Timeline. Because it's Our!Takemichi who decided to take the role of leader because Mikey was unable to do it, and that Draken was also unable to do it.

Past!Takemichi was probably close of Mikey. BUT he had probably not the strength to lead Toman. I don’t say that he was weak but I don’t think that he was enough brave to lead a whole gang in a fight who could be already lost.

Taiju said that Toman and Tenjiku merged, and he didn't say who won this fight or any others informations about it.

Maybe that some members of Toman still decided to face Tenjiku to call out Izana for have killed Emma. That's possible. or it’s Tenjiku who decided to go to the shrine where was Toman when they have seen that Toman didn't come.

It's possible then that Koko and Inupi didn't have "this" fight. Maybe that in this timeline, Inupi accepted Koko's proposition to join him in Tenjiku, even more if Past!Takemichi didn't won his loyalty. Koko would be everything he had then and so he would maybe not be loyal to Toman.

every now and then I see people discussing how cool it would be to have certain tr spinoffs, such as a bonten spinoff or a haitani brother spinoff or a gen 1 bd spinoff (to which I would love to see all 3) and I have to ask if there were to be another tr spinoff, what would you want it to be about? I personally want a peke j spinoff, like he has a secret life when he's not with chifuyu or baji. Imagine he secretly has a gang of his own with other cats and he goes around fighting other cat gangs. Like toman. But with cats. They even have little kitty sized gang uniforms. Imagine it has the typical drama found throughout tr but its all peke j and other cats.

I honestly agree with every single answer above, all of those sound awesome and Peke J would be so interesting to follow! I feel like we could have a story on Peke J trying to get revenge for his scar, like track down the cat that did it lmao.

As for me I'd be so interested in a spinoff about the 2 year gap before Takemichi leaped back into the three deities arc.

Ok so I think this would be interesting if we got to switch perspectives too so we spend different chapters with different gangs that way we could see the rise of the kantou manji gang, brahman and rokuhara tandai. It would also be a really good way to give the character's we see the final arc some much needed character development and exploration. Especially South since he literally turned up, got one chapter on a bit of backstory and then died. But I feel like this would be a good way to showcase those character's and to show how the dynamics in these 3 gangs were.

We could see them fight and how they got to the top, what they did when they weren't fighting, how Draken joined brahman exactly, how Koko ended up with Sanzu and Mikey exactly and we could see more of the S62 and what they were up to. I also think it would interesting for a few chapters to check in on how the toman guys are doing and it could even give us a chance to see past Takemichi and how he interacts with anyone, if it's any different to future Takemichi.

i think that's unlikely regarding the angel theory because it wouldn't explain why no one want to talk about the senobium but anything can happen in a game lol. damn, the demo was a good strategy for them. that's true, even the studio was shocked how the game was completely funded in 4 hours.

i agreed, mhin doesn't seem to enjoy violence so they would likely only use it as a last resort. those type of yandere like leander are the most deadliest and when they snap, they are terrifying as hell. but leander would only likely have a breakdown ep if the reader try to break up with him etc because leander know what's he doing lol.

from what i remember, it's because draken always ended up in a situation where he couldn't be as involved (jail) or he wasn't a delinquent anymore (bonten timeline). i think wakui did that to push the takemichi + mikey relationship to further the whole "takemichi would never give up on mikey" thing. i've been reading the spin-off and the power level of baji is so funny to me, like yall really had to get him to kill himself cus no one else could jknsdkanfsknfsdk.
