Alors qu'Avatar: The Way of Water fait ses débuts internationaux, les fans se sont familiarisés avec une étoile montante qui figurait dans un camée souvent négligé de Avengers: Fin de partie dans le MCU.
Avatar 2 a ramené les fans dans le vaste monde de Pandora de James Cameron pour la première fois en 13 ans, plongeant dans une nouvelle aventure derrière Jake Sully de Sam Worthington et Neytiri de Zoe Saldaña. Alors que ce film aide Champion à avoir un moment d'évasion à Hollywood, il a également été vu pendant un bref instant dans le deuxième film le plus rentable de tous les temps, Avengers: Fin de partie de Marvel Studios.
Champion a joué le jeune garçon qui est passé à vélo devant Scott Lang de Paul Rudd juste après qu'Ant-Man se soit échappé du royaume quantique, descendant la rue et envoyant un regard effrayant dans la direction de Rudd. Faire partie de Avengers: Fin de partie sous quelque forme que ce soit a été une expérience qui a changé la vie de toutes les personnes impliquées, car il est devenu l'événement culminant de la saga Infinity et, pendant un certain temps, le film le plus rentable jamais réalisé. Avatar is one of the most financially successful movies of all time, but in the 12-plus years since James Cameron’s sci-fi epic came out, it’s become something of a pop cultural punchline due to the endless delays around the ever-increasing sequels promised by its visionary/madman director. In the meantime, the $2 billion grossing story of Jake Sully and the Na’vi began to feel like something of a 3D IMAX fever dream. That is, until now.Concrete details about the second film were finally revealed yesterday at Las Vegas’ movie theater owner expo CinemaCon. The official name of the sequel, which will hit theaters December 16, is Avatar: The Way of Water. According to Variety, the trailer screened was in 3D, with minimal dialogue and primarily focused on shots of the cerulean Pandora and its residents, as well as indigenous flora and fauna. The trailer will play ahead of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in theaters this May before an official online release.The sequel follows Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), as well as their children, and reportedly takes place 10 years after the first film. It will introduce a new group of Na’vi called the Metkayina, who are closely connected to the water. Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver are both set to return, and big name newcomers to the franchise include Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, and Kate Winslet. Much of the movie will take place underwater , and Cameron has reportedly gone to great lengths to bring cutting edge technology to these scenes beneath the sea.In a December 2021 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cameron spoke about the production and how he had to convince those around him to shoot it his way. “My colleagues within the production really lobbied heavily for us to do it 'dry for wet,' hanging people on wires. I said, 'It's not going to work. It's not going to look real.' I even let them run a test, where we captured dry for wet, and then we captured in water, a crude level of our in-water capture. And it wasn't even close,” he said.The first Avatar thrived as the kind of must-see-in-theaters movie that feels increasingly rare nowadays. Producer Jon Landau spoke at CinemaCon about the goal of getting fans back to the movies with the promise of Avatar 2. “We need to make sure [audiences] have an experience they can’t get anywhere else, and that needs to be exclusively in theaters,” he said.Disney will also re-release the first film on September 23. Three (3!) additional sequels are slated for December 2024, 2026, and 2028. By the time we get the final installment in the Avatar franchise, humanity might just be looking for a Pandora of its own.

She won the Academy Award for Best Actress and BAFTA Award for her role as a Nazi camp guard in The Reader.
Winslet and Cameron have known each other for more than 20 years. After creating an epic love story, Titanic, Cameron created another amazing movie Avatar in 2009. It was a science fiction movie starring Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang. The movie is set in the 22nd Century revolves around humans colonizing Pandora.
Cameron wrote an 80-page script of Avatar in 1994. The film was supposed to take place just after completing the Titanic, that is, in 1999. However, the director did not have the necessary equipment for the shooting to achieve the vision he had about the film. The first film of the franchise was estimated at $237 million and was released on 10 December 2009.
The film was considered a breakthrough in the world of CGI. The second film Avatar 2, will take off where the previous movie ended. After more than ten years, now the lead character Neytiri and Sully have a family on Pandora and face an old threat.
Kate Winslet will be working with the Avatar franchise for the first time. She joined the cast, especially because of the involvement of Cameron. Recently, in an interview with Collider, Winslet shared about the different working styles Cameron. She talked about her experience working with the filmmaker after reuniting for the project. She said they both are older. When she looks back on the experience of creating Titanic, the movie was difficult. The shooting of Titanic is very stressful; however, James Cameron on Avatar is much calmer. The actress added that Cameron has stepped into his true self, and that is because of the experience. And since he has done Avatar before, he knows the world and the characters. There is a level of confidence in his work while working for the film.
The Oscar-winner also recalled the shooting time during Titanic. It required six-day every week for seven and a half months of the shoot. And almost four and a half months for the shoot of the night sequence. So filming Titanic was very stressful for the cast and the crew (the film received 14 Academy Awards nominations and won 11 out of them). Winslet said Cameron has become visibly calmer and created an open space for actors to participate in the process if anything doesn’t fit right into the scene.
Both the film Avatar 2 and Titanic involve shooting under the water. Winslet learned to hold the breath for seven minutes, and she has filmed many scenes underwater. The actress found the whole thing about the shoot very calming. Kate is very excited for the movie to release, and fans can expect to see the most speculated film Avatar 2, on 16 December 2022 in theatres.

In a recent interview with his old collaborator Arnold Schwarzenegger helped to promote the Austrian world Summit environmental conference, Cameron revealed that despite the various delays he had finished the shooting of all the live-action of the four sequels. He said: Wel, COVID hit them like it hit everybody… They lost about four and a half months of production. As a result of that, they have rolled around one more full year of release in December 2022. Now that does not mean he has an extra year to finish the movie, because the day they will finish delivering Avatar 2, they have to work on the next project Avatar 3.
