I believe faithfully that he does, and that he works in our requests right away! He makes his angels work on our favor here on earth and in heaven!... The help or request that you have asked for may be missed when passing right in front of your 👀 eyes. Just as in the Bible, God sent help in different forms... but it wasn’t taken!... let’s pay attention to our everyday surroundings... there is so much that we can do for each other as God’s helpers! This is powerful, moved me to tears! Prayer is so much MORE than I think most of us comprehend. This really spoke to me and I wanted to share what was brought to my heart... I find myself not praying or speaking with God as often as I should, and most of the time it's because I feel guilty about something I said, or did (or didn't do), or even thought. I know what pleases God and what does not, yet I find myself caught in the middle more times than I care to admit. But I'm flawed, I'm human. Still, that's no excuse. Then I think to myself, despite what I'm feeling I know how much God loves me and wants to hear from me so I really should talk to Him more, and pray when I feel the Spirit urging me to do so...

I've learned that one of the effects of sin in our lives is to keep us from feeling like praying. But perfect moral behavior is not a condition for prayer. We cannot allow guilty feelings over sin to keep us from our only means of restoration.

No matter how long you have been away from God, He is ready to hear from you and restore you to a right relationship. Every situation can be salvaged if you are willing to turn to Him again. Remember that next time you feel guilty and it turns you away from speaking to the God who washed you clean. I know I will.
