I sat next to the protest today.
I wrote fan-fiction about two gay jewish dads raising children to the play list of the chant- "No peace on stolen land!" on an American college campus. It isn't a name brand one either, nor does it have any legitimate ties to Israel. The anger is just there- it has rotten these future doctors, nurses, teachers, and members of society.
I don't even know what to call their demonstration- it was a tizzy of a Jew hatred affair. At points, there were empathetic statements about Gazans and their suffering. Then outright support of Hamas and violent resistance against all colonizers. Then this bizarre fixation on antisemitism while explaining the globalists are behind everything.
"Antisemitism doesn't exist. Not in the modern day," A professor gloated over a microphone in front of the library. "It's a weaponized concept, that's prevents us from getting actual places- ignore anyone who tells you otherwise."
"How can we be antisemitic?" A pasty white girl wearing a red Jordanian keffiyeh gloats five minutes later. "Palestinians are the actual semites."
"there is only one solution!" The crowd of over 50 students and faculty cried, over and over.
"Been there, done that," I thought, then added a reference to a mezuza in the fourth paragraph.
Two other Jewish students passed where I was parked out, hunching and trying to be as innocuous as possible. We laughed together at my predicament, where I am willingly hearing this bullshit and feeling so amused by this.
"Am I crazy? For sitting here?" I asked them. My friends shook their heads.
"We did the same last week- it's an amazing experience, isn't it?”
We all cackled hysterically again. They left to study for finals. Two minutes later, I learned from the current speaker that “Zionism” is behind everything bad in this world.
Forty-five minutes in, a boy I recognized joined me on my lonely bench. He came from a very secular Jewish family and had joined Hillel recently to learn more about his culture. His first Seder was two nights ago.
He sat next to me, heavy like the weight of the world was on his shoulders. There was just this despondent look on his face. I couldn’t describe it anyone else, but just sheer hopelessness personified.
“They hate us. I can’t believe how much they hate us.” He said in greeting.
And for the first time all day, I had no snarky response or glib. All I could do was stare out into the crowd, and sigh.

More JVP Shenanigans
TLDR; JVP's Haggadah was put together by goys and their tax filings show they have no intent to help and/or represent Jews. We all know JVP is the Autism Speaks of the Jewish community. They exploit Jews and try to present themselves as a Jewish organization concerned with systemic discrimination, Palestinian rights, antisemitism, and much more. Hell, you can go look at their core values on their website and a lot of us would agree that these are good things.
JVP uses all that as misdirection. It uses Judaism as set dressing for its own agenda and exploits people’s ignorance. However, if you have just a little bit of knowledge you can tell that JVP is not only exploiting Judaism, but it is an organization that has wholly embraced Jew face and does not know what it’s doing.
Take a look at their Haggadah.
Their Haggadah was clearly put together by goys who didn’t know what they were doing. Many of the translations for their blessings are wrong or were clearly put through google translate. Other blessings are slapdash put together or grabbed from other Seders. Take a look at this blessing:
Baruch atah adonai eloheynu melech ha’olam asher kidshanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu l’hadlik ner shel (Shabbat v’shel) yom tov. Blessed is the spirit of freedom in whose honor we kindle the lights of this holiday, Passover, the season of Freedom.
Do you see the issue? For those who don't know, there is no mention of Passover in the blessing at all. So why is it in the translation? They also didn't include any of the extra words for Shabbat in the translation as well. If you have the patience, go through and read it. It omits the story of Passover, dismisses the importance of the holiday, and just changes the entire thing for their agenda.
“But it’s a Jewish organization, I swear!”
Well let’s look at their tax filing where they as a 501(c)3 have to describe what their organization is and their intent.
Tumblr media
That's weird. A Jewish organization that states it fights against antisemitism and is committed to Jewish communities has nothing on their filing about Judaism or Jews in any capacity. It's mission is regarding education about Palestinians. Some of you might say "what's wrong with that?" There's nothing inherently wrong with that mission statement. What is wrong is that JVP hides its intent, bigotry, and antisemitism behind a veil of Jew face. It claims to be a Jewish organization, but it can't even get basic translations of prayers right. It omits, misleads, and misinforms about our culture, history, and traditions in such a heinous way that it's downright disgraceful. JVP does not represent the Jewish community and at this point it's clear that they're Jewish in name only.

If you were upset by deaths at the Pulse nightclub shooting but not by deaths at the Nova Music Festival, you’re an antisemitic hypocrite.
Not that it should matter because people are people, but, oh hey, look, Pulse shooter Omar Mateen said the mass shooting was his retaliation for a U.S. airstrike that killed, among others, IS militant Abu Waheeb.
Don’t like it when radicals hate governments and use that hate to hurt your community?
Then stop your own radicalization process. Stop hating. Everyone.

saw a quite popular leftist on tiktok say that at pro palestine protests you need to make sure the antisemites stay away from the media to which i say
if there are antisemites at your protest that you’re not making an active effort to get rid of, your protest is antisemitic

I had an ugly thought, but the more I chew it over the more I’m realizing I’m correct
The reason that (white, Western) leftists are so eager to put a time limit on Jewish indigineity is because if you can time it out, then they know they can wait out having to contend with 1) what they did to indigenous peoples in the Americas, and 2) what they did to enslaved Africans. If they drag someone off their land and forcibly cut them off from their language and pieces of their culture, they just have to wait and then oops! Too late! Not my problem! Victim of the good ol’ cultural melting pot!
But if Jews are still indigenous and still keep our culture after this long, there’s this looming specter from other corners that they are so, so frightened to contend with
And rather than do the work to untangle all this, it’s just easier to lash out at us and revise history
I’m so tired of being their scapegoat

One of the Columbia Encampment Leaders on video being antisemitic
Going back to Columbia as that's the big story about university encampments atm. One of the leaders of the encampment is on video being antisemitic and not in the throes of protest, but in their dorm/apartment. They filmed themselves and posted it with the following quotes: "Zionists do not deserve to live comfortably and Zionists do not deserve to live."
https://x.com/ShelleyGldschmt/status/1783560978774520255 and “Be glad, be grateful, that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists. I’ve never murdered anyone in my life, and I *hope* to keep it that way."
https://x.com/guypbenson/status/1783643422680592687
(Yes I know this is a right wing pundit, but the video speaks for itself.)
This is the leadership for the encampment, this is the leadership for the protests on Columbia campus, this is the message they are spreading. Hiding behind the term "Zionist" is not fooling anyone at this point of the conflict. And we know their identity (when you're the face of a movement and posting videos like this it's hard to keep your identity concealed), they're class of 2025, meaning that once again my post about age playing a factor comes into play. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they only want to kill about 75-90% of the Jews out there (and that's a low estimate). But yeah, these are totally peaceful protests. /s

it is so telling that you can’t make a single post about antisemitism without someone accusing you of using it to justify genocide when literally no one brought up israel/palestine
it is SO TELLING that more and more leftists are saying that antisemitism has lost its meaning

The independent bookstore preparing to open in my corner of the Boston area is sharing fundraisers for the idiot Columbia kids on Instagram. The fiber arts group I'm a member of sharing memes about those dirty zionists. The comic artist I support on Patreon is having a whole lot of fun with Holocaust inversion rhetoric. The roar is getting so loud in every single alt-y, arty, left-ish, intellectual scene. I rely on Jewish community, I seek out other Jews to share these interests. But it's impossible to ignore that these are becoming my only options. It's like we're being excommunicated.....from these communities that we've fucking bled for, for decades.
Yes. The institutions and norms of American progressive and artistic life were founded or led or strongly influenced by Jewish creativity and philanthropy, and we are increasingly being purged from them as Palestine settler-colonizes Every. Single. Issue. The 2015 movie "Selma" showed Martin Luther King Jr. meeting with white Christian religious leaders but erased all Jewish involvement, erased Rabbi Heschel. The arts, the museum world, the comics industry, even Hollywood... we built these movements and industries, and we're suddenly not good enough to be included anymore.

What do you do when an old and close friend just wholeheartedly believes every conspiracy, historical revisionism, misinformation, falsehood, and hyperbole about the Israel-Palestine conflict?
And I mean everything
"The Land was always Palestine"? Check
"There was peace before 1948"? Check
Ignores hamas and iran's part in the conflict? Check
"They're building resorts/strip clubs/etc on gaza?" Check
"No Israelis died on Oct 7"? Check
"Exaggeration of the death count not just since the start of the current conflict but also of all the conflicts since 1948 (the number I was given was 800,000)"? Check
"Denial of the historical claim of the Israelis to the land"? Check
"The Jews are meant to be wanders, that's wat "Jew" means" OK I'll admit this is a new one I hadn't heard before (honestly it sounds like just a remix of "rootless cosmopolitan"), but fuck it's so wrong it hurts and I cannot believe she actually buys this
