I want. Four to get appreciation. Because
Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured
The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal
But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff
From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them
So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)
He took care of Epona
Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her
And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance
He took care of Twilight's stuff
He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place
And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.
Also- because of his placement in this scene
I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything
And he did housekeeping!
Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn
Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in
Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn
Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn
Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious
There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future
But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way
Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things
No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?

WARNING: FFVII spoilers + ship talk—scroll if you want to skip, because I am simply commentating my own gaming experience & not trying to start a war in the comments
-
It’s the way I’m DESPERATELY trying to play FFVII with an openness to Cloud and Aerith because I know it means so much to so many people—and yet even when I go to YouTube and watch alt versions of mandatory scenes I cannot fathom how people are missing the subtext of “Aerith knows and acknowledges Tifa is so much more than Cloud’s friend even as she wants his attention because she doesn’t know if he’s really himself, has been extremely lonely since Zack left + knows somewhere she’s going to die for herself” ☠️
Like I am 3000% for FF ships that have a lot of groundwork but aren’t primary canon, because Square is notorious for building true chemistry between people who are not ever canonically romantic (hello Phoenixflare) but…it’s getting kind of absurd to see how many people are denying the subtext of Aerith as secondary to Tifa solely because they love their ship.
Perfect example: the scene where Aerith goes up on the Nebelheim water tower (a place wholly and entirely tied to Cloud and Tifa’s ongoing relatonship) and asks Cloud about his town…only for us to get this:
As someone who just consumes media generally…the whole subtext of the scene is clearly that Aerith trying to 1) pull Cloud’s actual memories up from the mind muck he’s going through (something she and Tifa both do repeatedly) and 2) remind Cloud of the side of him that inherently has always had a whole ass crush on his childhood best friend to help jog his memory.
Sure, it reads as a cute moment between them if you want that…but if you’re paying attention to the purpose of the scene itself and what’s being said (verbally and subtextually)…it’s astronomically clear this is a Cloud x Tifa recognition delivered to the audience through a Cloud/Aerith moment…and this happens repeatedly ☠️
And then…immediately after having her be upset that she doesn’t have someone the way Cloud has Tifa, and asking to be alone? I…I just. Like it’s so hard to be here in the middle of a war about “optional scenes” when shit that happens to everyone happens just like this 😭

i really love peppermint butler because of how they write the undying loyalty he has for bubblegum all while doing his fucked up dark magic stuff on the side... like, he is genuinely intelligent, but a lot of characters like this would typically be wanting to overthrow their leader, or their shenanigans would get in the way of the heroes, or there'd generally be the threat of them truly turning to the dark side as a secret antagonist, but literally none of those things happen with him -- he keeps these aspects of his life separated for the most part, all while he's very concious of bubblegum's dislike of magic, and bubblegum trusts him enough to not snoop on him like with the other candy citizens. when bubblegum is ready to give up her position as princess, she willingly gives it to him simply because he's her most trusted advisor. a big part of peppermint butler's character to me is about this balance and control he keeps over the double life he lives

Favourite Outfits Made For Fics PT.1
Original Post:
https://www.tumblr.com/hoperays-song/726065505478344704/i-know-i-never-have-mentioned-this-except-in-like?source=share
----------------------------------------
Ok! So, I made a post awhile back talking about how I have folders of costume design for characters and if anyone wants to see anything in particular to let me know, and someone asked for any outfits that I'm particularly proud of that I've made for my fics!
I've really been looking forward to this so, I'm gonna show off a few of my favourites in terms of pure design here! These were the ones that were the most fun to design in my opinion, aka, Nooshy's interview outfit and Porsha's new casual clothes!
*Reminder that all of my stuff for fics is placed in the human au so the clothes fit into that too*
----------------------------------------
Nooshy's Interview Outfit:
So one of my favourite headcanons of Nooshy is that she loves bright colours and contrasting patterns and will dress deliberately very mismatched. This causes her clothes to be pretty memorable a lot of the time, even when she's just wearing borrowed clothes from her brother or friends. However, her interview outfit is a time where I really let this shine.
Ok so:
The main attention draw of Nooshy's outfit is a very shiny silver jacket with fringe that matches silver boots that they wear as well.
As for her shirt, it looks like just a purple button up but is actually iridescent fabric, so it looks more magenta-ish in certain lighting and with movement.
The only seemingly plain things of the outfit are black shorts and a plain black choker but the rest of her accessories are neon green and magenta, including their earrings, bracelets, and they changed her laces to be neon green too.
I really like this one because I think it shows Nooshy's very out there and bold personality as well as being one of the most unique, in terms of style, outfits I've ever made.
----------------------------------------
Porsha's New Casual Clothes:
So Porsha's original outfit was very much like her dad's in terms of color scheme and I really wanted to make an outfit that was a bit more colourful like her personality was. I kept a bit of designer clothes in there but I really wanted it to showcase the fact that I headcanon her to be living with Buster and Eddie now, so she's probably not going to be decked head to toe in it anymore.
Ok so:
I am a firm believer in giving these kids jewelry so Porsha is decked out in a gold anklet, chokers, and moon earrings (to honour her connection to Moon Theatre now).
The same is with her sunglasses, I switched the from something very crystal-like to a sun and moon design to show her affiliation with New Moon Theatre.
I wanted to add a jean jacket like she had before but made it much simpler with just a yellow stripe instead of the fancy sleeves of before. The yellow also represents cheerfulness and I wanted to keep that running as a good descriptor of Porsha's character.
The jeans are just plain white because of the tons of detail elsewhere on the outfit, like the desert on the shirt representing Redshore and the stars on her shoes alluding to her role in Out Of This World.
I like this version of Porsha's outfit as it's a lot more colourful yet still more toned down than her original. I think this would be a good way of showing her leaving a life of luxury and showing the importance the show and troupe have come to have for her.

what's your muse's biggest dream? and in return, what's your muses worst nightmare? their best and worst possible ending according to them?
Turo's dream was the future in a sense. He wanted to see TOMORROW in a sense of great advancements and achievements in his lifetime. Lifelike AI, androids and cyborgs amongst organic things, technology that was seamlessly blended into the everyday or systems that can think for themselves for greater output. He was greatly inspired by Heath's work and his own specialty in coding and technology.
His nightmare actually came true already. Failure on a such a grandiose scale and the inability to differentiate reality from work. He wasn't as level headed as he thought he was and his work slowly took the place of where he should've been, with his family and using the work to benefit people. Funny enough that finding tomorrow in a theoretical sense warped into creating a time machine to bring the past and future NOW and then keeping everyone out of the funny pit they would've called paradise for only their family's benefit and the horrors that came from it.
But overall this genuinely is the best possible outcome. Should he and Sada succeeded the paradox Pokemon would've taken over Paldea, both of them would never come out of Area Zero again most likely locking themselves in with Arven and uuuh, yeah, bad end for real.
At least in this ending one parent snapped out of it midway is good...should've done it better though and like...not run off for ten years. But hey! He's uh...back (hopefully he stays on the straight and narrow).
The better reality has both parents alive and realizing they should've stopped with their research after the tera orb project, return to the surface, enjoy their success and accolades for what they did for themselves and Paldea, and raise Arven as a functional family. But that sounds too good to be true sadly.
