I'm super proud of this one. I decided I needed to have a single project for next year to work on. Just a single theme involving different people. I decided it would be called "Materials" and would involve portraits that incorporate and mixed with things like fabric, water, paper, metals, etc. This is the first one I made and features Gina Kaos Kennedy. I made the fabric materials shot separately and shot Gina second. I had her not wear any makeup so I could add it in later. That way, I would have complete control of the makeup, the color of it, where it was applied, and how it balanced with the fabric. The eyeshadow, eye lashes, eyebrows, lipstick, was all applied in post. I'm excited about getting a bunch of stuff like this and making a book on it all for the end of 2023.
