Can someone explain to me (I'm stupid): are we supposed to know what's going on in the "First Meeting" Nomad's video? Are we supposed to know who are these people and who's the listener?

I haven't been watching the videos lately, since they were all M4F and didn't seem connected to any of the other storylines so now I'm awfully confused.

(They mention Dragoci (Ivan/Deacon?), I think, but that's not exactly helping.)

Also, I'm finally listening to Deacon's first audio (the M4F one) and he says he's four hundred and fifty years old. Which means that when Ivan the Terrible died, Ivan Dragoci was thirteen years old in a neighbouring country. The hunter becomes the hunted. By one of the biggest hyperfixations of my life.
