Fun Fact
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Communications and Informatics has blocked the Tumblr site because it contained 60 sites of terrorism, extremism, and pornography in 2015.
Alice By Heart Should have come back to stage and yes I'm still salty about it.
My infatuation with Alice by Heart is almost dangerous.
I wish it went to go onto broadway or even that we just had more videos of it because I'm obsessed and forever will be. There are only so many times that I can watch the same compilations and listen to the soundtrack without being sad that it didn't take off (thanks covid)
Sick to Death by Alice-ness is one of my favourite songs/scenes, the emotion and power is fucking outstanding. The first time I saw it, not so legally, I was in awe. Every single actor gave it their all (as they do in the whole show).
The book doesn't do the musical the justice it deserves. I just want to see this musical live 😭😭😭
The choreography, the harmonies, the chemistry is all so beautiful and then this heart breaking story that it's portraying with slices of fantasies from the world of Wonderland.
I'm just saying, if you have not yet heard or even listened to at least one song from this musical please do.
It is perfection (at least in my eyes)
Also Noah Galvin is in the og cast and his performance for all of his characters is top tier
it recently occurred to me that a lot of other people might be interested in this, so here is an *audio-only* bootleg of ONCE starring heath saunders and julie benko, at the hangar theatre on july 9, 2021.
it was an outdoor venue next to a pond, so disclaimer there's a lot of extraneous noise like wind through the trees, birds, and quite a lot of frogs.
i'm literally never on tumblr anymore, i only came on to share this, but if the link ever stops working please send me a message and i WILL get to it, eventually.
Here are a few sketches from the first Foul Play!! Murder at Vanguard mansion. It was tonnes of fun, I loved it. Roy Price was my favourite character, Alex Boniello was so fucking funny oh my god.
These are all quick sketches but maybe I’ll do a full drawing later!
Also have some random screenshots from my collection.
Over the 67 years of Eurovision, quite a few American contestants have taken part, one American even won the contest.
To begin, non-qualifying artists include:
Cyprus' 2006 representative and former backup singer for Brittany Spears, Annet Artani; both Austria and Slovenia's 2013 representatives, Natália Kelly and Hannah, respectively; finally Jimmie Wilson, who represented San Marino as part of a duo with Valentina Monetta in 2017.
Next, there were many qualifying American artists. Many of which made it into the top 10. For starters, artists that did not make the top 10 include:
1979's representative for Luxembourg, Jeane Manson; Denmark's 1981 representative Debbie Cameron, who took part as a duo with Tommy Seebach; Kim Cooper of The Rounder Girls, who represented Austria in 2000; Poland's 2008 representative Isis Gee; Oscar Loya of Alex Swings Oscar Sings, who represented Germany in 2009; Tamar Kaprelian of Genealogy, who represented Armenia in 2015; Bulgaria's 2018 contestants Trey Campbell and Johnny Manuel of the group Equinox; in 2021, Flo Rida featured in Senhit's performance for San Marino; and Poland's 2022 contestant Ochman.
Finally, a total of 6 American contestants have made the top 10. In order of placing, they are:
Rhonda Heath of the Silver Convention, who represented Germany in 1977, earning 8th place; Romina Power, who represented Italy twice with her then husband, Al Bano, once in 1976 and 1985 -- earning 7th place both times; Hungary's 2014 representative András Kállay-Saunders, who placed 5th; Wess, who performed with Dori Ghezzi in 1975 for Italy, placing 3rd; also placing 3rd was Greece's Kalomira, who took part in 2008; finally, taking home first place in 1997 was Katrina Leskanich of Katrina and the Waves, who represented the United Kingdom.

As Heath scampered off with his tail between his legs, Saunders checked in with Melody.
"Are you OK? He didn't hurt you or anything did he?"
"Heath? Please, he isn't capable. Only thing he ever bruised of mine was my dignity. Now tell me, when did I become your wife?"
"Wife leaves more of an impact than girlfriend."
"Lukas." Mel shot him eyes.
"It got him to leave, right?" He sighed. "I know. And I won't ask again. I know you'll say no."
"Oh yeah? Well, don't give up on me. Maybe I'm close to saying yes."
He gave her a look of such warmness, she wanted to melt.
"You're doing it again. You're asking me to marry you with your eyes."
"It's only because you don't respond well to my words."
"Well, I respond well to this." She leaned in and kissrf him deeply with a wordless I love you.
While Melody and Saunders were getting steamy, Heath was getting hot about their recent exchange.
"Mimi why didn't you warn me?! I was just over there and made a fool of myself hitting on her, and she's MARRIED?"
"What're you mad at me for, I told you she's married."
"I THOUGHT YOU WERE JOKING!"
"If you spent more time with me, you'd know my jokes are better than that."
"And she's pregnant too? You didn't say a thing about that. And that dude said it's not even their first one."
"I mean, no offense, Dad, but other people's kids are kind of none of your business."
"Look, kid, I just would've appreciated a heads up."
"Sure, I'll do that once I get my last payment of back child support you owe me. Oh and Dad, that's what my A joke material sounds like. But no, seriously, my inbox is open to any and all checks from you. I'm looking forward to that child-father bonding."
was anyone gonna tell me that there was someone else besides jake boyd who played jake for the 54 below reunion concert in 2016 or was I supposed to learn that through accidentally accessing the bmc wikipedia page on tiktok
It really fucking hurts when you’ve been watching a show and identifying with a character and their story line surrounding their mental health and burnout, and then they commit suicide. ….It really fuckin hurts.

In the musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, there’s a song called “The Abduction”. Most of the song takes place at a tavern where there’s kind of a bachelor party going on for a guy about to elope with a girl. There’s a pretty long instrumental break during the song, and for most of that part, there’s choreographed dance segment. But then it devolves into chaos. That is what the writer of the play, Dave Malloy, calls this segment. I’ll let him tell the rest:
“…to this day I really don’t know everything that happens in this moment, but some of my favorite bits include: Natasha breaking a painting (of a troika) over Balaga’s head; Marya D. and Hélène making out; Andrey and Azudi Onyejekwe having a fully choreographed fist fight; Mary doing some sort of bizarre elf warrior attack on violinist Billy Joe Kiessling, using his bow as a sword; Pearl Rhein and Summaya Ali throwing pages of War & Peace from the balcony; Heath Saunders taking his wild hair down in an existential rage; Nick Gaswirth tearing his shirt; and dear sweet Sonya cowering in fear, in the corner of the house right mezz.”
This is so funny to me, because a lot of those names mentioned are characters who wouldn’t be at the bachelor party, they’re just there as extras and are adding to the chaos with some OOC actions. But for some reason, in my head, the image of a couple people throwing War & Peace pages around so they’re raining on the audience … that’s what kills me.
And it sounds really funny on the soundtrack. Lots of cheering, some chatter, and a couple shrieks. It sounds like a complete madhouse. And then the chaos stops when Pierre finally joins the party and starts singing.
