I missed u so much!!! though I haven’t been able to go on tumblr often I went on your blog (and your blog only) or re-read ur answers for my past asks every now and then!! going on ur blog is literally my therapy and my happy place, and it has been that way ever since I discovered your blog <33 so thank u so so much for that!

Lil life updateee I’m in uni now, in America which is very far away from my home country!! finally doing film major stuff hehe so it’s v nice, but at the same time it kinda fucks up my mental health at times </3 okok so my college rant under this!!!being soo far away from all my family and friends (and a country I’ve lived my whole life in) isn’t the easiest thing but honestly I think my actual struggles r based on the college part :( starting all my relationships from scratch&handling crazy amount of workload is toughh. I constantly feel the pressure to build a deep, close or comfortable friendship even though I know it takes time. I also think I have fomo&I constantly pressure myself cuz it feels like I have to know many ppl, go to parties every week and “have fun” but it doesn’t seem to be the case for me yet ;( I know it hasn’t even been 2 months so I should go easy on myself but my brain and mind seems to work separately </3 My brain knows things like these take time & a lot of ppl are going thru the same thing & everyone’s life goes on a diff pace & no one’s gonna judge if I’m going to parties and having fun in college or not… but my mind keeps pressuring me for no reason 😢

oh sweetpea, first year of uni can be rough!!! it was rough for me and i didn’t even move out of my home country, so i can only imagine the toll it’s taking on you!

my advice is to try and balance your mental health and your school work (a LOT easier said than done, i know, but you can do it!!). babie, if you don’t like going out to parties every weekend, or they’re totally draining and exhausting you, then don’t go! look around for events happening in the city and clubs happening on your campus that embody things you ENJOY doing, and spend your time going to those instead. you’ll still make meaningful connections through these, too!! university campuses often have a ton of events and clubs going on literally all the time, so start looking around!

i’m not going to tell you school isn’t important; my schoolwork and my grades and my education as a whole was extremely extremely important to me and i get the sense that it matters a lot to you too. and that’s good, that’s okay! i gleaned a lot of validation from my schoolwork and genuinely enjoyed my assignments, so i get it. thus, education matters, yes, but not at the expense of your mental health. school will always be there; it isn’t going anywhere, you know? but your mental health is something that must be dealt with immediately before it gets worse. you don’t deserve to suffer!!!

on the topic of balancing mental health/life and school: making realistic to-do lists, keeping a schedule, and offering myself rewards was what worked the best for me!! so, for example, i would make a ‘deal’ of sorts with myself: i’d be like okay, let’s read these three articles, or write three paragraphs of that essay, and then i can spend the rest of the night watching a movie/hanging out with friends etc and it worked quite well for me!! so maybe that might be a strategy you want to try!! <3

on the topic of friends + relationships: let those friendships and connections form organically; they’ll be much deeper that way. focus on fostering meaningful connections with people you click with. these could be people in your classes, in school clubs, your roommates, at parties (if you WANT to go; you do not have to. i didn’t!), at events around the city etc. personally, i made all of my uni friends through my classes and our film club on campus!! and let me tell you something: on my way to my first film club meaning, i was so nervous i nearly threw up. i almost turned around, but my mom called me and persuaded me to at least show up. as someone who suffers from severe social anxiety, it was downright terrifying, but i’m so glad i did it! and proud of myself, too!! i made a handful of really incredible, talented friends whom i still love and cherish today (one of them actually just messaged me to gush about dabi and then invite me to a little anime watch party he hosts every week). my point is: there are sooooooo many different ways to meet people and make new friends; parties are only ONE of those ways, and they’re not for everyone, and that’s okay.

you said america isn’t your home country, are you fluent in another language? if so, my city had this really cool program where you teach others languages (and they teach you one, too!) and i know a few of my friends made friends through that as well.so maybe that’s an option! if your city hosts a lot of film events at indie theatres, you could also check those out, too!!

look around and see what’s going on, and above all just take it one day at a time. i promise there’s no rush here and you’re 100% right, you should try to be easier on yourself!! be kind to yourself my sweet bunny babie, this is a lot to handle!! it must be very overwhelming! it’s okay if you have to take it a little slower! do whatever is best for you <3 and whenever your mind starts being mean to you and telling you lies, just tell it to shut the fuck up, because you KNOW it isn’t true (and tell it clari says stfu too and stop tormenting bunny >:( hehe <3)

a/n: okay so strangely enough, i thoroughly enjoyed writing oikawa's and it's probably my fav out of these three 😳 thank u for giving me the chance to write these and thank u for the kind words! i hope u like it 👉👈

❀ he’s been noticing you more and more — sat on the corner of the cafe he frequents during his breaks

❀ you would always order the same drink and sit on the same table by the window, he would occasionally glance at you, admiring the way sunlight hits your skin and the way the cafe music seemed to be playing solely for you

❀ but you always left too soon for his liking, 15 minutes before 2 in the afternoon to be exact

❀ he never knew where you went or what you did outside of the little cafe he sees you in everyday

❀ but soon enough, he was given a chance

“excuse me, is this seat taken?”

he saw your eyes look up at him in surprise and your lips curve into a small smile, “oh! no, go ahead”

“sorry for the trouble, i didn’t expect it to be this packed today”, he said in an attempt to engage in small talk

“it’s no problem at all” you assured him with another smile, “i often see you here, do you work nearby?”

❀ the two of you continued to chat until akaashi needed to remind you of the time

❀ but of course before you could even leave he'll ask you for your number saying

"i'd really like to know you more, if that's alright with you"

❀ of course it's alright with you sjckskdks

❀ the two of you would meet at the café everyday, except the weekends — same spot and same time, until it became part of your routines

❀ keiji took his time getting to know you and openly expresses his admiration for you

❀ of course you liked him back, he was sweet and considerate, he was everything you would like in a partner

❀ but you just needed to make sure of one thing before diving headfirst into a relationship

"akaashi-san—"

"keiji", he corrected, reaching out for your hand

the warmth of his hand helped eased your nerves of bringing up something that may potentially be a huge deal breaker

"keiji, we've been meeting for a while and i thought maybe it's time i tell you,"

❀ when you said you have a daughter, you never would've expected him to say "can i meet her?"

❀ you almost cried then and there— it had always been a big deal to the guys you met before, you being a single mother

❀ keiji sensed your relief and squeezed your hand in reassurance that it really was no big deal to him

❀ well it was, but it wasn't something that would easily shake up his resolve of being with you

❀ meeting your daughter for the first time was set in the same café, on a saturday half past noon

❀ he smiled seeing the quiet four year old on your lap, curious eyes and a small smile as he held out the little bunny plushie he got for her as a gift

❀ weekend café dates became frequent with the three of you and soon became home dates— alternating between your and keiji's apartments

❀ your daughter loved when he read to her, having her sat on his lap with a picture book in his hands

❀ more often than not, you would catch him fast asleep on the couch— picture book on the floor and your child snuggled up against his chest

❀ during these moments, especially, you couldn't help but imagine spending every day with them both without having to part ways by the end of it

❀ and of course, when he wakes up, keiji can't help but think the same thing when he wakes up to you smiling softly at him and the little girl who kept a part of his heart inside her tiny little hands

❀ your son met him first

❀ he just got out of the police academy and was assigned near the elementary school gates

❀ kids would often come up to him with fascination in their eyes

❀ and it wasn't a different case with your seven year old son

"hey mister are you a policeman?"

"sure i am, why do you ask?" he answers with the softest smile, crouching down to the child's level

"that's so cool! mom said my dad was a policeman, maybe you're my dad?"

he watched the boy's eyes widen in realization and he couldn't help but chuckle

"sorry, bud, but i don't think i have a child yet neither do i have a wife"

"well do you want one?"

❀ that effectively painted his cheeks in red, standing straight up and ruffling the boy's hair, urging him to go straight home

❀ everyday your son would come up to him to ask him the same questions and saying the same things

"would you want to be my dad?"

"i think it'll be sooo cool to have you as my dad"

"let me ask my mom if you can be my dad"

❀ jesus help this man pls

❀ he found it all to be endearing and soon enough he looked forward to chatting with your son for a few minutes every afternoon on his way home from school

❀ your child would always brag about how nice you are, how pretty, and just how amazing of a mom you are

❀ an amazing lil wingman if u ask me

❀ it wasn't until one of his day offs that he met this wonderful mom that he always heard of— and boy was he stunned

❀ he was out grocery shopping, skimming the aisles when he heard the familiar voice of your son

"mama, it's the policeman i was talking to you about!"

before you even had the chance to react, your child bolted through the spice aisle and cling to this man's leg

you quickly caught up to him and was about to apologize to the stranger when you saw him get to your child's level and pat at his head

"oh hey, didn't know i'd catch you here"

"i'm with mama! now you can see just how pretty she is!"

❀ the comment made both your faces heat up but even moreso when daichi looked up at you, absentmindedly muttering a "she is"

❀ your son had the proudest grin on his face >:)

❀ the three of you went out for lunch then which you insisted to be for all the trouble your son has caused him— who so conveniently disappeared to the playhouse to leave you two to yourselves

❀ it didn't take a lot for daichi to be absolutely smitten by you— admiring how you could handle a child and a job all by yourself and still managing to have that pretty smile on your face

❀ he had to thank your son his little accomplice the next time they have their afternoon chat

❀ and maybe start planning on "Operation Get Mom and Daichi-san Together"

❀ started as students sharing a class and later on became inseparable best friends

❀ you two met in college

❀ tōru would rave on and on about how much better you were than "iwa-chan" whom he never lets you see during their facetimes bec you "might fall for him and choose iwa-chan over me"

❀ he was there to witness you going out with an orgmate, there to listen about the first time you got laid, and of course he was there to comfort you when your ex left the moment you told him you were pregnant during your third year in college

"do you want to keep it?"

tōru held you close as you cried, his soft voice mingling with your sobs

"i d-don't know"

you buried your face on his chest, prompting him to hold you tighter and rub comforting circles on your back

"whatever you choose to do, i'll be here", he promised "i won't leave you"

❀ the moment you decided to keep your baby was the moment it was decided that oikawa would co-parent with you

❀ during your pregnancy, he came to your apartment everyday and stayed over on weekends

❀ he kept his promise and never left your side even after you gave birth

❀ he practically moved in with you, staying up late at night to care for your child so you could get some rest, he changed schedules and skipped classes to let you continue going to yours

❀ it was alright, he said, afterall a pro volleyball team was already eyeing him— he was set even before graduation

❀ the both of you fell into a steady rhythm of domesticity

❀ eating breakfast together, taking turns changing your daughter's diapers, cuddling in the same bed and having sleepy conversations about the future and how you're both thankful of the other

❀ it was never established what you two were— you just knew that you were each other's constant and that you promised to stay with the other until god knows when

"what're you planning to do then?"

"i don't knoooow~ iwa-chan help me out here~"

"well, for starters, you should go and tell her— y'know, about argentina"

there was a moment of silence between the line, tōru mulling over his options

"i don't want to leave her" was his quiet reply

"i know you don't, but this opportunity may never come by again, don't let it slip"

❀ it was a few weeks before your graduation, your daughter now more than a year old, when he received the call inviting him to play for argentina

❀ on one hand he knew it was the chance of a lifetime, but when he looks at you in his arms with your daughter on your chest, he couldn't even think about leaving you

❀ it was less about the promise he made and more about how he couldn't imagine his everyday without the two of you

"y/n-chan~"

you only hummed in response but looked up to meet his eyes

"if i were to get invited to go to the other side of the world to play volleyball, would you come with me?"

he held your gaze with hesitation

"i'll go anywhere with you, tōru, i thought you knew that by now"

a small smile of relief graced his face as he exhaled, closing his eyes and rubbing his face against yours, "thank you"

the next few moments were spent in comfortable silence before he broke it with a chuckle, "is it too late now to ask you to be my girlfriend?"

"tōru, we're basically a married couple for the past two years"

You guys know i'm not a vlog person but today i'm back yaaz i'm back to Seoul South Korea is been a long time i didn't visit this beautiful place i'm here for business however the meeting my manager and i thought was 24 hours turn to be a 1 week of meetings and since after the meetings i'm free i'll be showing what i can in this Katzha Vlogz of mines u will see my best friend Kioba and makeup like a lot of makeup you will see this time and not just da also skin care products i want to open u guys mind to try other things da ain't American makeup and skin care korean skin care is very amazing and is for everyone not like the makeup da targets just one demographic and i hope someday they change da

This is the place i'm staying i didn't know the hotel had pink rooms but apparently they zo ahahaha i have a self walk-in closet i have a mini closet as well close to the bed i have a couple of seating areas where they kick the ball was giving me a black glam beauty station moment everything in this room had me dead for a few seconds right now issa lil bit cold outside and rainy but nothing serious to make u not to go out n explore if you were wondering yaz the bathroom is also pink

One of my biggest mistakes was not bringing blushes and highlighters but when i'm in Seoul i don't use highlighter instead i use a lot blushes and bronzers for mistake i brought with me the Dragun Beauty face kit let's call it like da ladies n gentlemens don't buy this product issa waist of time and money this girl put a fucking fake ass synthetic wig w/makeup idk but you but ain't feeling it she waisted so much money on the packaging da she forgot the formula and pigmentation is what will make her business successful this kit lacks of pigments and the formula is not greatest or the baddest theirs a lot of kickback coming from the contours the shades in my opinion are not for everyone sorry hunny this ain't universal to me da shade in the top left corner is to dark for my fair friend Kioba and on me da shade looks grey-ish the other shade da looks like chocolate looks to orange for me the blushes are a no no as well the one da looks pink/red-ish call babygirl is ashy the other one a lost case u suppose to use powder blushes w/brush right? This blushes as soon u dip on em and tap the exes of the brush is like the blush fly w/the wind they literally disappears from the brush is like the brush didn't pick nothing the highlighters are good for a lids inner corners moment this is something da nobody ask for cuz we all have our own blushes, highlighters and contour da we luv in other brands this is more for the people da stan this brand and this person living a fantasy CANT RELATE i prefer the realtea of the world i regret so much bringing this with me

This right here is my favorite part of this video ahahaha i went shopping to Tony Moly issa Korean makeup/skin care brand the majority of the time their makeup and skin care is animated they have bunnies, Rose's and pandas in their packaging i bought what i think was fitting for me to take with me home i bought the bunny glosses, two setting sprays, one water cleanser, a powder for the pores witch is da cat cute compact, makeup remover wipes and a bunch of masks ik and we all aware k beauty targets just one demographic however don't let da down you cuz i have use korean makeup in the past like very specific products such as lipsticks, blushes, bronzers, highlighters, eye shadows, glosses and lip tints everything work like wonders like any brand in the beauty industry not all are pigmented and with good formulation if u want good products u need to buy from specific brands if you're a on the go gal da luvs everyday settle makeup k beauty might be for you the skin care is for everyone and girl the have pretty good quality products

I hope one day K beauty becomes more diverse because they have amazing products i think a lot of y'all will like this is all about trying new things and see other sides of makeup when i'm here in Seoul i use a cushion foundation dewy setting spray n a lip tint and i'm ready ahahaha i will make more K beauty hauls and more give details of the products and why they're worth to try from my favorite brands a look up to when i'm doing shopping i might do as well a skin care favorites da might work for y'all also ok my Alpha Gang i hope you guys enjoy this tiny vlog of mines i'm so excited to continue making more vlogs but idk if u enjoy this Katzha Vlog let me know in the comment section and lets make this a thing ahahahaha thank guys so much for watching i see you guys soon 🐺

ME TOO CLARI ME TOO my fav thing to do is making someone watch a film that i’ve enjoyed nd observe their reaction all the time hehehe i watch their reactions more than the actual movie pffft

moving onto ur fav film list, your fav film list made me SO happy!! i was so excited to see that most of them were films i’ve watched&wholeheartedly enjoyed ( ^ω^ ) FINALLY SOMEONE APPRECIATING THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS YES!! whenever i mention anderson everyone talks ab the grand budapest hotel so im so happy to see u enjoyed the royal tenenbaums 🥺 also omg u watched burning?!? isn’t it such an amazing film <3 also reservoir dogs and little women and spirited away and ahh i could go on and on forever ab ur list but this ask would be a whole essay so i’ll force myself to hold in cri cri

horror movies are so fascinating aren’t they!!! i love em sm too <3 ari aster n jordan peele r my fav favs when it comes to horror. +the shining and scream! i enjoyed the conjuring series as well :) wait can i drop u a rec, since u love horror i totally recommend a tale of two sisters by kim. one of my all time favs&i have a strong feeling u would love it too! that film has such beautiful cinematography as well (✿╹◡╹)

ahhh my fav films r like, all over the place cuz i don’t have a strong preference/taste, but some of my fav films (that aren’t mentioned above/in ur list) include jojo rabbit-waititi, the florida project-baker, dazed and confused-linklater, moonlight-jenkins, girl interrupted-mangold, your name-makoto, mid90s-hill, lady bird-gerwig, uncut gems-safdie and etc etc so many more but i feel like im oversharing hehehe i also love action movies too but that’s a whole different discussion ;)

honestly u can recommend me anything u want cuz my taste is all over the place like i said, but to narrow it down, hmmm 🤔 is there a movie that u think is a must-watch? or genre-wise, maybe horror/action/drama/coming of age!! love u so so much clari<33 how is tumblr allowing me to write this much huh -🐰

AHAHAHA YESSSSS oh my gosh i love the royal tenenbaums so much!! like my favourite wes film is either fantastic mr fox or rushmore, but yes!! grand budapest is rly pretty tho and i think that’s why so many people gravitate towards it yk? I DID WATCH BURNING actually i was super lucky and got to watch it at TIFF before it ‘officially’ premiered + there was a lil q&a with the cast and director (w a translator ehehe) but it absolutely blew me away. i’m just in love with korean cinema as a whole. i have yet to watch a korean film that i don’t like!!

little women is just !!!!!!! i love greta so much and i can’t wait to see what else she creates; i just feel like greta is a woman director creating films FOR WOMEN. does that make sense??? well-known women directors are already so sparse, but there are some (ie bigelow) who create uhhhhhh films that cater more towards men and the masses??? and that’s not to say that bigelow isn’t a fantastic director, because she IS, but i really like sofia coppola and greta gerwig because their films are so feminine and focused on feminine issues and relationships that we really don’t see on widespread/popular screens (like at first run theatres ie multiplexes).

RESERVOIR DOGS AAAAAAAH listen listen i have A Thing for mr. blonde ehehehe yeah i really love quentin, as i mentioned. whenever someone says pulp fiction is his best film i really have to refrain from rolling my eyes, and i know that makes me sound like suuuuch a snob but like,,,,,,,,,, pulp fiction is his most popular film, not his best (in MY opinion!! since art is all personal opinion yk etc etc). and like i could go on forever about him, i love every single one of his films, i think he’s such a fantastic writer and just aaaaah <333333 love quentin’s work so so so much.

ARI ASTER AND JORDAN PEELE ARE FANTASTIC. i wrote an essay on get out and it was literally one of my favourite essays to write!! i’m really really really excited to see what both of them continue to create!! OOOOH I LOOKED IT UP AND YEAH IT LOOKS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY i will add it to the list n get back to you!!!
