Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!!

I made these a few weeks ago before I went full throttle with the big Gelfling oc project. Just some happy couples in winter sweaters lol

The first is the sweet Adora x Takoda ship! Aaahhh they’re too precious. I can’t wait to draw more of them because there’s a bunch to explore.

The second is Tau and Enyo who I believe are more flirting with each other. They’re interested in one another but neither has made a move to deepen the bond to a romantic one. Tau was originally going to have a beefy Dousan boyfriend because my sister demanded it lol Buut I feel like Tau is interested more in pretty softer featured Gelfling.

Enyo is on her road to becoming a better Gelfling. Some time after Fleur leaves Stone-in-the-wood is when Enyo explores Thra and begins rethinking certain beliefs her parents taught her. Fleur 100% calls Enyo out when she sees Enyo dating someone who isn’t Stonewood. Enyo’s growth is another story to be told.

We might see more Tau x Enyo because I think they look cute lol

Lastly, we have the Stonesan parents Maeve x Bhihaar! I love them and they are that married couple who is just so happy to be married and unafraid of PDA. I believe the PDA took some time for Bhihaar to get use to but he enjoys holding Maeve’s hands and pecking her cheek in public. Maeve on the other hand is unashamed- she loves her man and boy does she have a good man 😆

I have another set but I just haven’t finished it yet, so be prepared to see that in time

I live! Just very busy with a lot of things.

In between a commission, I pieced together this reels for IG. These things usually look neater due to video editing apps buuuut I don't have one of those yet (and don't know how to use them 🥲) hence the shaky video and sound.

There were a few ocs that I heard the voices and knew just who I would put for them. Others I had to choose what sounded close in my head.

I love how no one really likes Tore and he ended up getting the longest part lol

All of these are sketches from many months- about a year ago. If some look nicer than others that's most likely why.

Cha'l gets the lost one because he CANNOT sing to save his life. Only his wife, Shiyoon, can listen to him without covering her ears. It's also funny that the only gelf who can't sing, he also gets a long part.

In the future I want to redo this with better drawings and probably different ocs.

I know myself and I will write a paragraph explaining why I chose who for each part, but I'll save everyone the lecture 😅

More IG questions! (Still need to answer/revise my old tumblr asks lol and get ready!)

The first shows Enyo looking very distraught. I like getting questions about the Garthim Wars and how my Ocs reacted to learning the truth. It’s interesting to think about how different Ocs react to the same event, because there are so many possibilities. When I eventually get to draw/sketch Garthim Wars stuff it will be pretty heavy.

The second and third are wholesome sketches of baby and childling Fleur; featuring a toddler Cha’l! Fleur is Maeve and Bhihaar’s princess but she has also given them plenty of mini heart attacks before her wings sprouted.

Seeing the last two sketches reminds me that I never shared what Kiel’s parents might look like this never sketching a childling Kiel *gasp* and childling Azra! Soon lol

Last one for tonight!

The Castle Guard in the first one isn’t suppose to be Tore but he looks like him from behind lol

Enyo is a fan of warriors and warriors with strong physiques. She and Fleur are cordial but not friends, frienemies but not friends. I feel like a lot of Enyo’s interactions with Fleur are either rival-ish, ignorant or cordial. Maybe Fleur had no drinking buddies that particular night andEnyo happened to be there. Along with a Castle Guard.

I’d add more about that one but we’d be here all day.

The second is a School AU which is fun to imagine! Perhaps one day we’ll see what most of my Ocs would’ve looked like in a modern high school or college setting! Elkie and Azra we’re the most fun to draw. Especially Elkie. I had to draw that artists beret

Azra is using chemistry class to learn to make smoke bombs or concoctions that will help her better in mixing potions for spells. Omg Azra in goth clothes is something I want to draw! Definitely when I end up drawing the school au lineup.

Finally the last one is Elkie and her sister Adette! They are both precious andi must draw more of the two of them together. Since their hair is the perfect shade for dying the Grottan sisters have fun dying each other’s hair. This becomes handy later on so someone doesn’t get the two of them mistaken.

Adette visits topside later and that is when she and Elkie strengthen their sisterhood. Their parents really made a wedge that prevented the two from wanting to be close.

But yeah, after Elkie learns of hair dyes, she goes to the taverns and merchant shops with a new color every few unum (if she chooses)

Enyo and a few assumptions some of my IG (and tumblr) followers made about this character. There’s more I haven’t sketched out yet. And don’t worry, the suggestion sketches some of you made are going to get done! I wanted to get a feel for Enyo’s character and story for a bit.

As we can see, Enyo is a proud Stonewood Gelfling and combat is in her blood. And she’s always willing to do something pretty dumb if it means proving her strength and endurance.

This little bit of info wasn’t mentioned in her previous or will be for the other replies I got on IG but, Enyo has a crooked/lopsided wing thanks to a certain Stonesan we know and love. Because of this, Enyo will do things that take attention away from her busted wing.

She and Fleur were friends in their youth but that friendship ended when Fleur bested her in something. Ever since that day the two were at odds, and it continues to present day.

Remember when I said the next (this) post would be the finale? Well, the next part will be the last part lol

Right now I have a commission I need to work on and since my job exhausts me during the week I want to put all the energy I have after work in my commission piece. Because of that I wanted to post these pages up so we can all see that moment we were all waiting for (I’m kinda dissatisfied with the slap, partially because I totally didn’t space everything out nicely). I also did these sketch comics as sets of three and didn’t want to break it lol

The flower in the third panel of the first page is suppose to be a Red Dahlia (or a Thra equivalent) because Red Dahlias symbolize betrayal and dishonesty.

It took me FOREVER to come up with the dialogue for these pages and the last three on the way sometime soon. Don’t get me started on writing, that’s partially why this comic is being stretched and extra 3 pages. I can’t help it!

We also get a bit into Fleur’s feelings on dealing with the bullying she and Cha’l endured. We’ll see the last bit of Fleur’s dialogue in a future comic because what she says here is something very important to her and we gotta see the contrast in the other scenario.

Hey, so, I've had this question about Fleur's ex Tore for a while. Does he have any remorse for how he treated Fleur? In your comic, you showed that they met when they were children, and Tore was the only Gelfling in Stone-in-the-Wood to show her any compassion/kindness. Since he was just a kid at the time, was he acting out of genuine kindness, or was it just to get her attention to use her even then? I feel like since he was just a childling he didn't have sleazy intentions like his older self.

I guess to sum it up I was wondering if there was a time he actually cared about her, and his ego just got in the way as they got older. And does he regret hurting her?

@stonewoodsifa this is a great question about Tore! And the day I saw this just so happened to be the day Tore got more tea to his story lol

You're definitely right on Tore being genuinely kind to Fleur when they first met. His intentions at the time were 100% honest and genuine. Tore had a kind heart as a child and wanted to make everyone he noticed being alone or sad to feel better. He became friendly with Fleur sometime after her first friend, Enyo, gave in to peer pressure and jealousy (the jealousy is from Fleur out-doing her in an activity she prided herself in).

The two of them had a nice friendship despite there being a one-sided crush. However, joining the castle guard and seeing Gelfling outside of Stone-in-the-wood, their positive reactions to him brought out a side of Tore that was growing since his adolescence.

Tore was always considered a "pretty boy" back home so the attention from the lassywings who were excited to talk with a Castle Guard amplified his ego. Instead of seeing the lassywings he mingled with as gelfling, they became objects and accessories to fill his ego/desire. Unfortunately, Fleur became an accessory he could flaunt to his fellow guard and a conquest to win (but ultimately lose)

I wanna say that it takes Tore quite a long while to fully realize how hurtful he was to Fleur. He gets jealous when he finds out Fleur is in a happily committed relationship with Razer (there's something he says to Fleur I have yet to draw for the finale that get proven wrong in that moment)

Either Tore catches wind of Fleur getting married or he can see just how in love/inseparable OceanPetals are and apologizes to her. He knows they could never really be friends but he knows that they both need positive closure/Fleur hearing the words "I'm sorry."

Or my personal favorite angsty possibility, Tore meets someone who opens his eyes (someone who has zero tolerance for foolishness but is warm/playful). Before he can really apologize or adequately process his previous actions, he and his fellow Castle Guard take their stand against the Skeksis. (Right when he starts his redemption arc!)

I hope this answered your question! I might have given a bit more information, I love writing and discovering the little details/behaviors of characters.
