Childhood friends AU ft Fundy, 5up, and Hbomb - Part 1

For Funtober Day 7: Childhood

- They are all next door neighbors. They have been best friends ever since they are little babies. 

- 5up and Fundy are in the same kindergarten class, and Hbomb is in one year above them. When H graduates from kindergarten, Fundy gives him a cool rock he finds in his garden, and 5up gives him a drawing of H in his lil graduation outfit. H still has them as an adult. 

- When H goes to first grade, Fundy cries and clings to him for almost an hour straight before class because Fundy can’t see him at kindergarten anymore. Dadbur has to promise him that he can have a playdate with H after school so he’ll let go of H. 5up and H also want to cry, but H is busy consoling Fundy and 5up is trying to preserve some dignity. 

- Even as a kid, H holds the collective braincell and is usually the one to get Fundy and 5up out of troubles. 

- Speaking of troubles, 5up might seem like a cool and collected child, but he’s the most mischievous of the three. He also somehow has a knack for running head first into risky situation, like climbing up a tree and cannot get down. Yep, it happens. H has to get him down (or technically go get an adult to get him down). 

- 5up makes them flower crowns. The crowns all have snowdrops (for 5up), orange poppy (for Fundy), and corn flowers (for Hbomb), but each of them have more of their respective flower. 

- H makes them all friendship bracelets with his good friend Niki’s help. There was one time Fundy thinks he lost the bracelet and gets super sad and teary, but then H finds it and Fundy never takes it off ever. They all still have the bracelets, even when they grows up and the bracelets don’t fit them anymore. Fundy keeps it as a keychain, H keeps his in his wallet, and 5up has a little box in the drawer of his bedside table. 

- Fundy builds a whole Lego fort for the three of them in his backyard. It can fit them all inside comfortable, and it takes fundy a whole day to build. Wilbur helps him a bit, especially with the roof and such because Fundy is tiny - even for his age.

I remember the first stream so vividly because of how fun and upbeat Fundy sounded, and this scene with the satyrs felt so magical that I'd known for AGES I wanted to draw it!

Funtober Day 6 - Ghostdy AU

POV. You're Quackity and this is the second time you come up to someone you worked with during the Manburg era to talk to them about your new country and they're a ghost. Except this guy was supposed to be alive???

On a serious note, this prompt for @fundyfiles' Funtober really made me think, so some context/explanations under the cut!

Okay so, first of all. They match now!! Isn't that great? I'm sure Yogurt was happy when he saw that!

So, in this AU, Fundy dies after blowing up his tower and moving to the little cottage in the forest. There are many ways he could've died, but he doesn't remember how it happened. Who knows, maybe he died in his sleep? Maybe he stayed up for so long his exhaustion got the better of him and he died to a simple zombie outside, or even lost his balance and drowned in the pond by his house? Or maybe his lack of sleep was so severe that somehow something broke and a small group of phantoms appeared and took his life?

Just like Ghostbur's memory was lacking, missing all the sad memories, Ghostdy too doesn't remember everything. Rather than forgetting the sad things, though, he forgets basically all of the times he was overstressed and alike. He can recall his childhood pretty clearly, but after that, most of his memories are a blur, and the most recent events are basically blank in his mind.

Luckily, he barely ever felt stressed when Yogurt was involved (save for the time his little boy got lost in the forest for a while, but it's not like he'd remember that), so he remembers almost every second he spent with his son, and he's not going to let his ghost-ness get in the way of being a great dad! And since taking care of Yogurt is the only thing he recalls doing anytime recently, he does just that all the time.

He leaves a lot of Orange around, and he always gladly offers it to others if they're around. He tells them to throw it away soon, and once they do that, they suddenly feel relieved from all the stress that's been weighing over them for who-knows-how-long. It's always nice to receive some Orange as a gift!

Luckily for himself, Ghostdy doesn't need sleep and hardly ever gets tired. If he does, all it takes for him to recover is sitting somewhere nice and relaxing for a bit, no need for a bad to use! He did consider falling asleep a couple of times, but each time he got close to that, he was overcome with an uneasy feeling, and suddenly, there was much more Orange in his hands than usual. He didn't try sleeping after that happened.

Yogurt probably knows the most out of anyone. He has Fundy's hat, after all, and he had to get it somewhere... he doesn't even try to tell Ghostdy what happened, though. He probably doesn't want to remember it either, so there's no reason to bring it up, ever.

On a much happier note, with Ghostdy clearly recalling his childhood, he's possibly even better at taking care of a kid himself! He remembers all the funniest games and coolest things to do! Yogurt is living his best life in that little cottage for sure :]

Also about the drawing itself!! I'm super happy that I got to use my current favorite brush for line art for once! I usually use the pen one because it's ~smooth~ but I absolutely love one called Fluffly Pastel! I usually use it for backgrounds and such but I figured, it would look fine for Ghostdy too, so I went for it!! And speaking of backgrounds, I'm very happy with this one, too! :D

Funtober Plans

It’s day 1 but uh I have no wips to finish (because I refuse), so I will just talk about my plans for the month since the theme is Into the Fundyverse and I already planned this out before so.

Anyway, what I plan to do is just sorta switch the Fundys from various aus? Like an AU swap sorta thing? Say, Origins Fundy ends up in the DSMP. Like that.

So yeah, the list below is randomized. I did not plan which AU Fundy goes where. This is completely random.

But the way this is ordered is like... the setting is the world that is technically for that day. So for the second day, the setting takes place in the Dream SMP since that is the second day prompt. This may be confusing but I wanted to put different Fundys into different worlds.

Also some of these don’t make sense like “Home!Fundy” that just means that that Fundy is from the Home prompt (which is on the 14th day).

“Shut the f-fudge up, you sh-sucker,” Wilbur hissed, trying not to swear in front of the five year old — he wasn’t sure the god was actually five years old or not, but he sure looked and acted like one — that was currently clinging to his shirt and not letting go.

“I know swear words, no need for- for shen-sor-ship!” the child — Wilbur could not think of him as a god, not in a form like this — exclaimed, and Techno laughed.

Once again a simple sketch for Funtober Day 13, which was Hermit Fundy! I was gonna actually write for this one, and I did have a pretty neat idea, but alas events in the day left me feeling rather unmotivated to spend hours on writing :( Tomorrow I should be back with another oneshot, though! Keep reading if you wanna find out what on earth I think could happen in a Hermit AU (from someone that has, admittedly, seen very little of Hermitcraft)

So basically there's either the age-old classic comfort and fluff idea of a young Fundy being sent to Hermit land, or there's Bawka Really Likes Fundy Angst.

For that second option, we have a Fundy who's alone and sees other worlds in his dreams one day finding the Hermit world and getting noticed by a group of the Hermits (who in this universe are essentially the highest gods). Said Hermits track him down and use godly powers to take him in as their own or something (Honestly I had a bit of a different idea but these is cool too so we're going with them lol)
