Hey guys im sorry I haven't been posting, honestly tumblr is making it hard to. every single story I write tumblr crashes then deletes it so it's been HIGHLY frustrating...guess I need to invest in a laptop or a better phone

Sorry this was so long I always want the boys' back stories to be only 2 parts

This story contains: death, torture, abuse, toxic relationships, murder, violent themes

"you're too soft! They are sinners theodore why are you being so damn sensitive"

Theo winced at the punch his father landed which caused him to stumble back his back hitting the table which held their latest victim, a young woman that theo cleaned up and dressed in his mother's clothes, he didn't like the sight of her all bloody and mangled it made his heart sting.

Theo never helped to Kill any of these women, only cleaned them up and made sure they looked beautiful in death it was his way if asking for forgiveness.

When he was ten he idolized his father but it's been two years since he caught his father and been training under him to take his place and all that love vanished he found himself feeling nothing but hate and disgust for his father, what made matters worse was the fact that his mother had to take half the brunt of his father's anger.

"I won't do this anymore, you're wrong. Women aren't devils, mother is an angel and I wont hurt her"

Theo's harsh remark earned him yet another punch in the face this one knocking him down as he spat out blood the metallic taste making him sick to his stomach.

"you're a damn fool boy, I'll make you see her filth"

With that his father left him in the attic to starve for the night which was always a common occurrence. As he laid back on the floor the boy let out a dry chuckle.

"Just a little more...then you'll be the one burning in hell father"

Theodore felt everything go black and it wasn't long until he had passed out soon waking back up in bed with his mother caring for his wounds. He could smell her sweet perfume and hear her soft humming, something about those things made his heart flutter in the purest of ways.

"you should be careful theo, you know making him angrier will only result in pain"

"it's okay, we'll leave together one day..just me and you.."

There was silence after that and for a while things were okay, the family was quiet during dinner and once it got late theo figured his father would have went to bed forgiving him for his outburst in the morning.

Theo woke to the sound of two metal objects clashing together, the sound was enough to stir him awake though when he tried to move he realized he was tied up against a chair. That clashing noise he heard was his father sharpening a few knives, the sight made theo's blood run Cold.

"f-father?"

"god told abraham to kill his son, and abraham was about to do it like a loyal sheep. God will make you do awful things theodore and as a man we must do them"

Theo frantically struggled against the ropes binding him only feeling more and more stressed as his father stepped closer and closer thing soft steps of his shoes making theo feel like he had to puke.

What's going to happen to me?

Am I going to die?

Theo felt his father press the tip of the blade pressed softly against his forehead on the left side of his face, the cool metal only brought theo to reality more, his father was going to kill him cause god said so.

"i-i know we are nothing alike but please-"

"we are absolutely nothing alike! You are exactly like your mother a sissy little housewife! You were never going to be a good man or husband! When I asked God for a son I thought he would send me one I could be proud of!"

Rage fuelled theo, he wasnt sure why but something about what his father said made him want to scream, his father was wrong... absolutely wrong.

"I'll be a perfect husband, and a better Father than you"

As soon as he said those words theo felt the sharp pain of his father pushing the blade into his skin earning a sharp inhale of breath trying not to show too much weakness. Theo kept thinking about his mother and how in a way he was protecting her, their goal were to run away safely together.

"we might have one thing in common theodore, you have a devil in you just like me..it's time to show you just how tainted you are"

With that theo felt a harsh intense pain as his father dragged his blade along the boy's face earning screams coming from him as he thrashed and tried kicking but his father pressed his knee onto the boy's legs now carving his skin off in such a slow and unbearable way that it was driving theo crazy

"accept your sins theodore! This is your punishment for being unloyal!"

Theodore couldn't stop screaming as the knife raked down his face roughly cutting a large chunk of his skin clean off, the pain was so great he was close to fainting but his father came prepared and injected him with an adrenaline shot.

"p-please f-father please please please..."

Theodore at this point didnt know what he was begging for, maybe death? The overwhelming taste and smell of his own blood was making him sick and not to mention there was a lot of blood pouring down his face.

I'm dying.. god has forsaken me

"may you be reborn as a perfect child next time"

Theo kept his head down but felt a soft kiss on his head before hearing footsteps walk away from him before the door to the attic closed, his father left him to die!

Theo swayed side to side hoping to get free, if he could just get to his father's desk and grab a knife though without his glasses seeing things far away was near impossible though he could see the shape of the desk.

"mother needs me, I can't die.."

Theo grunted in pain as he fell forward which wasn't his plan but he'll take it, with every fiber of his being he crawled and scooted along the ground towards the desk before seeing a knife handle over the edge of the desk. Thankfully his legs were tied just his arms so with some embarrassing attempts to stand of even kneel before turning around to grab the knife with his hand.

Before he could cut himself free he heard banging on the attic door before a crash, the sound was enough to startle him into cutting the palm of his hand and dropping the knife

"argh! I-it hurts!"

Soon the attic door opened and rushing towards him was his loving mother, her frantic questions and worrying about him made him feel far better especially when she untied him from the chair.

"I'm leaving tonight theo, my fiancee is waiting for me outside"

"t-then let's go mother! Now is the perfect time to go!"

There was a tense silence after that as theo felt his mother bandage his wound up, his mother was hiding something and he didn't like it.

"w-we have a little girl and he's very protective of her and well with how your face looks now you'll scare her and I don't want to bring any baggage from my pa-"

Theodore felt as if his head was spinning, what was she saying? He did everything for her he almost died for this woman and she saw him as baggage to toss away before going to her new family.

"y-you're going to leave me here? J-just like that?! I protected you from him! I made sure he never hurt you! Were you ever going to bring me with you?!"

"keep your voice down theo, please calm down you're scaring me-"

"I'm scaring you?! I'm the one scaring you?! How could you?! I'm your child! I love you!"

He watched his mother look down shamefully and slowly back away clearly afraid of what will her next words do to him. Theodore was feeling a little unstable at the moment, his own mother just betrayed him can he truly trust no one in his life?

"your eyes just...look just like him. I can't theo I'm so sorry I can't it's too painful for me.. you're too much like him"

That was the thing that broke theo all together, it was like his brain just snapped and no clear thought came just pure anger and pain. How could she think that?! Theo thought he was nothing like his father absolutely nothing!

"no! I'm nothing like him! Nothing! He's abusive and a horrible man how could you say that!? I thought you loved me but you're just like him-yeah you're like him not me! I'm pure! A good person"

Theo couldn't stop himself, before he knew it he had grabbed the knife he dropped earlier, the large blade held tightly in his hand and scaring the one person he thought he can trust.

"w-why do you want to leave me? You're just embarrassed of me..you don't want me around cause you hate me"

"no no no baby I love you I just-"

Theo swung the knife slashing his mother's arm, hearing her cry out in pain made him only smile as he gazed at her fearful expression. His sense of reason was vanished and all he wanted now was to show everyone how much they hurt him

"maybe if you were a better mother I wouldn't have gotten hurt all the time, maybe if you weren't too busy being a good wife instead of a good mother I wouldn't be in such pain!"

"t-theo please I just-"

"why couldn't I just have a normal family?! I prayed for one! So why!?"

Theo slashed at his mother again and again over and over sloppily slashing at her without caring about where he aimed. He was far more focused on releasing all this pain and betrayal he felt

"why doesn't anyone want me?! Why don't you want me! I want you so what's wrong with me?! Why am I so broken?!"

Theo ignored the sobs and begging for her to stop, they were not processing clear enough to him he just wanted to hurt them to hurt them in ways they hurt him. Her thrashing soon stopped but it wasnt enough for theo, he moved ontop of her now raising the blade and slamming it down inside her chest his eyes glossed over as he did so.

"I'm not like him, I'm nothing like him! I'll be a good father! A good husband! I'll never abandon my family! Never! Never ! Never!"

The knife slipped I his hand and when he tried to catch it he grazed his hand before hearing the knife clatter onto the ground, theo panted heavily before looking at his hands seeing hands were lightly bruised from gripping the knife so hard, he then looked down at his mother and her horror stuck face.

"look at what father did, I told you we should have left before...it's okay I'll protect you"

Theo reached out taking the scarf his mother wore before putting it on himself before pressing it to his nose and taking a deep inhale, the sweet scent gave him shivers.

The sight of his dead mother made the boy tear up but he honestly didn't realize he was the one who had did such a thing, it was something he refused to accept. Now gripping the knife he once had before he creeped down the attic stairs each step more and more anxiety fuelling, from the quiet sounds it seemed like his father was asleep.

Theo had never acted out so violently than when he saw his father sleeping soundly in bed, once again much like before he had completely snapped now walking over and plunging the knife deep into his father's side earning a painted grunt along with his father's eyes to snap open

This caused theo to panic and he did the first thing he could think of which was to bite his victim's ear using that time to shove the blade into his father's chest before biting his ear off and spitting it onto the ground in a feral snarling mess.

"t-there's your demon... y-you're just like me"

"I'm nothing like you! Nothing!"

Theo gripped the knife blade shoving it deeper til it became stuck and his father stopped breathing, what struck theo as odd was the lack of struggling..didn't his father want to live? That escaped his mind as he tried wiggling the blade out of the corpse only to whine lightly at how stuck it was

"heavy, too heavy"

Theodore decided his next plan was to change out of his bloody clothes except for his scarf of course and to turn on the gas stove as high it can possibly go, he used his bedroom window to escape since his mother's boytoy was still waiting for her outside.

One match, it took one match to burn the place down starting the fire in his bedroom and letting it spread. A few minutes after theo jumped out the window the house roared to live now completely on fire.

Theodore only 12 years old had killed his parents and burned the place down, he had no one else to turn to no family or anything so he turned to his local church. They sent him to a boarding school where he grew up and found a passion for medicine as well as helping others.

His dark past always haunted him, he was known as the boy whose family died horrible deaths. There were always rumors about what happened that night some say that his father killed everyone before burning the place and stabbing himself others think that his mother's lover killed them all in an angry rage. Theo would always just shrug and laugh it off thanking God that he's alive

Those dark desires of having a family only grew as he grew older, it became a twisted obsession that festered stronger and stronger by the time he was 18 he was already waiting for marriage..after all a good husband waits for the perfect bride.

"theo? Hey theo? Hello earth to theo?"

Theodore snapped awake only to see his sweet darling staring at him worriedly, he must have fallen asleep in his office again. Theo simply smiled as he stood from his chair

"what's wrong?"

"well, dinner's ready have a good dream or something?"

Theo chuckled softly before running his fingers through his hair trying to come up with a suitable answer

"just dreaming about the past my angel, though I should focus on the future with you after all the past is the past..."

Hi! So I'm having a shitty day {we had to put down the dog we've had for my entire life}, and I was creating headcannons as a means of escape. One I thought I'd share was for Paroi. So... we know that Theo, Alice, and Susan all have crushes on Philip, and probably see each other as rivals, but they never considered Mc to even be in the running. Do they band together and decide to try and turn Philip against his 'girlfriend' when they get back? Would it be like the Himbo!Laf story?

im so sorry you're having a rough day darling :( you have my deepest condolences ily <3

but on the other note, here, they would absolutely try to band together to take out mc. i could see it being akin to the secret agent!laf au, and both mc and philip are oblivious to all their attempts to make her look bad. i could see him just attempting to help her when they’re all trying to sabotage her:

susan would put them all on assignments incredibly far removed from one another so that they weren’t together at work

she’d tell philip that mc wasn’t getting everything done and start asking him to take on her work in an effort to make him angry at her for slacking

but mc ends up at his apartment every other night so they end up working together on everything that either of them is assigned

besides, with how many years susan spent pawning philip’s work off to mc, he isn’t about to believe that suddenly she can’t even handle her own workload

alice, their secretary, would chat with philip about how rude mc was being to her that morning :( and how she was making her feel so bad

philip goes “im sorry to hear that :(” and alice thinks she succeeded and he’s unhappy w/ mc

however, he j took this to mean mc was in a bad mood bc she was having a shitty day, so he brings her coffee and buys her lunch to try and find time to comfort her and cheer her up

those days often end up becoming their date nights bc philip is worried abt her :( so he invites her over

dealing w/ theo in hr would be the biggest headache of all, tho

since she works in hr, when they’re suddenly in a relationship, they’re kinda obligated to report that to hr (unless they’re gonna keep it a secret, but they don’t wanna pretend to still have some sort of animosity between them)

so theo gives them a million hoops to jump through in order to file the paperwork that they’re together

she’s hoping that all the obstacles will drive them apart (and give theo an excuse to spend more time w/ philip), but w/ how damn long philip has waited for this, he just sees it as an excuse to spend more time talking abt how he finally pulled mc

but altogether, they do their very best to make philip doubt his relationship w/ mc

they lie to him abt mc complaining abt some habit he has

and in turn, they lie to mc abt philip doing the same

but bc they’re both big fucking simps once they finally get together, they’re just extra cautious to be considerate of some pet peeve that the other has

the closest they get is when they convince philip that mc thinks he’s being overbearing

since philip is generally the more affectionate one in their relationship (physically and otherwise), that makes him way insecure

and when he starts pulling away from mc, that obviously raises concerns for her

but what theo, alice n susan wouldn’t have guessed is that mc was literally gonna call up alex and eliza to see if everything was ok

and since philip is THE mama’s boy, he’s obviously alr confided in eliza abt all this

so when they tell her that he’s concerned that he’s been too clingy and overbearing, she responds by being ridiculously overbearing and clingy to him

and he absolutely loves it

she’s generally pda-averse, but when she finds out that philip is worried he’s being too clingy, she sucks it up and gets over that

mc starts kissing him while they’re at work, or being all over him when they’re having lunch together in the break room, or reminding him that she loves him in passing when theyre at the office

and all of this happens, like, two weeks after theo, alice, and susan convinced him that mc is sick of him, they’re all absolutely appalled

alice sees them walking in together hand-in-hand, and susan sees mc kissing him on the cheek before she goes over to take her seat at her desk, and they’re both fuming

because this wasn’t supposed to be how this turned out???!?!?!?! wtf happened

now to get back on topic, here are a few fluff headcanons I did a good while ago for someone on Amino but I'm only getting around to posting now. I'll post my rules soon and then you all can request any fluff headcanons you like!! :)

D = Dream (what do they dream of doing with their s/o?)

Theo probably dreams of taking you out with him to see art of all kinds. He's an art dealer and art is his passion in spite of the risks of his trade, and dreams of being able to take you with him all the time. It can be an exhausting job, leaving early in the morning and not returning until rather late, but if you show enthusiasm to accompany him and passion in what he treasures so dear, he'll fall in love with you 10× harder and that dream will come true.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Theo is a puppy at heart, so he adores hugs. Never in public, though. Whether it be the residents of the mansion or strangers while the two if you are out and about, Theo does not have the spine to receive PDA, and the most he will give is probably pulling you through a crowd by the wrist. Whenever you're alone he flips like a switch, though, and loves nothing more than to melt in your arms, leaning against you and resting his head on your shoulder. He has to remember that he's actually quite heavy and needs to support his own weight, or he might crush you. He prefers it when you initiate (taking a little bit of the embarrassment away from this tsundere prick c; ), and favors hugs where he can snuggle his face into your hair or neck. Even after you've hugged for the thousandth time, he's still somewhat embarrassed to make eye contact, and nuzzling where he can take in your scent is a good replacement.

I = Intimacy (How romantic are they? Do they have problems with intimacy?)

Theo can be a romantic when he wishes to be, and the main thing that pushes him to it is seeing the way it flusters you. He used to consider many romantic gestures as incredibly (and unbearably) cheesy, but if it turns your face beet red then he's sold on it. Given that nobody else is there to see, Theo's favorite forms of intimacy and romance are primarily physical. He's not very good with words and not very gracious at giving gifts, but be it a ruffle of your hair as he passes you by or a kiss to your neck behind closed doors, he treasures that. He likes those mellow moments under the moonlight, lying together in either silence or filling it with idle conversation whispered by gentle voices.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous? How do they act when jealous?)

If you want an idea of how Theo is when he's jealous, just think of how protective he is of Vincent.

He's probably an easily jealous person, but not so much that it's toxic or manipulative. It's triggered by little things (you smiling too warmly at one of the mansion residents, or accidentally brushing up against one if them, or Arthur getting too close when he flirts with you), and it's usually very visible on his scowling face. He tries his best to trust you and keep his feelings a secret, because these things are bound to happen in a mansion full of men. And telling you... oh dear... telling you he got jealous would be more embarrassing than he can handle. So instead, if he feels that you aren't giving him enough attention, he will just pull you away by the wrist and come up with some excuse to take you with him to town

His way of taking you out on a spontaneous date, but he'll never admit that's what it is. Instead he'll come up with a stupid excuse

"No, stop looking at me like that, hondje. You're just working so damn hard all the time, I don't want to deal with you fainting or anything... that would be such a bother."

K = Kiss (Are they a good kisser? Do they like to kiss? How often do they try to kiss you?)

Theo is probably a bit of a tease when it comes to kissing, liking to leave a kiss on the cheek or corner of the mouth and then leaning away. He likes to see you pout or stand on your toes to reach him, so that makes it all worth it. Like with hugs, he loves it when you initiate, but if you're not alone he can and WILL turn beet red and look away. He's a softie deep inside and would love to leave longer, more loving kisses, just... not when anyone's looking...

Even in private it probably takes him awhile to get used to kissing with more intimate and romantic meaning (he copes with embarrassment by teasing so if you take that away he'll be jello inside), but once he gets a bit more used to it he really enjoys it for what it is.

i wanted a bttf url last summer when i got back into the fandom, and i wanted it to be specific to marty bc i love him but i also want to be him. im like, obsessed with the nickname "future boy" that doc gives him in 1955, and the url futureboy is taken, so i am mrfutureboy bc i am marty (kinnie shit)

Sterek masterpost

So, now that I’ve written 30 (!) Sterek fics, I figured it was about time that I made a masterpost of my stories. You can find the full list on my Tumblr as well!

Been here before and it just feels right (strangers tonight) - (T, 3.4k) Summary: Derek Hale was an awkward teenager, but he grew into himself. He grew out of that pulling pigtails phase. Shame that being reunited with his old crush brings it all back. Even worse: Stiles doesn’t even seem to recognize him. Or does he?

Better that I break the window (than miss what I should see) - (M, 9k) Summary: Someone opened Stiles’ window. But he’s all the way on the 7th floor - how the fuck did that happen? Spoiler alert: werewolves are real. And really hot.

Bring on the monsters (bring on the real world) - (E, 11.1k) Summary: He was supposed to be making an impression on Lydia, but instead he’s making fun of a terrible werewolf costume. To be fair, those mutton chops remind him of Michael J. Fox in the worst way, and the guy didn’t appear to be too offended. He was too busy smelling Stiles for some reason. He really shouldn’t have forgotten cologne.

but that’s just a first impression (I could be totally wrong) - (T, 2.9k) Summary: Derek is on a really awful blind date (Laura will pay for this). But the waiter is really cute.

The coolest wolf in the whole wide world - (T, 8.3k) Summary: Stiles is surprisingly good at being a wolf. Like, super good at control, loves the drama of making weird entrances, and determined to try all the things. Because he has to find out what’s different about being a wolf. And Derek is going to be his Yoda, whether he wants to or not. Only Stiles is pretty sure Yoda never smelled this good.

Detective Stiles Stilinski and the Case of Derek Hale’s Mysterious Mate - (T, 5.6k) Summary: Mates are a thing. A werewolf thing. Which is fine and shit, but finding out that Derek fucking Hale has a mate? That gets to him. And seeing as Derek won’t tell him who it is, well… Guess that means this is a job for Detective Stiles Stilinski - if he’s not too distracted by his traditional banter with Derek.

Everything mixed up (and baked in a beautiful pie) - (T, 6/6, 42k) Summary: Stiles’ friends are more of a pain in the ass than usual around the holiday season. Just because he spends all of his time at his bakery, doesn’t mean he’s unhappy. So hiring a fake boyfriend seems like the perfect, simple solution. Instead Stiles stumbles onto a stupid quest to make Derek Hale happy. But surely that will all work out in time.

Fit hot guys have problems too (don’t objectify us with your male and female gaze) - (T, 1.7k) Summary: To Cora, 1:24 AM: im tired of guys just wanting to hook up with me. im like, guys, i know im pretty and i have a slammin bod and i love making out, but cant someone treat me with respect?? Derek is tired of being objectified. Enter Stiles Stilinski, hot mess who has an opinion about everything. Derek is surprisingly intrigued.

Gymnophoria - (T, 0.9k) Summary: Stiles is paranoid - he keeps feeling someone’s eyes on him. Surprisingly, no nefarious plans happen.

He got lost in my DMs (wanna be way more than friends) - (T, 2.8k) Summary: Derek is somewhat of an online hero, providing candid pictures of himself to anyone who wants persistent suitors to just go away already. Stiles… is suddenly surrounded by assholes who apparently really want to hear about how great his fake boyfriend is. Part 1 of Slide into those DMs

Heard you were tough (but you don’t look it) - (T, 3.6k) Summary: Derek is a protective Alpha, and whenever he sees a human in danger, he has to step in. Usually people are grateful. This guy? Not so much. 3 times Derek saves that ungrateful magic user’s life, and 3 times the ungrateful asshole saved his in return

Here we are two strangers (with nothing but this little spark) - (T, 6k) Summary: Stiles is only at this masquerade party for revenge. Theo Raeken has taken everything from him, and this is the only way he can get close enough to ruin his fucking life. He gets sidetracked by a mysterious stranger who’s looking for revenge of his own. Maybe they can help each other…

I might never be (your knight in shining armor) - (T, 2.9k) Summary: So, in Stiles’ defence, he didn’t actually know that the woman harassing the dude-sel in distress was an actual witch. Or that the dude in question was an Alpha werewolf who claimed to be able to handle himself. Stiles agrees to disagree on that one.

I take this magnetic force of a man (to be my lover) - (T, 6k) Summary: Derek is pretty happy with the mate he’s somehow chosen, even though Stiles has no idea - and no interest in Derek. But that’s fine. Except Peter just has to open his big mouth, because he clearly wants to ruin Derek’s life. Part 2 of Laura Hale is the best Alpha

I’d be a fearless leader (I’d be an Alpha type) - (T, 7.8k) Summary: Most teenagers would run off if they found a bleeding half-wolf, half-lady with red eyes snarling at them. But Stiles’ fight or flight response has always been a little fucked, and Laura Hale looks like she could use a break. Part 1 of Laura Hale is the best Alpha

I’m gonna light a spark (gonna hold my breath until the morning) - (T, 2.5k) Summary: Derek hates the bus, hates how people use it as an excuse to sit close to him and bat their eyelashes at him. And then this stranger who smells like home just falls asleep on his lap.

Lie under different stars (I’ve not seen you in the flesh for so long) - (T, 3,4k) Summary: In which Laura Hale is a queen of holding on to childhood mementos and seeing things her brother won’t, and Derek Hale rediscovers his love of Mischief.

The man who’s gonna marry you (make you feel alive) - (T, 4.2k) Summary: Only Finstock could marry the wrong people. Only Greenberg could fill out the papers wrong, but Finstock didn’t even check. It was like he wanted Stiles to be married to Derek Hale. And no one would want that, except maybe… Stiles.

No more dark sad lonely (k)nights - (T, 2k) Summary: Derek is an Alpha without an emissary, so his nosy betas made sure he attended the convention. Stiles is clearly in the wrong convention hall, because his Batman cosplay does not appear to be going over well.

Old you in the garbage (new you in display case) - (T, 13.4k) Summary: Stiles is lonely and desperate and suffering from a crush on the grumpiest librarian. So what’s a boy to do but cook up a ridiculous plan to get himself dated and/or finally get laid before the holidays? He just wants his She’s All That moment, okay? He never expected that the plan would actually help him get the guy.

Real life isn’t a movie (life doesn’t make narrative sense) - (M, 11.6k) Summary: Somehow accidentally insulting a hot guy in a coffee shop leads to pretending to be his boyfriend in front of a house full of werewolves. Stiles Stilinski is living his best life and making the most of his Hallmark movie moment.

Shoot your shot when you see em (he’s already in my DMs) - (T, 3.9k) Summary: Derek may or may not be falling in love with one of Laura’s employees, and he’s only ever spoken to him on the phone. Stiles doesn’t even know his name! But apparently, he does know how to slide into his DMs. Part 2 of Slide into those DMs

Some Cupid kills with arrows (some with mistletoe) - (T, 9.5k) Summary: It’s the same thing every time. Derek Hale comes home, the town is in a snit, and Stiles Stilinski polishes his metaphorical armor and gets ready for a battle of wits. Not that he considers Derek’s comments particularly witty. Their friends are just tired of the sexual tension and the rampant egos, and they’re ready to do something about it.

Such great heights (corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces) - (T, 3.3k) Summary: In which everyone in the pack is together and alive, because fuck canon. In which Stiles is surprised that Derek’s super hearing fails him. He just wants to know how tall Derek is, why is that such a big deal?

Teach me how to thrive (i was a loser just like you) - (T, 4.9k) Summary: Scott was cool now - the Squip had made sure of that. Stiles? Not so cool. All he has left are his cryptic conversations with perpetually wasted Derek Hale as he desperately tries to get an evil computer chip from taking over Beacon Hills.

We were young once (innocent and fun once) - (T, 5,3k) Summary: So maybe making Lydia jealous is just an excuse for him to finally talk to Derek Hale - it’s been ten years and clearly that high school crush is not over. There’s just a lot more to Derek than he was expecting.

We’ll put on a show (Scotty has to know) - (T, 7.7k) Summary: Stiles is a stubborn asshole, determined to have fun in Europe even though Scott stays behind in Belgium because of a girl. So asking a stranger to make out with him for the ‘Gram? Totally the best decision he’s ever made, and not just because that’ll totally show Jackson (and Scott!). Shame he won’t see the guy again, though.

What it looks like to forget (it’s easier that way) - (T, 4.9k) Summary: He has no idea who he is, but the stranger with the whiskey eyes is calling him Derek. And the guy has been sitting at his bedside for three days, so he’s got some credit. Especially because the guy smells like he should be his - though that is a supremely weird thought that he probably needs to figure out first.

You want forgiveness (I’ll give that to you) - (T, 2.8k) Summary: Derek is running from the Alpha, suffering from wolfsbane poisoning and he’s clearly losing it. Why else would he be seeing his mother - and everyone else he might as well have killed himself. But Stiles can’t just let him get what he deserves. Stiles never leaves him behind, even when he should.

You’re moving me around you (I said darling hold me) - (T, 14,5k) Summary: Derek is the only beta in a pack of two, blaming himself for the loss of their entire family. When his sister pays someone to get him used to human contact again, Derek preps himself for a couple unwilling handshakes before he kicks the stranger out of his den. Stiles is… not what Derek expected.

James wiped the grease from his hands and went to answer his office phone which was ringing off the hook the past two minutes. The rag dropped onto a stack of paper and he slid his fingers underneath the receiver. "Harrington Auto Shop," he spoke as he sat down. He wanted to groan because it felt good to give his feet and back a rest. "Oh. Yeah. Been busy," he said into the phone. "No," he kept going," He felt like sparking a cigarette but after El told him about the babies he made a conscious effort to not smoke. "Things are fine, man. I'll come by the bar later this week. Alright?" He hung up his phone right when Ella's car pulled up. He wanted to give it an oil change. James sat there for a moment. His friend knew something was up and James didn't want to tell him, or anyone, what Ella shared with him. But Chuck always had a way of uncovering the truth.

Carefully getting in to the BMW Ella drove it down to James' garage noting how much smaller the car seemed as she grew bigger and bigger. On the way she stopped for two ice coffees for them as it was a warm day. When she pulled in she cut the engine and got out, coffees in hand. It was a good thing James stopped drinking when he did because the eye roll which followed her name choice would have caused him to sputter. He held the cup between his knees and looked down at it, pinching the straw to move up and down. "I know that wasn't your intention, baby. But you've got to understand you're my woman. I'm going to get into these moods where I want to protect you. Even when it comes to things that have happened." He let go of the straw and set the drink down beside him to take hold of her, unable to bring her in fully due to her bump. "Don't worry. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." He wanted to promise he wouldn't do anything stupid but he wasn't sure he could.

Ella knew that being open with James would upset him and that had been part of the big struggle of how and when to tell him but now everything was out and she had no idea what he would do with this information. Nodding, she sipped on her coffee and let James pull her in more. His words bringing her more security than he realized as they still waited the results for the paternity test they took. Something felt unsettled and she couldn't put her finger on it.

"That's if you still want to after the babies are here and you see how much I suck as a parent." James had to laugh at himself with this.

James gave her a look and he laughed. By God did he laugh. "You do know our kids are coming out knowing all the bad words, right? They probably hear enough of it already." The kicking stopped almost as soon as it started but he didn't move his hand. He could still feel a trace of it against his palm. "Bubbles? Ella couldn't help but laugh harder,"I don't know what you're talking about." She teased before nodding,"Yeah exactly. It feels pretty cool. I like that it lets me know they're doing okay in there." Ella gave a happy sigh at his kiss,"Well, I like the one where the new construction house would be but it's a little far from downtown if I decide to go back to work." That reminded her of something but she shelved the thought for later. "Your house is cute but it's not big enough and my house just isn't kid friendly. I think we really need to consider building and that way we can customize it however we want too."

"That's all it takes? I thought they'd need more time than that." He swore the house down the way from here took twice that amount of time. Either someone was slacking or they got a good set of builders at he place Ella was eyeing. He wouldn't put it past her to find the nicest place to live in. "It is. He hated how Peter treated her and there was that ever-present anger associated with him, but James did what he could to move past it. Moving around to sit in his chair after he kissed her, she nodded, "I like them, I think I'd be a good fit. Taking a pay cut but." She shrugged. "I think it's worth it." Ella played aimlessly with the arm of the chair,"I haven't even told Peter I'm looking for a new job. I don't know how that's going to go when I give him my notice." The thought made her so uneasy but she tried not to let it show on her face. "Well I can always pay for it up front and we can sort out the rest after your house sells so we don't have to wait around?" She offered. But feeling that same fear about once the twins were here was something very real to Ella too. "Baby, I haven't even changed a diaper. Not one. Ever. I think we should sign up for those birthing classes they talked about ... I bet they'd help us feel more confident and the next course starts in two weeks. You in?"

Ella laughed at his tshirt design and then harder at Theo,"Oh my God you two." But she sobered a bit at the thought of telling Peter. "I want you to be there - not in the room, but close." She wanted the security of him around, not that she thought Peter would go after her again while she was pregnant. Though she wondered if James could be close to where Peter was without issue. She tried to sort that in her head but couldn't. Ella looked up at him with a soft smile,"look at us making big decisions. I'll get in touch with the contractor soon then and call the Lamaze instructor and tell her that we're in."

James moved from the desk and walked to the door to open and check on Theo, who was in his own world. He finished with Ella's car and went on to another project. The guy was fine on his own and James closed the door. "I'll be there. I want to make sure he doesn't say or do anything to hurt you or our kids." He'd more than likely be on the other side of the door listening in, not giving a shit if people think that's overly protective. If they knew the type of man they worked for they would think he was doing the right thing. Hell they probably did and didn't speak up. "So. What is that now, with all the new things going on. The babies. Selling our places. Buying a house. The move. Lamaze classes. You leaving work and starting at a new firm after maternity leave." He whistled and shook his head. James grabbed a chair and brought it over to place in front of El, reaching over to grab the arms of his office chair to roll her close. "So I'm like the invisible body guard?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. He wanted Peter to know he was there. He wanted the man to sweat. Still why would he? He didn't know James' past or the fights he'd get into. He was a total stranger to him. "You're right. With a man like him he needs to feel as if he has the upper hand." James knew the type. He and Brandi weren't compatible and they had a few colorful arguments due to how they just didn't sync. They were fine as friends but even that was strained at times. Especially now. James watched her as she walked away, eyes on Ella's ass the whole time before she rounded the car and went right to the driver's side door. He gave her a wave and watched until she pulled out completely. When it was only him and Theo left he said, "Let's call it an early day. Wrap up what you're doing and get back to it tomorrow morning." James returned to his office and shut down his computer and grabbed his keys. He tossed their coffees in the trash and went out the garage door; where Theo was waiting. They said their goodbyes, and James stuck around to make sure everything was locked tight before he headed to the store to buy what was needed for the barbque, plus the other items Ella's been craving.
