Blu Christmas Holiday Movie Asplosion 2022! ⛄ Chapter 46: Hogfather 🦌 I mentioned the profound effect the previous film had on young me, well I think it's safe to say that Terry Pratchett has had the greatest effect on me of any author (he is my favorite author of all time, without doubt). To say I was excited when I learned a live action movie was being made of one of the Discworld novels would be an understatement. And it was one of my favorites, Hogfather! As soon as I was able to find a way to watch it here (in the U.S.) I did, and bought the DVD as soon as it was available, then went on to try and acquire any/every version of it I could find on blu-ray as I discovered they were available. It still makes me sad that Sir Pratchett is no longer with us these several years later, but there is such of wealth of his creation to enjoy that I think I'll get by. Anyways, I like this TV movie-- it has its flaws, as anything does (editing is a bit off in places, and a couple moments seem forced off camera presumably due to what the effects would've cost), but it more than makes up for it in humor, charm, and entertainment.
