we had to submit our art gcse final piece a while ago, and it had me pondering, do i regret taking art gcse?

in a way, yes. the countless hours of slaving over my work trying to get it perfect down to the last details, the non-stop comparing with other students’ works, the gradual hatred for art in general... was it worth it??

not sure. but i will always remember what a fellow art gcse student has told me:

“i just wanna learn how to draw so i can draw fanart.”
