so. i know, i know.

it's been a whole ass MINUTE since a gave hima attention, BUT...

i wanted to give them a color redesign. sort of.

does it look better? i wanted to give them this calm, slow, taking the day at the time feeling with the 'moss' sort of hair... color? like, its calming ig?

i thought of making the yellow in little bits, since it looked like there was too much of it in her hair

but i don't know.... i do like the green hair, though. they look very earth-y now.

...but wouldn't it be funny if i made them TALLER then vivi? like you think vivi's tall (220 cm) but THEN this soft looking person comes in but they're like A FULL 3 FEET TALLER THAN THE 2ND TALLEST PERSON YOU'VE EVER SEEN

nah being tall is vivi's thing

anyway INDECISIVE CHOICES

also idk what i should put them as like... in the twst universe? i think they'd be a cool demon in OM! but what sort of demon....

BIO: Born into a wealthy family in a town outside of Aponi, she grew up to be a tough thanks to her older brothers helping where they could, while her eldest brother became a scholar of sorts, her middle brother became a form of ambassador to help Hallownest and her last brother became a performer for a local opera house. Neela dove into the arts as well in for form of dancing, Seth would sometime ask her to preform along side her in shows if it was needed, her talent became well known. One day she had to step in for dancer who had gotten hurt and couldn't go on unknown to her the Pale King had come to see the show while visiting Aponi, amazed by skills the king tracked her down and extended an invitation to come to be a performer at the Palace for a long she wished, taken back by this Neela mulled over the idea for a bit before saying yes to the king. Upon arriving to the White Palace she was treated with kindness and was treated like any other guest that had come to the castle before her, on the first night she was due to preform before the royal couple and a few of their children as well as the court, running to the stage Neela bumped into the Pure Vessel himself, fear of what was going to happen to her if the king found out she started to panic, but the Pale Prince showed her kindness and mercy and helped her up, since meeting him Neela felt something in her start to grow, as time past she hung around the Pale Prince, valuing his friendship as well as the friendship she found with his sisters Shajara, Aatma and Laly. But over time Neela found stronger feelings for the Prince Hollow, fear that he was betrothed to someone else she dared not tell her feelings to him, that changed one night when he confessed his true feeling for the butterfly dancer, over joyed that she found love she told him the same, but the joy doesn't last, seeing her as a threat to what their plans were the leader wanted to get rid of her. Overhearing the threat the Pale King ordered his Queen to find and Neela to warn her, the queen did just as so, and asked Aatma and Layl to go with Neela to help keep her safe in cased they were followed, not wanted to part from the Pale Prince, she begged the Queen to let her tell him goodbye but there was on time, not being able to tell her Knight farewell Neela felt herself die a little inside as they left, but the Queen told her she would find him again and to never lose that hope. Once safe from the Palace the three of them were found by the Grimm Troupe, asking Grimm if he would help her find Hollow, Grimm promised he would help her find the Prince Hollow if they joined his Troupe, the three had no choice but to join him. Unknown to them of what was really planed for Neela.

Fun Fact: - She was a bit of a tomboy in her youth thanks to her three older brothers, as she got older she started to love dresses and loose clothes for flying means. - Due to the events at the Pale Palace she has anxiety issues and trust problems, her biggest fear she'll lose Hollow again and will never find him. - She was apart of an arranged marriage in her home town, but due to her soon to been husband cheating on her before the wedding both families agreed to call it off to save from further embarrassment from the husband. - Keeps her hair in a side braid, rarely lets it down, except around Hollow and when she sleeps. -Even though she came from wealth she likes to keep things minimal, nothing flashy be it clothes or otherwise . English voice is ...Medalion Rahimi (Agent Fatima Namazi NCIS: LA) . Japanese voice is …Shizuka Itou (Sailor Venus Sailor Moon Crystal, Flare Corona Fairy tail, Himawari Kunogi Holic series)

sebek realizes he likes hima's hair more than he realizes.

a/n: i am so weak to this trope OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHITTTTTTT also, hima is conciously mute, so if i offended anyone with my writing, please tell me right away. thank you!

"hey hima- AHHH!" deuce shrieked mid-greeting, surprised by the mass of hair that clumped on their hair.

"uh... was your hair always that... much?" ace asks, snickering. "no wonder you put it in a ponytail all the time."

the head beneath the forest of hair shakes as grim pipes up. "it's henchman's fault! during alchemy!"

hima manages a grouse, carrying the hair between their arms with a frown. it was an alchemy class gone wrong, where a drop too many of something was dropped onto the cauldron, causing it to explode. when crewel came to check, it was found to be a growth potion regarding whichever body part it hits.

their long orange hair (which has unfortunately been fading back into their original color, black), normally reaches their lower back when tied grew even longer, sweeping the halls of nrc as they walk.

they grumble, unable to pronounce their thoughts as easily. what is one to do in this situation?

"...will you be turning it back to normal?" sebek asks, uncharacteristically quiet. he'd normally throw a fit by now.

hima nods then sighs, miserably so, lifting their fingers to make a 7.

"it's gonna wear out in a few hours." grim explains, already busying himself in hima's hair, much to their chargin.

"ehhh, look at you, grim~" ace teases, chuckling at the sight.

"like a cat playing with a ball of yarn..." epel observes, hiding his laugh under his hand. grim stops instantly, jumping towards ace.

"that ain't true at all! y-yer' going blind!"

"are we?" deuce snickers, laughing at grim.

"i don't think we are." jack joins in, chuckling. only sebek didn't join the teasing, another uncharacteristic moment for him.

"i see..." sebek mutters, taking a lock of hair between his fingers and twirling it around.

before hima could sound a hum, sebek presses his lips towards it and gives it a kiss. "it's a shame. it's so beautiful."

"well, it'll be meddlesome for sir malleus if he were to step on it!" sebek haughtily laughs, dropping the strand of hair.

silence rings between the first years- oh, how the tables have turned.

"???? what? why are you humans looking at me like that?" sebek scoffs.

"you just..." deuce starts, gesturing with his hands towards sebek and hima.

"you're staring like I did something strange. all I did was ki..." sebek's eyes widen at the realization.

"!!!!" a boisterous blush blooms on sebek's face. "WAIT WAIT WAIT I-!"

hima looks down to hide their face, touching the lock of hair he kissed moments ago.

a loud scream pierces that whole school at that moment.

“Henchman…” Grim purrs, big blue eyes giving Himawari its best puppy-eyed look.

Himawari responds with a wary hum. “Hmm?”

Grim, delighted to get their attention, curls up in a ball and poses, paws striking cutely. “Mmm… can I, um…” The cat not-so-subtly points towards a picture of a tuna can.

“...” Himawari smiles, tilting their head… and then, shakes their head.

Grim’s face falls. The act is up. “W-WHY?! I WANT- I WANT THE TUNA CAN~!”

Himawari glanced down at the chess set in her hands. Would he take it?

With a shrug, they entered the loud dorm, expertly avoiding any party-goers that were a little too excited for their dorm leader's birthday. Sat in the middle of it all was the birthday boy, looking a little perkier than usual.

"Oi, herbivore," Leona called, catching Himawari's eye. With a nod, they came over and presented their gift with a little note that read: Happy Birthday, Leona-senpai! Grim and I painted the chess set. I hope you like it.

Upon opening the said gift, he was greeted with an assortment of pieces that any chess set would have. His deft hands picked up one of the king pieces- brown on top of its wooden head, and a curved line that spiraled downwards. 2 dots of green were painted over the head (one with a scar and one without) and splashes of orange colors the rest.

Leona might be a lazy lion, but he knows symbolism when he sees one. A king. Something he, the scorned second prince of the Savana could never be.

He set the piece down and began to unwrap the rest of the pieces. A few of his dormmates are drawn over there too, like Ruggie as the queen and Jack as bishop. Most of the pawns, he noted, are the brats he used when he attempted to take down Malleus- they don't even have eyes.

"You sure know your stuff, herbivore." He chuckled, placing the pieces to their correct spots. "Then as your king, servant, I order you to play with me against chess."

But today isn't time to think about that. Today...

He picked the first pawn up with his fingers, lightly waggling it in the air. "I won't lose."

Today, he rules. He rules the dorm, the day, the party.

(Himawari loses very quickly.)
