A picture of my desk and the bookshelf beside it because I finally cleaned it! I took everything off of my desk and gave it a good scrub. I took everything off of my bookshelf, gave that a good scrub and (!!!) I went through stationary to throw stuff away and was able to make room!!!

It feels so good to have cleaned it all and to allow myself to just relax right after. Grateful that I had time to clean, listen to an audiobook and sometimes think. Grateful to scrub it all away and start anew.

I think I’m one step closer to achieving my dream desk space.

I recently invested in a monitor because I’ve always wanted a dual screen system. I also finally bought a wireless keyboard that I can use with both my laptop and iPad. The keyboard in the picture is my mom’s keyboard that she brought home from work because WFH, it worked for a while but I got very tired of the wires. I definitely need to find a wire hiding/mangaement solution, because there’s just a ton of wires under my desk.

For now, I’m very happy with my layout. Sure I’d like my desk to be centred under my window or even just a little longer, but considering the space I’ve been given and the desk itself, I am slowly but surely getting a this desk space to be my dream desk space that works for me.

i just got the confirmation that they couldn’t find a way to put my microbio lab online so they cancelled my whole microbio class

I’m kinda really upset about it because i was so close to being done my degree, i just needed this class. now I’m gonna have to wait another 4 months and now i’ve got no classes and nothing to do now.

today i sent an email to my prof without a subject and with the wrong student number attached to my name

then i proceeded to send the exact same email with an apology and the correct info

but the whole time my heart was pounding
