It’s ksoo/jseph again <33 I’m thinking about birthdays (I just think those two would be so domestic) and ok scenario: it’s kyungsoo’s bday and jseph wants to cook for him! But little does kyungsoo know that his partner will be cooking with nothing but an apron on so now he has to stare at jseph’s naked back and ass and can’t do anything about it bc jseph wants to COOK for him god dammit. So Kyungsoo is a culinary student -- he's studious, he's competitive, he's intense. Because of that, he has a hard time dating. He is FOCUSED on the work, really determined to be the absolute best her can be and very rarely making time for anything (or anyone) but school.

There's a restaurant he loves close to his apartment, a trendy place, popular and out of his price range. Whenever he scrapes together enough money, Kyungsoo takes himself out to dinner and ONE FATEFUL NIGHT, he lays on eyes on the gorgeous sous-chef, a guy named J.Seph who has him making heart eyes like an idiot.

Kyungsoo stays camped at his table til the restaurant closes (pissing off his server but he doesn't notice or care) and when he sees J.Seph leave the kitchen again, he very awkwardly attempts to make a move. LUCKILY FOR KYUNGSOO, J.Seph has had a shitty night (the head chef is an asshole) and he's looking to blow off some steam so he immediately gives Kyungsoo his number and says he's going to get a drink after work if he wants to meet him.

He does, of course, and the two meet up at a bar and proceed to get SHITFACED together. Kyungsoo bitches about culinary school, J.Seph bitches about the rest of his kitchen staff, then they go back to J.Seph's apartment so that he can fuck Kyungsoo's brains out. It's the first time either of them have felt relaxed in months and it sparks a bit of an actual romance??? Kyungsoo specifically, the guy who normally can't think about anything but food, is suddenly thinking about this man???? (Cue Kyungsoo spamming his group chat about this guy and J.Seph getting flustered at work for a few days when he keeps remembering moments from their drunken night at his place.)
