Shh babygirl, I know it's not actually 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar. It's actually 763, but canonically, it's 7,000. Shh, I know love. It's ok. It's Skyrim Darling, followers can get trapped in walls, people can swim in mid air and you can break doors with dinner plates. Let it go. It will all be alright.

Whenever an NPC sends me on a long, arduous quest to retrieve their sword because it means something to them and then gives it to me at the end of the quest as a symbol of our friendship, I don't care if that sword is the worst sword in the game, I'm keeping it. It has sentimental value now.

Never let anyone make you feel bad for looking up walkthroughs, playing on a lower level difficulty setting, or "scum saving". You play how you want to play, you're still a gamer and you're still valid.
