W.I.N.

“Walking In Next”

The first word that comes to my mind this very moment while writing this Blog Moment is the word “Pressure”.  As you may or may not know I am big on definitions, so I decided to look up the word pressure and the definition states continuous physical force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it. Immediately what came to mind after reading this definition was the pressure cooker process.

Here is the pressure cooker step-by-step process and how I equated it to W.I.N. (Walking In Next):

Step 1: Place the content to be cooked inside the pressure cooker (Acknowledging and understanding your next).

Step 2: Take the weighted pressure regulator off and close the lid (Knowing that what you are about to experience will not be comfortable, but necessary for your next).

Step 3: Wait for the pressure cooker to gain pressure (Staying in God’s word to keep you from not throwing in the towel as you are waiting in your next).

Step 4: Reduce the heat to a lower level so that the pressure cooker continues to simmer and does not whistle (God is getting ready to propel you forward, so be ready with a posture of walking in next).

Step 5: Release pressure (Allowing what God has poured into you to be released through Your Obedience +Your Faith= God’s Promise

Just understand that this process or journey is not easy, but if you are willing to step into it God will walk you through it.

So, from this day forward, I am Declaring that we will W.I.N. (Walking In Next)!

▶A little story from my day today with a big lesson...◀ I wanted the grape flavour Skittle (the darkest one). I took out the first one; a red one, a green one, another yellow, another red one, damn it, there must be one there somewhere. Another green one, another red one, there must be a grape in here somewhere, it's so hard to keep trying to find a grape flavoured one! Then another green, and then... A grape, and then another grape flavoured one. The moral of that story, sometimes in life, we might be trying to get interviews to get the perfect job, the dates to find the perfect wife or husband, the sales prospects to find the perfect client, the contacts to find the perfect leader, the staff to find the perfect manager, you get what I mean. You know exactly what you are looking for, but you got to keep going through the numbers (the colours) until you find the perfect one, and then you may be lucky and get 2 straight of the perfect one you want (but not 2 wives or husbands of course 🤣). Morning Thought 💭

There is something about process that yields sustainable results. To heal from pain and hurt, go through process. To have joy, go through process. To be good at something requires process. And due to the nature of process and how it takes time, you will often have a promise or vision of the end. You will have the beginning and the end but not the in-between of process and that's because the in-between of process tends to involved crushing and patience. You cannot escape it so you must go through it.
