i had the wildest fucking dream last night. Tfw your friend group goes to a maze, it's really boring, decides to have an orgy instead, and then after tries to leave the maze but the maze is now really mad and wants to kill you so the rest of it is like a slasher horror where the "slasher" is a building that can only move in certain ways moving at the right time to kill you super gorily and super dead

#red rambles #it was GREAT #most of the time the machines wouldn't kill you if you were like... smart about it so you could avoid getting killed if you didn't touch #anything sharp and were very careful about avoiding getting in the lines of motion of anything that moved #but we had to go through these big cement gates that slammed open and shut really fast and you had to trigger them open and hope they #didn't shut on you. and right at the znd before i woke up the structure decided we were doing a little too well and started getting reall #vicious. cutting people off between the doors or trying to catch thzm #picking us off like flies. not me tho i just said no thank you i am in charge and casually scooted myself out of danger with my 'person who #is dreaming' powers lmao #right before I woke up there were only three of us left and ? i think one was wildrider. like the stunticon. not sure why #anyway he gets cut off during this awful climb through a pathway lined with razors you can't stumble on or you die (harder now because #like there's bodies in the way) #he gets cut off between doors and gets pulled out into some sort of turned-off machinery somehow which implies someone started like #physically coming after us. we couldn't see much but we could hear the struggle #then i'm pretty sure they killed him by shoving him facefirst against a spinning wheel or something #idk there was a lot of blood and a LOT of screaming and also the machine turned on. we like did sort of try to get the door back open but #for the most part we just kikd of went 'oh no' #anyway then i woke up but i'm curious if when it got down to just me if things would've changed #it was a really fun dream fr

I'm doing an extended edition marathon of the Lord of the Rings trilogy today in honor of it being the 20th anniversary of Return of the King. It's the only film I ever saw four times in theaters*, though the entire series still holds a very special place in my heart. I've gone through my reblog drafts and tried to schedule all the relevant posts to queue throughout the day as part of my celebration lmao (and to help 'clean house'). Since it's a full day affair, and I've invited my circle of friends and family to join me when they can for however long they can, I have: baked some bread and will also bake some brie with honey, got small tomatoes and other cheeses and rashers of bacon and sausages, made potatoes boiled, mashed, and in a stew I'll start when I wake up, and bought some local ale and mead to wash it all down.

Not to send an essay in ur inbox but LITERALLY. I've seen ppl complain that genshin is too grindy and it's like. You people would NOT survive playing sky: children of the light. Genshin has a lot of grinding and farming but at least you get noticeable progress from it!! In sky you spend 2 hours farming for 15 candles and then if u don't have any friends to hang out with u just kind of. Log off. But you can't Not do those 2 hours of farming because then you won't be able to get the 16 new cosmetics tgc introduced at once that all cost 200 candles. At least 2 hours of playing genshin gets you well into the story, or artifacts or primogems or SOMETHING worthwhile. Probably should've just made this a post this is long sorry abdhdbfjxbd I just. Have a lot of feelings about the fact that gambling: the game is less horrid to be invested in than sky: children of the light which is supposed to be this fun cute lighthearted experience. Idk. We literally do not know each other sorry for this abdjdnjd

look at my first post on this blog's fucking date. I've been playing since android release and stopped around Shattering getting into beta, this is my sky side-blog. I know Sky's draining on players. 2 years of sky fucked me up.

I grinded daily in sky. it fucking slaughtered me. I still have muscle memory of HF and VoT candle runs.

I don't play sky often anymore for a fucking reason; no one I'm close to plays, it's actually draining and stressing.

I was ftp other than maybe 2-3 seasonal passes on sky. I basically did crs daily for months when possible in 2020-2021, and got fucked over.

You may have a better experience in Sky than Genshin (if you played it), but Genshin is actually better for my mental health long term. I can drop it without worry, and I only play for fun with less worry of "I'm not going to be able to get something I want!" or "shit I'm low on candles". and don't even get me started on the winged lights that only got worse and worse.

I dislike gambling as well, but I don't spend money on Genshin, and quite honestly? I get more from Genshin than Sky ever did for me, which yeah, fucking sucks, but I hate grinding and I can bullshit my way through genshin without constantly gambling. Tbh bud, if TGC found a way to get people gambling, they would. They are not above that as a game company.

Why do you think all of the IAP are so fucking expensive for what it is, even when not collabs? Sky is not a moral game on ethics to it's making either. TGC have ignored the fact they need to pay artist and sweep so many things under the rug from players to try and keep people distracted they always will.

two different times in middle school a (undiagnosed autistic) guy gave me a stuffed animal to profess his undying love and my friends were all like ew no he's weird don't take it but i had such a weakness for stuffed animals that i didn't care if it smelled like cigarette smoke and came with a guy following me to class for two months. in hindsight i do not regret these decisions.

other day i was like "yeah virtually all my dreams are defined by anxiety / every goal/hope being Thwarted, but at least i never really have nightmares" but it's like well what's the baseline what's the reaction, b/c i also then have to be like "but does it count if yeah i had a fairly typical dream sequence that was like, 'uh oh, i'm on The Horrors Street and the monster is probably after me, which i'm staving off by hand but it's kind of difficult b/c it can dissolve its own corporeal form in a somewhat gory manner as it tries to gnash at My corporeal form' but i was like 'i mean this is some bullshit but typical tuesday' level reaction so it wasn't a big deal?" like i don't even know when In Real Life it's also typical to have stress reactions like, just now going "smh obviously this sucks. i know i'm stressed. i know this is unpleasant bullshit & somewhat alarming. but typical tuesday (on a thursday)" and only due to noting some physical tremors is it like oh right i guess i'm also having an adrenal response. i tend to bring the like "smoke grenade! disassociation!!" response to a dream in that i can kind of Respond to it by withdrawing / distancing myself, sometimes even like [pushing things into being: as though it's a video game. pausing, exiting, etc] & like it's My psyche & it's brief sequences melding into each other anyways so okay, we'll pivot. other times it's just like yeah this is bullshit but shrug guess we're doing this, until it pivots anyways. ★ JUNGWON:

He's a leader, he's got a lot on his plate but he's also great at controlling himself. people won't suspect a thing when he stands next to you because he stands like 🚹. At shows or encore stages, he'll stand behind you (pretends he's doing that because he's soo tall he blocks everyone) and keeps poking you and you have to maintain your expression. Other idols around you know something is up but they don't know what is. He's treading the line between platonic and romantic love.
