Me, reading before bed: I don't think I know how to recognize what it feels like "put my heart into" things because I struggle to recognize most positive emotions since I dissociate so much by default and kind of just passively exist in life. Passivity is my default state and it blocks me from experiencing and feeling things.

Great news! VRAINS World is coming to Duel Links September 28th! And it has Playmaker & Ai together as a character, like Yuma & Astral! Since most worlds take the lace after the shows’ conclusions, that means Yusaku found his aibou! 😭

Yeah I'm actually really excited. Like really REALLY excited. ❤️ I can't get enough for the GX world and the sweet wonderful Judai so I imagine VRAINS world will captivate me as well... Once I get the hang of Link summon that is. 😅

ooh sure and thanks for asking! my journey started a little over a year ago, when i realized i wanted to actively understand the (sub-less) bsd stage plays and the new manga chapters - little did i know the picky watcher in me would be consuming lots of different jp content after bsd...

personally i've always loved venturing into unknown language territory, so when bsd and the need for MORE bsd happened i took learning jp as a new challenge! *insert overconfident sunglasses emoji*

as to how... well. i was lucky enough to stumble upon wanikani right away, then a few yt channels with neatly explained grammar made me realise it's not as hard as i thought! the fact that i was finding new interests in the meanwhile served as both the means and the purpose of it all. anime, shows, even jpop lately - which is a shocker bc i never really cared about artists before - there's just... this innate quality to jp media that makes it so, SO enjoyable that i find myself wanting to learn more because i don't want to miss out on the fun. even if there are subtitles or translations, it's always best to know the original meaning :D also. i love kanji.

right now i'm still using wk along with marumori, but more often than not i just look up words or grammar points that i don't understand (oh and. i listen to and watch almost exclusively jp stuff. the Phase got me good). hopefully i'll get to n3 level soon but there's still plenty to learn 👀

he's mostly known for the book covers but he also designed the covers of the enciclopedia catalana and some REALLY cool covers for Serra d'Or which is a magazine that promoted pro-catalan and pro-democracy sentiments under franco's regime but which for some reason i can't find anywhere on the internet and i was trying not to take pictures of everything like i usually do in art museums but to enjoy the art so i don't have any of my own lol

this is the only cover i could find online but the ones in the exhibition i remember them being more colorful and with some very daring headlines considering the subject matter and the political situation
