Do you find it hard to forgive? Or you're a kind of forgiving person? No matter how they wronged you, hurt you and talk bad about you, you don't dwell on that and choose to forgive always? let's read Matthew 18:21-22

[21]Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

[22]Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Do you see how forgiving our Lord is? not just seven times we should forgive but seventy times, that might sound too much but that's nothing to how much God forgives us everyday as we sin, everyday we hurt Him, our sin is too many to count but God loves us so much He keeps forgiving us, when you sin, repent in Jesus name. He's always there waiting for you to call him again,and come back to Him. Let's continue to read the parable of the unmerciful servant. Matthew 18:24-35

It is about a servant who is unable to pay a large amount of debt to the master, so the master ordered for everything the servant's have including his wife and children to be sold of so the servant fell to his knees and said. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ the servant's master took pity on him and let him go free from debt, when the servant left he also saw someone who owes him a large amount of debt , he aggressively approached his fellow servant, his fellow servant also said 'Be patient with me, and I will pay it back' but it was ignored and the fellow servant was thrown to the jail, the other servant who witnessed told the master's servant about everything and the master was fuming mad and called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

[35]“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

We should be forgiving just as God forgives us everyday, we should not let bad feelings dwell in our heart, for like the master in the parable, we do not want God to treat us the same way the master gives punishment to the servant. We should be full of thankfulness and put in our heart the wisdom and faithfulness to continue following His words.
