lorenzeg1d0: “The Warblers are like rockstars!” —- Part of the appeal of Glee when I was younger was that Disney did not own it and I was exhausted of my peers derogatorily calling me the Disney kid… and now the show is on Disney+. But on the flip side that means it was acceptable to wear the Warbler outfit to D23 Day 2! And much to my surprise, THE Warbler himself, Darren Criss, did a Disney singalong at the Disney+ stage!

Oldie but a goodie! I know the tie is incorrect, I hadn’t gotten my better one yet. This has always been one of my favorite cosplays I’ve ever made. It doesn’t fit anymore, but I refuse to get rid of it because I put so much work into it. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I bought the blazer from the thrift store. My mom taught me how to do the piping, and I hand embroidered the crest onto the pocket. It was the first thing I’d ever embroidered by hand. I cosplayed Blaine, Kurt, and Jeff in this blazer. Basically, whatever warbler fit my hair at the time. But I do love me some Klaine and agents 6 and 3. 🌟 🌟 🌟 Say what you want, but Glee meant, and still means, a lot to me. I identified with being an outcast, and a music kid. One year choir didn’t technically fit into my schedule, but it fit into my free period for half the year. So I told my guidance counselor, “I don’t care about credits. I just wanna sing.” Glee helped me let my freak flag fly. I stopped caring about what others thought of me, was more myself, and was happier for it. I might not have lived through high school if it weren’t for this show. I’ve made some great friends through it, too.
