History:

Birth/Childhood:

Akara was born to her only parent, Lilith. She was born on October 13th, in the year 1296. Her birth was so difficult considering Award was too stubborn to come. When she was born, Akara looked like she was dead due to her pale skin. Zero's mother Ava was there for the delivery and to help Lilith. Zero ended up meeting her when he was three years of age. Akara and her mother would soon be around the Uzumoto's a lot and would let the children get to know each other. By the time Akara turned three, Zero was six. Akara would watch him train with his father on some days and others would be to learn about magic and witchcraft from her mother. Akara showed early signs of her abilities by the age of three.

During that time, her mother went to make her a demon sword; since it was a custom for demon parents. Akara showed much in her witchcraft abilities and would go on to show the same in swordsmanship, she was able to use some of her witchery with her weapon just like Zero could.

Her childhood was a bit of the unknown after this point. When she turned a year older than Zero turned eight. Both their worlds came crashing when Kratos came. The night when it happens, Lilith became very worried and ended up leaving her daughter with her friends; that were witches. Akara knew that her mother ran because she would have been next on Kratos killing list since she was a part of the Savior’s. She didn’t mind and just let her leave and seek safely. Akara would continue her training with the witches in their home between the ages of five to ten years old.

Pre-teen/Teenage/Young Adult:

When Akara became a pre-teen, her abilities began to show more than when she was younger. She would learn all types of witchcraft skills, including those that she wasn’t able to use herself. Which is good, so she knows what her enemy is using or going to use in a battle against her. She was very good at listening and learning so that it didn’t have to take over five years. When she had time to protect herself from witchcraft, she would train in her swordsmanship. She was able to complete her training by the age of fifteen.

Akara wanted to leave her mother s fellow witches, to which she would. She became a traveling witch and would make medicine to anyone humans or other. She became known as the witch doctor by those she helped. Beyond her travels, she would soon meet Jace first. Jace was a bit different than she expected him to be at first, but she did like him. He was able to get her to laugh at his jokes, when he joked around. It lightens her mood. Both would travel together for a bit longer, soon meeting the other three.

Akara views on Riza was a bit oddly, she judges her on how she flirted with everyone around her. Akara ended up calling her a lust manipulator, to which Riza was annoyed about it. Akara viewed Zash as an older, older brother who was a bit of a father figure for her. When she saw that Zero was with them, she was excited due to the fact of not seeing him for a long time. Zero didn’t even remotely remember Akara for a little bit, but soon realized it was her. Akara was very shocked he didn’t remember her, but then again; they both were so young. Akara and Zero would pretty much catch up more than the others, talking about what their lives were after the incident.

Seeing that he was different from before, she felt bad for him. They all were very agreeable on staying together for a little while and travelling as a group. Akara felt amazing about it since she didn’t have to be alone. They were together for a good while before splitting. The only one that really left was Zero, due to him wanting to be alone. Everyone was a bit fine with it but knew that he left due to no leads knew Kratos.

Adult/Current:

When Akara turned eighteen, she stopped aging. Making her purely immoral like the others. She was still with Zash, Riza, and Jace, living in a home that was on a temporary basis. This was in part due to Zero since he completely disappeared from then, but only Akara and Zash knew where he was.

Zero trusted them more, even if the other two were trustable too. Akara felt the same way she did when her mother disappeared, she couldn't jump in against his choice. They all continue to find leads on Kratos afterwards, including traveling to the whereabouts of it's location. Akara was able to quit after the twentieth lead they've found, they were all met with dead ends. It became clear that if they wanted him, they needs to wait and see if Kratos showed up.

Akara and others made the choice to head for a kingdom, where the last lead was know to be. During this, the festival of the blooming blossoms was happening. They were so fascinated by it, that they joined in for the celebration, while Zash went to find leads.

Zash was able to learn a new lead, it immediately made him go to the others. Akara, Jace, and Riza were told; soon that they then went into combat mood. Zash sent out a messenger for Zero, sending him the information. Kratos was after a human and they had to get to her, before he did. Akara and Jace immediately went straight for the princess. But by the time they got there, kratos had attacked the kingdom.

Akara and Jace was able to get to the princess and her group, forcing Kratos from avenging onwards. Akara had to hold him off until Zero got there. Akara told then to escape, but non wanted to. Sky was very problematic as he started asking her "Who the hell are you?". She was pretty annoyed by this human male. Akara and Jace soon were left to protect the princess as she froze in placed due to Kratos.

While this was happening, Zero got the information and immediately headed there. Akara kept straight, waiting for Kratos to either attack or pull a move; to which he would. Before he could even get closer, Zero appeared before them all. Zash and Riza soon meet up afterwards. After the attack, Zero and them choose to stay. Even if Sky protest against it. If they weren't there, they would all be dead.

Afterwards, the tension between everyone became oddly. Zero and Sky hated each other for different reasons, the rest were pulled into the middle of it. Akara noticed that Sakura was starting to get close to Zero or at least be friendly with him. She would soon speak to her about how Zero would push her away, but that didn't stop Sakura. Akara support her with her feelings and started to like her, they both were polar opposites of each other. Sky on the other hand, didn't like it and would try his darn hardest to stop Sakura for feeling that's at towards Zero. It was like a battlefield with a love triangle in the middle.

Akara ended up catching feelings for Sky, but would soon deny it.

Blood Magic: The user is able use a form of magic that allows them to cast magical spells related to blood.

The user is able to use Blood Magic in two ways: to gain access to (esoteric/mystic/magical) blood-based powers/abilities (E.g., Blood Manipulation) or to cast spells that require or are related to blood (E.g., an astral projection spell or healing spell).

Limitations: The spell can last on O blood for a hour, AB blood for 30 minutes, B blood for 20 minutes, and A blood for 10 minutes. If the user can gain more blood then the amount of each, can make the spell last longer.

Binding: User is able to use supernatural powers/traits that bind, imprison, paralyze and/or otherwise stop targets moving normally and possibly completely freezing them where they were. It can be achieved using various means including energy-based or physical restrains or mental effects.

Freeing: The user can free themselves or others from being bound, chained, shackled, imprisoned, caged, etc. by binding powers whether mental, physical, spiritual, etc., setting oneself/others free from whatever method is being used to bind them, and keep one from being shackled or tethered to something.

Limitations: Some binds may be too strong to break free from. May require concentration. May have to stay close to the bound person to free them.

So I felt like writing today and I was taking a look at my writing folder and like....the number of unfinished stories I have might be getting out of hand. I’ve got:

The three stories that make up my main world. The series is called The Broken Kingdom, and the stories are (in order of past, present, future): The Incidental Queen, The Lost Light, and The Time Lost Savior. This is the one I post pics from occasionally.

Spring - This is the massive GoT fanfic that I’ve been writing. A post s8 fix it fic that I actually have open to reading by the public, which can be found here.

Several World of Warcraft fics that I’m not gonna post the titles of bc I don’t wanna cross the streams between Tumblr and my AO3 account.

Happily Ever After a romance novel essentially about a brilliant physicist who meets a famous actor and falls in love. It is 100% fluffy wish-fulfilment and practice in character writing for me. And in the kind of romance novels I like - where the conflict comes from outside the relationship and it’s them v. the world, not them one v. the other. No breakups. Adult conversation. Fun travel to cool locations bc rich actor. It’s great. The heroine is a black woman because I wanted to write the kind of story that I’d seen a lot of black women asking for - the one where they get to be the treasured princess. She isn’t a literal princess, but she gets treated like one with no hidden terribleness in store for her. The fact that she’s doing a PhD in a field where, according to my research, only 9 black women have ever been awarded a PhD is just icing on the cake. Listen, I have feels about her, ok? Lots of feels. And about him, but like I’m proud of her...he is a great but he was a lot easier to construct for me.

Zombie, a post-apoc story that takes place about 100 years after, well, zombies. A scientist has found a cure after all this time, but to help anyone she has to get from Martha’s Vineyard, MA to the CDC in St. Louis. This shouldn’t be a big deal, as there are safe trains that criss-cross the country. But when someone sabotages her ride, she and her marine escort are thrown into the wilds with the monsters, and now there’s a lot more between her and her destination. She starts a hopeful scientist with no experience in the reality of the nightmare, and he starts as the biggest nihilistic grump ever because he has far too much experience in said reality. Over the journey though they learn and grow and come to value each other.

Immortal - an interview-with-a-vampire style story where the subject of said interview is an alien who was exiled to earth before humanity even evolved. Over the course of several heat-soaked louisiana nights, she tells the story of humans from the perspective of a witness, giving long dead humans their voices once again. She also tells the story of how and why she came to earth, and why she’s so long-lived.

Ghost - A woman dies in a car accident, but instead of passing into the next world, she clings to the husband she left behind. After figuring out how to communicate with him, the two of them are thrown into a whole dangerous world of supernaturals that they didn’t know existed. Hijinks ensue, but it also includes an element of tragedy - after all, how can you move on if the person you love isn’t really gone? Is it better or worse to be able to communicate with them, even if you can’t touch them anymore? Is it really a relationship if the only thing you have together is dreams?

Sunshine - This one is based on a dream I had. Evangeline - Evie, thank you very much - is a cheerful, idealistic demon is beginning her first semester as a teacher at the Academy of Preternatural Excellence. An intra-faculty competition teams her up with an equally sunny, smart angel named Lily (that woman was named after her, not the other way around, and you better not use that woman’s name in her hearing. It’s LILY, not LILITH.), the god Thoth in the form a of quiet, kind librarian, the furie Tisiphone, the wrath demon Aeshma, and Lily’s brother Tamiel, who is a really grumpy, scowly angel. Lily and Evie get on like a house on fire, Thoth’s quiet, understanding composure hides power the rest of them instinctually respect and treat as leadership. Aeshma and Tisiphone are in a centuries-long relationship that seems unbreakable, and together they aren’t anything you’d want to mess with. Evie and Tamiel, well...she’s too sunny and he’s too dour, but over time they find a way to compliment one another. As the semester grinds on, a threat from outside the school puts pressure on the team. And once Evie explodes...well, there’s no stopping her. This one is funny and I really enjoy these characters. I liked the idea of a sunny, idealistic demon and a grumpy, mean angel interacting.

The Eshaar - I can’t really give a synopsis of this one bc I yoinked some of the plot points for the D&D game I DM and I have a couple of my players following me, but basically the world in question has seven different species of humanoids on it, with complicated inter and intra species politics. The story centers around one scientist, a member of a species called the Eshaar, re-discovering the history of her people and the planet, and the corruption that is once again threatening her world.

The Season - This is a mixed superhero/horror story that I started way back in 2005 (at the time I was living in FL and this was the hurricane season that spawned Katrina.). A series of cat 5 hurricanes devastate the east coast of the US in more ways than one. The storms carried a virus, and everyone living on the coast was exposed. Most became mindless beasts similar to zombies, but others? Others gained superhero-ish powers. Once the storms have passed, the US erects a wall between the devastated areas and the rest of the country. It’s an unseen wall made from sophisticated technology, stretching far into the thermosphere. It keeps both the virus and the monsters it created out of the rest of the country, but trapped the survivors on the other side. The problem is that all of the major east coast cities are on the viral side of the wall, so the rest of the country still depends on trade through the wall. The story follows a superhero team as they come together and try to eek out a living, and eventually establish a new order on their side of the wall and incite a revolution.

Dawn - An alien anthropologist is sent to earth on a routine monitoring mission to check in on the species that was seeded there by her people several generations previous. On reaching earth, a malfunction keeps her in cryosleep, her ship cloaked and orbiting the planet. Thousands of years pass, until she awakens years after the rise and fall of the humans on Earth. She realizes that everyone and everything she knew back home is gone, and while still coping with this tragedy she is forced to go down to the surface of earth to find fuel for her ship so she can return to her planet and find out what is left of it. While she’s down there, she can’t resist trying to find out what happened to the humans while she was asleep, and if there are any of them left.

Ok well I don’t expect that anyone read all of that but the point is that I can’t choose so I wrote a list instead, lol.

3x20...I have only three questions. The first one: How are I and all of us supposed to manage to wait for the next week after this magnificent episode? I didn’t even have the patience to wait for this one! I was at Uni and I just had to watch a couple of reaction videos (muted, but still). Plus, as you can see, I have already fell into Tumblr-rabbit hole and shared some pics.

The second: I know that this was meant to be only season finale. So how the hell can Freeform be such a dick and end this show at this point? There were supposed to come so many amazing storylines after this! And the last one; Am I supposed to stay alive after the next weeks’ two hour finale and accept that this show will be over in seven days (because I surely won’t)?

At first, I have many things to say about Jordan and Maia-situation that I sure as hell (no pun intented) did not see coming. Not many people like Jordan and it's understandable because of everything he did to Maia. But like Maia said, this is her new reality and she has accepted the past and herself. I always knew that he stole the cure for Maia and it was lovely and poetic that he gave her that chance and sacrificed himself for her, but he did not deserve this. Maia has already more or less lost her family, almost her entire pack, and now Jordan? And she did not even get the chance to say goodbye? It was kind of fitting that his funeral were in front of Jade Wolf. I love Maia’s badassness and am sure that she will be an amazing alpha. But even though I have always said that a happy ending does not always need a soulmate to be included, she would’ve deserved love after everything. And what the heck is the deal with Preator? Just tell me, please. I’m sure it turns out to be just as backstabbing as Clave, and it makes me so angry already. Luke, don’t fall for it!

I imagine this episode was a blessing for Sizzy-fans - but still not enough, since there - still! - was no kiss. If I should connect one couple with the term “slow burn”, this one is the first one that comes to my mind. The way Izzy was worried about Simon and protected him - beautiful.

In my dreams, I hoped either Izzy or Maryse would tell Magnus about the proposal. Once again, they were the whole fandom in this situation. The scene between Maryse and Magnus was everything I hoped for and more. It was so touching that Maryse immediately thought that she had done or said something wrong and showed Magnus her sincere love. Character-developement at its best. Harry killed that scene. He did not even have to say anything in the end: you could just see the bewilderness, sorrow, happiness and hatred for Asmodeus. Give this man Oscar already!

Evil - partly - got what it deserved. Even though I had many things to say about Asmodeus, his savageness towards Lorenzo made me cheer for him. Now Lorenzo’s appearance really reflects his soul! The thought of him as Magnus’ pet brings me a huge amount of satisfaction. The way Magnus said: “Did I forget to say “please”?” implied to their earlier discussion when Magnus went to ask his magic back...savage, like I said. What I liked about that scene was that you could see that a tiny part of Magnus was tempted by that much power, but he was almost instantly a little bit guilty about it. And that scene between him and Asmodeus.. wow. So amazing. Magnus has feared for his whole life that he would end up like his father, and now he finally separated himself from him - both physically and mentally. That is never black and white, since It's his father after all. Something about this scene reminded me of the scene from 2x04 (?) when Magnus sent Camille to Idris. I thought that he would send him to Edom, but the thought of him in eternal limbo is so much better. YES!

You can judge me if you want, but a part of me feels really sad for Jonathan. He had been prisoned and no one really taught him what real love is. He doesn’t know how to show love in the right way. So he really thinks whatever he is doing is not enough. And now, when the rune doesn’t work anymore, the good influence he gained from Clary is gone and he thinks he has lost his princess forever. I am really proud that Clary stayed true to her limits (denying the kiss) and still expressed her support to her brother. I am also partly irritated for the Jace’s words: “You are not Morgernstern.” Yes, she is. Realizing that and accepting also the dark parts in herself has been of the biggest things on her journey. But she is ALSO Fairchild and Fray - she is all of them. If she had gone all the way down to “Oh my god, I would have never…it was all Jonathan and Lilith, they influenced on me”-road, I would have cringed so much. So I am really happy she admitted her responsiblity in this situation. Clace-kiss and love confessions were their best this season.

The fight scenes, especially between Clary and Izzy, were really epic. Stabbing Clary with the soul sword… I had chills for the whole scene! I also loved these little scenes: the sexy bickering between Jonathan and Seelie Queen, Meliorn coming to help (he really didn’t say anything to Izzy, though?), Jace and Alec fighting together, “We are Lightwoods” (which reminds me of “We are Lightwoods, we break the noses and take responsibility for it)… and Aline and Helen! <3 I clapped for that little scene so hard! And Alec’s reaction to that was PURE GOLDEN. He was like a proud, gay big brother, smirking knowingly in the background. I am so pissed that they did not show them making out and Alec finding them, though.

Let me tell you... if Matt and Harry won’t get some awards for this season, I will start a riot. *haha* I don’t even know what to say. A part of me is furious that Magnus had to - once again - sacrifice himself to save everyone (since, like he said: ruling Edom would be his worst nightmare), but those scenes were so beautiful I cannot stay mad. The way Alec interrupted his soulmate with a kiss because he missed him so much…his certainty that everything would be okay, because their love is so strong...his tears and collapsing… </3 And the way Magnus was joking to make everyone feel better... My heart couldn’t take it. Like someone here said, the proposal scene was so Malec. With everything that is going on, the long and lingering promises and kisses would’ve felt out of place. You could still feel their love and connection, maybe even more this way. I was laughing and crying and screaming and cheering and... if you are watching abnormallyadam’s reactions, you could picture some of my reactions quite well. It would’ve been a torture to wait after this episode, but I would’ve taken it with my head held high if we just got another season.

I am not ready for the next week. Not in the slightest. Can I just pretend that this show will go on and on until... forever? I would be all in for that. Shadowhunters forever.
