Louis, 100 years later: My goal in this interview is to be honest with you and present a nuanced portrait of a complicated situation. I want to be clear, so I’m going to share something very important: Antoinette had a flat ass, and it’s not me who said so. A third party specifically pointed that out. It’s crucial that you know how flat her ass was, so you can have the full context of what happened. I hope you’re writing this down. Your readers should know.
"Wait, there are books where people have sex with vampires? And people think that's hot?" my fiancé says, illustrating the significant difference in our genre preferences.
a lot of gankutsuou interviews emerged out of nowhere on youtube (i'm assuming it's because of its 19th anniversary?) and i'm so obsessed with the way mahiro maeda promotes his own anime. that's exactly how i try to convince my friends to watch my favorite works:
"i made it gay because i wanted to" - the powerful ambition to make his dream fanfiction of a 19th century novel a reality... goals!

We’re kicking off discussion of Episode 4 with two questions:
Unlike Louis, Claudia never gets a pitch about becoming a vampire or even a choice. What does vampirism offer Claudia, if anything?
How does Claudia joining Lestat and Louis’ family affect or change them, separately and also as a couple?
My favorite outfit in episode three was Claudia's beautiful light pink birthday dress. This is the most reminiscent of the times, the 1920s, with the signature drop waist, straight hem, and flowing sleeves. The crown on top was a perfect touch fit for the birthday girl. I love that this look incorporated the style most women wore, while also using the pink and crown to showcase her youth.
