a/n: this series is a fragment series, which is basically just a ton of clips and you can fill in the holes with whatever you want. There’ll be dates or years specified so it’s not super confusing. This is my first fragment story, even though I write in fragments. It’s confusing, but you’ll see.

Warnings: part of this takes place in the 1800s, mentions of and allusions to $€x, use of ✨colorful✨ language, slavery and abuse (this goes for the whole series)

November 18, 1847, Mystic Falls, the Salvatore estate

“Hi, Maiden.” An 8-year-old Damon said, cradling his newborn sister in his arms. His little brother, Stefan, who had just turned one, was sitting by Damon’s feet, reaching for the baby. Damon looked up at his mother, who smiled kindly at him, despite having just given birth and being exhausted.

Carefully holding Maiden, Damon reached down and picked Stefan up, settling him in his lap before laying Maiden into his arms. Damon held most of Maiden’s weight up, but Stefan was amazed to see her. Maiden’s eyes fluttered and a small yawn came out of her mouth as she looked up curiously at the two older boys. After helping Stefan off the chair, Damon gave Maiden a kiss on her soft forehead before handing her back to their mother.

Giuseppe Salvatore burst in then, complaining about how Damon hadn’t finished his chores. (He’d heard his mother screaming and ran to see what was wrong, abandoning his tasks.)

Lillian sat up then, ready. “Giuseppe, he heard me and came to see what he could do to help. It’s my own fault he’s here.”

“You’re damn right tis, Lillian! Damon, go finish! NOW!” Maiden began crying as Giuseppe yelled. “And, Lillian, shut that baby up!”

“That baby is your daughter, Giuseppe.” Lillian said as calmly as she could.

“Oh, wondrous. Now I have to search high and low for someone to marry her to in seven and ten years’ time!” Lillian was helped up from the bed by her servants as Giuseppe stormed out.

July 7, 1856

Giuseppe had his young daughter’s hand in his, a gorgeous dress adorning her small body in shades of blues and greens. The little girl was merely 8, yet had her father wrapped around her little finger. Her older brother, Damon, was with them, and Giuseppe had ordered Damon and Maiden out to go with him to get one or two more slaves - a new shipment had just come in. He had promised Maiden she could pick them out.

Giuseppe passed Maiden over to Damon, and he lifted her into his arms. Her teenaged brother was strong enough to hold her for quite some time, but he just carried her over the puddles of mud to the building where the slaves were waiting. He set her down as they entered the building.

The slaves were separated by sections into men, women, and children. The seller greeted Giuseppe and Damon heartily and he bowed to Maiden. “Hello, there, Miss Salvatore.”

“Hello, sir.” An innocent smile rested on her face.

“Damon, walk with your sister as she picks.” Damon and Maiden walked down the row and she looked at all the dark faces trying not to look down upon her. She stopped suddenly in front of a young boy, he’s maybe 10. “Damon.”

“Yes, sister?” He tried not to sound upset with her. It was his father he was frustrated with.

“I want that one.” She pointed to the boy.

Damon noticed a woman - maybe 30s - cringe as Maiden pointed to the boy, likely his mother. “Tell Father.”

“Daddy!” Maiden yelled.

“Yes, dear?” Giuseppe turned.

“This one.”

Giuseppe nodded and turned back around to make the deal.

“Come on.” Damon helped the boy off the platform and his mother knelt to hug him one last time, whispering something the Salvatore siblings couldn’t hear.

Maiden continued down the walkway, stopping at a girl about her age. “Daddy!” She yelled again.

“Yes, dear?” The whole exchange again.

With the two kids in tow, Damon and Maiden made their way back to their father. “I did it, Daddy.” She said proudly.

“Good job, Maiden. Damon, take the two out and get them ready to leave. Then help your sister in.”

“Of course, Father.” Damon gritted his teeth before leading the three outside. Soon enough, Giuseppe finished his business deal and the Salvatores were headed home.

Maiden instantly ran to get her other brother, who was in the trees. “Stefan!” She called.

“Yes?”

“Come see the new slaves I picked out!”

9-year-old Stefan was by her side in a moment. “Let me see.”

July 7, 1856

“Maiden picked out two lovely new slaves today.” Father praised Maiden at dinner that night.

Lillian and Damon locked eyes, subtly having a conversation, both too afraid to speak.

"Thank you, Father." Maiden's voice breezed by, attracting the attention of the children working. Even at 8, she was breaking hearts. A certain boy who was born on the plantation was certainly in love with her, and she often sent him smiles, just because she was a kind girl.

It was common among the Salvatore servants to tease him whenever they could, and he would simply roll his eyes before going back to waiting on her hand and foot.

September 23, 1864

“Maiden, you are to marry the brother of Katherine on your 17th birthday.” Giuseppe said as he passed her.

“What?!” She cried.

He turned sharply and marched up to her, striking her across the face, causing her to collapse on the ground. “Do not question me. I am your father, I control you.” He sneered down at her from above as she clasped her cheek.

As soon as Giuseppe turned to leave and was out of sight, Damon was kneeling next to Maiden, still in his Confederate uniform. “Maiden, sister, what’s wrong?”

“Father- he-”

Damon sighed heavily. “Come on, it’s okay, I’ve got you.” He helped her up and into her room.

The girl from oh-so-long ago, when Maiden was 8, was now the servant tasked with helping her. "Oh, dear, Miss Salvatore!" Grace exclaimed, hurrying over.

"She was hit by Father again."

"Oh, Maiden," She lowered her voice as she spoke her lady's name. "You must learn to be quiet!"

"Well, he was being unreasonable." Maiden sat on her bed, Damon falling onto his back dramatically next to her.

"What happened, Miss?" Grace asked while rushing to get a cold cloth for Maiden's cheek.

"He said I'm going to marry Katherine's brother!" Damon sat up at this. "I didn't even realize Katherine had a brother, let alone one my age! And then- Damon, are you okay?"

"Mae, she doesn't have a brother. She has no siblings, at least not any alive."

"So who am I supposed to marry, then?"

"I have no idea."

August 17, 1874, New York City

Maiden walked past a handsome man, but barely gave him a second glance, too busy holding her breath. He backed up, turning around to catch up to her, but she barely heard him - odd for a human.

“Hello, love.” He said in an English accent, catching her arm and attention.

“Sorry, I can’t talk now.” She said without breathing in.

“What are you doing?” He asked, smirking subtly.

“Just out to get a drink. No food at home.” Technically, she was not lying.

“What are you getting for food?”

“Why do you need to know? I’m just going to get a drink. Alone.”

“Ah, well, I do love a bloody drink.” He raised his eyebrows knowingly.

“No, sir, no blood. Just some whiskey.”

“Oh, but I was teasing. Why would I ever think you would drink blood? It’s not like you’re a vam- Oh, do you smell that? The bakery a few blocks that way is pulling blueberry muffins out for tomorrow morning.”

She tilted her head. “Are you-?” Maiden’s question died in her throat.

“Am I what?”

She breathed for the first time.

He’s not human.

“Come with me.” She grabbed his wrist, yanking him into an alley.

“Hello.” He said pleasantly, as if he hadn’t just caused the biggest disturbance to her vampire life.

“Who are you? What are you?”

“If you tell me who you are, and honestly, I will answer all the questions you have.”

She rolled her eyes. “I’m Maiden.”

“Are you really a maiden? And is there a last name?” He took her hand, kissing her knuckles.

“Yes, I’m a maiden, and no, you will not get a last name until you answer my two questions.”

“Kol Mikaelson, I’m an Original vampire. It’s why you didn’t recognize my scent. I doubt you’ve met one of my siblings to know my smell. Last name?” He still hadn’t dropped her hand.

“You’re telling me that the Original vampires, the myths my brother told me, they exist, and somehow, I just managed to meet one of you seven?”

“You’re very lucky.” He said simply. “I answered. Last name?”

Maiden could tell this was the last time he would ask politely.

“Salvatore. Maiden Salvatore is my full name.”

He smiled charmingly. “I have a feeling we’re going to get along stunningly, Miss Salvatore.”

“Are you sure we should be parted by our names? We have to blend in, you know?”

“Why can’t you just compel the humans?” Kol asked with a ‘duh’ tone.

“That’s a lot of work.”

“Are you suggesting what I believe you’re suggesting, darling?”

“I don’t know, what are you suggesting I’m suggesting?”

“I’d suggest you are a genius, Mrs. Mikaelson.”

“Why, thank you, Mr. Mikaelson.”

He offered her his arm and they walked out onto the street again. They headed to get drinks, and he compelled the bartender to allow her to drink in public. They simply conversed, just trying to learn more about each other.

As Maiden was the only woman there, Kol kept his arm around her, simply to keep up the appearance. Kol only looked 18, Maiden at 16, which must have been a bit odd to see.

At the end of the night, only a few men remained, about 12, and Kol distracted the bartender while she compelled the men to go into the back alley and wait for Kol and her. After she finished, she went up behind him and tugged on his arm lightly, playing the part of the quiet wife.

“Must dash. Things to do, right?” Kol asked with a smile, gesturing to Maiden. She smiled slightly, playing the helpless wife part her mother used to play.

They ducked into the alley, immediately attacking the men. Kol got to the last one before Maiden did, blood dripping down his chin as he watched her, ignoring the man dangling from his grip. “Would you like the last one, love?” He asked, smirking as she dropped the snack.

“Sure.” She reached for him.

“Ah.” Kol lifted him out of her reach. “What, are you not going to ask your husband nicely?”

“How about this instead?” She kissed him softly, and he lowered the man as she pulled away.

Maiden ate and looked back up at Kol, who wiped the blood off her chin, licking it off his finger. “They had drugs in their systems. Not as tasty.”

“Is that the aftertaste?”

“Yes, I can’t believe you haven’t noticed yet.”

“I didn’t say I didn’t notice.” Standing up on her tip-toes, she kissed him again.

“KOL! There you are!” At the sound of a girl’s British voice, Mae pulled away to see a girl who looked 17 at the entrance to the alley. “Kol, who is this?” She asked carefully.

“Beks, do not tell them. And this is Maiden.”

“Hello, Maiden. I’m Rebekah Mikaelson, Kol’s sister. Pleasure.”

“Hi.” She reverted back to the shy 15-year-old who was instantly jealous of Katherine when seeing her, now instantly jealous of Rebekah’s glimmering blonde hair. Glancing down, Maiden wiped the last of the blood off her chin.

“So, you’re like us, then? Just.. not Original?”

She nodded, hair falling in front of her face.

“She was only turned a decade ago, she’s a baby.”

“Oh, wow. By who?”

“She told me not to say. Said it was too dangerous for her.”

“Interesting.” Rebekah said before coming to stop in front of her. “You are stunning, how old were you when you turned?”

“16, nearly 17.”

“You are simply gorgeous, we need to go shopping. Blue would look lovely on you.”

“Oh, um, I really have to go, my brother is waiting for me.”

“Your actual brother?” Kol asked.

Maiden nodded. “Both my brothers were turned just before me.”

“Well, I’ll see you again sometime. Brother.”

“Beks, if you tell Nik-” He turned to Maiden. “I will find you later tonight, love, I promise. As soon as I get Beks safe and away from here.”

She nodded again.

“I’ll be there by 3, promise.”

Maiden nodded a final time and sped off into the darkness, away from the two insanely hot Original vampires.

August 22, 1874, New York City, 1:12 am

“Well, imagine what your brothers would do if they found out what I’ve done to the precious, innocent, youngest Salvatore.” Kol smirked, tightening his grasp on Maiden’s waist.

“They’re not going to find out.” She glared at him.

“If you insist, darling.” He pressed another kiss to her lips, traveling down to her neck again.

Antes de nada, ¡gracias por leer! Te encuentras leyendo una búsqueda sobre la familia de herejes de Lillian Salvatore: dos personajes pertenecientes a la séptima temporada de la serie de The Vampire Diaries.

ANTECEDENTES: Durante el último tercio del siglo XIX, Lily Salvatore terminó formando una particular familia de herejes, miembros fugados del aquelarre Géminis, anteriormente brujos sifón y convertidos en híbridos de vampiro. Acompañados de Julian, el gran amor de Lily, fueron vagando por Europa causando estragos, hasta que en el año 1903, la cazadora @RAYNA CRUZ les encontró, encerrando a Julian en la Piedra Fénix y marcando a Beau. El resto de la familia consiguió huir en un barco de Londres a Nueva York, pero en el puerto de llegada fueron interceptados por los Géminis y encerrados en un Mundo Prisión. Allí permanecerían por más de cien años.

ACONTECIMIENTOS EN CRÓNICAS VAMPÍRICAS RPG: Durante el año 2010, un grupo de desconocidos apareció en el Mundo Prisión, y trabajando en equipo, lograron salir de allí coincidiendo con la fiesta de Nochebuena. Durante meses, permanecieron en Mystic Falls hasta conseguir hacerse con la Piedra Fénix, con el propósito de resucitar a Julian. Llegado el 16 de junio de 2011, Valerie trató de impedir dicha resurrección, rebelando la verdad a Lily: estuvo embarazada, y Julian propició que perdiera al bebé. Negándose a creerla, la familia despreció a Valerie antes de devolver a Julian a la vida.

JULIAN

RAZA: vampiro. EDAD: + 475 años. PROFESIÓN: En proceso de convertirse en concejal de Mystic Falls. FACECLAIM: Todd Lasance.

— El gran amor de Lily Salvatore. Carismático y encantador, Julian fue convertido durante los primeros años del siglo XVI. Disfrutó de su vida inmortal y viajó por todo el mundo —pudiendo mencionar Ridley Park, Old Saybrook y Sunbury, entre otros destinos—, cosechando toda clase de amistades gracias a su flamante personalidad, y convirtiendo a muchos vampiros que eventualmente le fueren leales.

— Durante el año 1857, Julian atacó el pequeño pueblo de Saint Malo, Luisiana, enfrentándose particularmente a Vicente Cruz, miembro de la Hermandad de los Cinco y padre de @RAYNA CRUZ. No estando interesado en sufrir la maldición del cazador, utilizó su compulsión para obligar a Rayna a asesinar a su propio padre. Entonces no lo sabía, pero se ganó a una enemiga que dedicaría varias vidas (en el más literal sentido de la palabra), a cazar a criaturas como él.

Ha llegado a cometer ciertos actos ciertamente reprochables por conservar su atención y afecto... como el incidente con @VALERIE TULLE.

— Durante el año 1863, Lillian los envió a él y a Valerie a Mystic Falls, para vigilar a @STEFAN SALVATORE y asegurarse de que estaba bien. Valerie y Stefan vivirían un affair que dejó a la joven bruja embarazada. Julian, consciente de que Lily no querría abandonar Mystic Falls de descubrir que Stefan sería padre, golpeó a Valerie brutalmente para que perdiera al bebé, disfrazando lo ocurrido de un desgraciado evento con delincuentes. Valerie se suicidó con sangre de vampiro en su sistema, convirtiéndose en la primera hereje... y en el primer miembro del pequeño y poderoso ejército de Julian.

— Finalmente, en el año 1903, @RAYNA CRUZ los encontró a él y al resto de su familia, logrando marcar a Beau y asesinándolo a él. Estuvo en la Piedra Fénix sufriendo eterno tormento durante más de cien años, hasta que Lily y el resto de herejes lograron abandonar el Mundo Prisión y devolverle a la vida. Esto sucedió el 16 de junio de 2011.

— Tras cumplir su venganza contra los Géminis en la batalla contra los Viajeros, a quienes se aliaron (con fecha de 31 de enero de 2012), Lily y su familia abandonaron Mystic Falls, estimando que no les quedaba nada de interés en aquel lugar.

— La familia se asentó en Nueva York, desde donde Julian siguió consintiendo a sus herejes, y haciendo de las suyas, quizá comportándose de una manera más imprudente de lo que Lily habría aprobado. La gran ciudad ocultaba por sí sola sus estragos, razón por la que la familia al completo disfrutó de una notable estabilidad. Así fue, al menos, hasta septiembre de 2013: @NORA G. HILDEGARD y @MARY LOUISE MARLOWE pidieron permiso a Lily para marchar de Nueva York y disfrutar la una de la otra, de su vida en pareja. Julian colaboró para convencerla, y ella accedió con una condición: que @ÓSCAR L. PARK marchara con ellas, para cuidarse los unos a los otros, y protegerse.

— Con el paso de las semanas, los miembros de la familia que aún quedaban en Nueva York recibieron unas catastróficas noticias: el clan de vampiros de @A. MARENA DARVOLYA, enemigos suyos desde hace décadas, se hallaban en Mystic Falls, donde las chicas y Oscar ya se habían asentado. Del conflicto derivó una intervención de la Nueva Armería, que secuestró a los herejes. Así pues, Lily, Julian y Malcolm se vieron obligados a regresar al pequeño pueblo de Virginia. Sólo allí, de cara a la Navidad de aquel mismo año, lograron reagrupar a toda la familia, sanos y salvos.

— A pesar de residir en una de las mansiones más lujosas del pueblo (la antigua mansión Mikaelson, nada menos), Julian no sentía el menor interés por asentarse en un pueblo tan pequeño e indiscreto como Mystic Falls. Su perspectiva no habría cambiado de no ser porque, conociendo a adeptos del alcalde, @LOKI N. LANVIK, y hallando ciertas oportunidades de poder y política, Julian decidiera que podría hacerse con el control del pueblo... desde dentro. Así, aprovechando la posición de @NORA G. HILDEGARD como Miss Mystic Falls 2013, Julian ha empezado a relacionarse con figuras relevantes de Mystic Falls, infiltrándose en el Ayuntamiento con un importante objetivo: convertirse en el principal rival de Loki Lanvik en las urnas. ¿Conseguirá Julian convertirse en el nuevo alcalde del pueblo?

— Julian es un PERSONAJE CANON de la serie The Vampire Diaries, de modo que debe ser pedido en la sección correspondiente, así como superar su correspondiente CASTING. BEAU SAUTIER

RAZA: hereje. EDAD: +170 años. PROFESIÓN: Músico. PB SUGERIDO: Lucien Laviscount.

— Beau es un antiguo miembro del aquelarre Géminis que, al igual que sus variopintos hermanos, hubo de abandonar a los suyos tras descubrirse su naturaleza como brujo sifón.

— Durante 1903, mientras la familia huía de Rayna Cruz —hallándose Julian marcado—, Beau fue marcado también. La Espada Fénix le atravesó la garganta, y puesto que las heridas de aquella arma jamás llegan a curar, Beau perdió para siempre su capacidad de hablar.

— Que Beau quedase mudo fue una tragedia mayor, porque el hereje solía gozar de un gran don para la música. Lily solía decir que cantaba como los ángeles.

— Antes de perder el habla, Beau ya solía ser un hombre cauto y de opinión más bien reservada. Su postura solía coincidir siempre más con Malcolm que con Óscar o con sus caóticas hermanas.

— La traición de Valerie le dolió especialmente, pues solía considerarla no sólo una compañera hereje, sino una verdadera amiga. Una parte de él quiso creer su versión de los hechos, pero la influencia de su familia sobre él sigue siendo demasiado poderosa.

— Poco después de la marcha de Nora y Mary Louise, Malcolm llevó a cabo un hechizo de seguimiento, descubriendo que las chicas marcharon solas a Mystic Falls mientras Óscar, quién se comprometiera a cuidar de ellas, tomase un desvío hacia Nueva Orleans. Beau marchó entonces a Nueva Orleans en busca de Óscar.

— Desgraciadamente, poco después de llegar a Nueva Orleans, su marca en la garganta se abrió, lo cual solo podía significar una cosa: Rayna Cruz recuperó sus armas, y tarde o temprano marcharía en su busca. Aterrado y sin saber muy bien qué hacer, Beau decidió esconderse durante semanas para tratar de no poner a su familia en peligro. Eventualmente, sería la misma @VALERIE TULLE quien le encontrase en la ciudad, convenciéndole de marchar a Mystic Falls.

— Sin embargo, apenas regresasen juntos al pueblo, los herejes fueron por el clan de @A. MARENA DARVOLYA, enemigos de la familia desde hace décadas. Tras un arduo enfrentamiento, la intervención de la Nueva Armería propició que Beau y el resto de los miembros de los herejes fueren secuestrados por la organización de humanos.

— Beau, Nora y Mary Louise estuvieron encerrados en la Nueva Armería hasta diciembre de 2013. Su liberación fue pacífica, negociada por @LILY R. SALVATORE. Sin embargo, Beau no termina de perdonar lo ocurrido.

— Aún sigue preocupado por la presencia de Rayna en Mystic Falls, pues hallándose marcado por esta, es cuestión de tiempo que cumpla sus amenazas y concluya su misión.

the writing below 'read more' contains mentions of following : c-ptsd, abuse, death, mention of a corpse, blood mentions.

complex post-traumatic stress disorder : a mental health condition that can develop if one experiences chronic trauma ; and stefan salvatore fit the mold perfectly. from the moment he arrived in this world, stefan was dealt the hardest of cards, and pills, to swallow : an abusive family. he was often spared by a weakened lillian, rejected by giuseppe and damon who blamed his arrival for the loss of the matriarch. no one understood him, his needs, and the ongoing rejection, dismissal, avoidance certainly didn't help the young boy. one thing was certain, he was set for doom right from the start.

stefan learnt from a young age to bottle things within; to keep his emotions and feelings to himself — and the lack of control over such paired with several other circumstances and conditions meant that he was unable to cope, understand and regulate his emotions as one would. stefan kept quiet, until it overflowed, and whenever it did, he lost absolute control of himself, his actions, his shred of humanity. hearing the call of his name had him stop. he would recognise that call anywhere.

dropping the lifeless corpse, the salvatore turns to face her, and if he'd been in his usual, composed, mannered self, it would have been obvious the slightly sank in, darkened light green eyes, the tear stained cheeks from absolute despair, but the biggest clue to something being off, wrong, was the blood trickling down his chin to the ground after he drained yet another corpse.

perhaps it's the way she looks at him, but stefan feels akin to a deer in lights — was she disappointed? concerned? he doesn't say anything. instead, he just searched for answers in her gaze and in the silence that settled afterwards. he was a monster, and whenever his composure and control was lost, stefan was dangerous even : to others and himself.

He also knew about the supernatural (he knew when he was in middle school)

He found out about the supernatural by stumbling upon his late uncle Stefan's diary, and then he made connections by doing a lot (and I do mean a lot) of research

Out of his three sisters, he loved Rose the most due to them being seen as outcasts in the towns eyes

When his sister, Rosabella, was turned into a vampire, he was more distant with her at first, but he saw how hard she was fighting her "natural killer instincts," and they slowly reconnected again

Zach takes combat and hunter lessons from his uncle Jeremy whenever he's in town or whenever they talk on the phone

Has an interest in auto-mechanics and works at an auto shop (Damon sees a bit of Stefan in Zach whenever he's fixing a car or motorcycle)

He also plays a little bit of football

stefan and your daughter being a literal clone of lily from modern family where she just keeps making sassy comments and doing borderline evil things to her dad's relatives like shading elena about her failing marriage when she tries to comment on her momma or literally playing downright evil pranks on damon when he's just existing and while stefan tries to do everything in his power to stop that satan's spawn he's lowkey proud that she turned out to be a girlboss like you and not a blonde himbo like him 😭😭

Again I love when you guys mix tv shows. It’s my fav part abt (specifically) Stefan concepts

I’m pretty sure bc your child is literally from hell (Damon’s words) Damon has said to put Annie in a cage or smth. “That thing cannot be let out.”

Annie’s like “and like you should? I have heard so many stories and you’re the real animal here.” She then will like throw a book damon maybe has in his hand and is like “go fetch doggie”

I hate Damon personally so writing that filled me with lots of joy

One time when Elena was crying to you and Stefan abt her marriage, Annie walked in and was like

“Maybe you’d be happier if you weren’t blind and realized that Damon is stupid.”

You both are like “Annie Lillian Salvatore! That was very rude and inappropriate. Apologize to Elena right now.”

Annie just shrug and says “the truth hurts” then walks away like a baddie (bc she is)

Elena is like “what a brat.” Then you become defense bc only you can call you daughter a brat “excuse me? You know, she’s actually right.”

Now stefan has to step in to be the peace maker 😭 poor baby.

One day you and Stefan have a talk while making dinner while Annie is at a friends.

“Have you talked to her?” You ask. “Yes, but she doesn’t listen. She’s too much like you,” he sighs.

You’re like 🤨🤨 “excuse me mister? Last time I checked, you’re the real diva in this relationship.”

“Oh, yeah? What about the other day when Damon was trying to make plans? You walked all over him and somehow managed to bring his short comings into it.”

You’re just like 😈 “and? He deserves it.”

Stefan just sighs and shakes his head. He looks up to the ceiling and says “please whoever is up there, if we have another child, let it not be the spawn of satan”

Lol but in all seriousness yall love Annie and think it’s absolutely hilarious. But sometimes she can go too far

As I've played Damon many times in the past, I have conjured up multiple head canons of what he went through as a kid growing up in the Salvatore home that I'll post intermittently.

Damon has spent the better part of his vampire life living it up (and even living it down when he was captured by the Augustine Society) and fulfilling the promise of making his brothers life hell - as well as looking for ways to free Katherine from the tomb.

His initial reason for coming to Mystic Falls is to finally free Katherine from the tomb (that she's not in, unknown to him), it's an added luxury that his brother happens to be here too. Two birds one stone.

There also happens to be this invisible string that has pulled him back to the small town in the form of the Hellmouth.

There's a lot of things that Damon has done that I do not agree with and since this is pre!tvd - I will not be playing him strictly canon. However, this is not me erasing the things he's done (like in the case of Caroline) as that also impacts Caroline's story. This Damon won't make the same mistakes Damon in the future did, if that makes sense.

I'm super excited to get to write Damon in a different way than the show. He is open for any and all kinds of plots!

Warnings: drinking (but other than that this is pretty much straight fluff)

Description: Can someone put a timeline on a healing heart? Could someone wait for love until the end of time?

Rosalie's POV:

“Half the length of the relationship.” Caroline chimed in, tapping her fingers against the wooden table. I shuffled some fries around in the basket, my appetite close to nonexistent. “Well, if we’re going with that, I’m screwed for the next seven months.”

Damon slid into the booth beside me, swirling the Grill’s bourbon around in his glass. “5,000 drinks. No more, no less.” His eyes gleamed at me teasingly, and I pushed the basket of fries aside, turning to look at him. “You really want to be chiming in on this discussion on how long it takes to get over an ex, Mr. I-was-in-love-with-a-maniacal-doppleganger-for-a-century-and-half?” I noted the furrow of his brow and laughed. “That’s what I thought.”

Stefan glanced back and forth between us, staying awfully silent through all of this. I supposed he’d be the most knowledgeable. He watched the girl he loved fall for his brother. I wondered how long it took for him to get over Elena. Did he have some sort of time frame? Something I could look forward to? Was there a clear answer to the number of days I’d have to survive before it didn’t hurt anymore?

Of course, there wasn’t. This entire conversation was ridiculous. Sighing, I tapped Damon’s shoulder, gesturing for him to get out of the booth so I could leave. “Where are you going, Rose? I just got here,” Damon whined but got up to let me leave anyhow. “I’m going to the bar. Let’s see if this 5,000 drinks theory has any truth to it.” He let out a small victory cheer, tagging along after me.

I ordered eight shots of vodka, barely getting started. Matt was bartending, and thankfully, he didn’t question it. Damon almost always had a glass of bourbon in his hands, but he was never drunk. Vampires needed a lot more alcohol than humans to get going. Five drinks for us amounted to one drink for them. This was going to be a long night. Hopefully, by the end of it, I wouldn’t remember anything.

Kai's POV:

The Grill was all but empty when I headed in. Since I’d helped the Mystic Falls gang keep the Heretics and Lillian Salvatore in the 1903 Prison World, they’d graciously allowed me to live. Of course, if I wanted to, I could kill them with a flick of my wrist. Unfortunately, I was trying to be nice and make friends. Murder didn’t exactly fit into that equation.

My eyes landed on Rosalie. There was a long line of shot glasses scattered in front of her, and she was glaring at Damon. It was one of her favorite things to do. I loved glaring at Damon, too. As I walked closer, I heard her scolding Damon over how long he pined for Katherine.

“Don’t you tell me I have to get over Elijah. You’ve got no right, not when you scoured the globe trying to get Katherine out of a tomb she wasn’t even in. You had decades. I deserve at least a few days of grieving a relationship.” While talking, Rosalie pounded back three more shots. She was still coherent, which was impressive. I was hung up on her words. She was grieving a relationship. Was Elijah out of the picture?

Deciding it was time to make myself known, I took the empty seat between them. “Well, hi there.” Damon groaned, and Rosalie glanced at me from the side of her eye but said nothing. I got a half-hearted wave in greeting from her and watched her drink two more shots. “I think you’ve had enough, Rosalie.” The blonde idiot pulled the bottle away, but her angry look made him stop in his tracks. “You know what, Matt? Leave the bottle.”

Sighing, Matt left the bottle on the counter; Rosalie seemed entranced with the alcohol sloshing against the glass walls. I, too, watched the enticing swish of the liquid – like a shallow wave crashing against the beach. Forgoing the shot glasses entirely, Rosalie clumsily undid the bottle cap and drank the rest down. Damon cheered her on, and I just watched wide-eyed. Vampire or not, she would regret that tomorrow.

~ Three hours later ~

Rosalie had finally hit incoherency. It would’ve been annoying had it not been so damn cute. Damon had left about an hour ago, but Rose wasn’t willing to go. I, being the esteemed gentleman I am, offered to stay. Her drunken hand came up to pat my cheek. “So cute, you are!”

“Oh, so drunk you is basically Yoda. Nice.” I couldn’t help but grin at her. She gave me a goofy grin back, bopping her head along with the random music in the Grill. She clambered from the barstool, pulling me up with her. She danced along to the music, and I went behind the bar to crank it up.

Rosalie’s POV:

Kai turned up the music, and I blew some kisses at him in thanks. I felt nothing. I felt like I was floating. I danced around, almost crashing into some tables in my drunken stumbling. I didn’t have a care in the world right now, nor did I care about putting up a front for Kai. He was as messed up as all our friends are; the only difference was he didn’t care to cover it up with a good-guy façade. Why should I?

“Dance with me!” I hooked my finger at him, needing a partner. He came right in front of me within half a second, his smile glittering in his blue eyes. Kai was handsome, sure, and it wasn’t just the drinks in me talking. I’d thought so the first time I saw him, even when I was with Elijah. It hurt to think of him, so I tried not to, but it was hard.

I couldn’t help but imagine myself with Malachai. Was he capable of hurting me the same way Elijah had? I didn’t think so, but I also believed Elijah would never leave me, either. I couldn’t say, and I didn’t want to think about another relationship right now. It wouldn’t be fair to either of us.

Instead, I focused on dancing with him and memorizing his smile for a while. It brought me a great deal of calm amidst all the turmoil inside me. He had some power within him, something he didn’t even recognize. There was a light within him, and I adored it already…

~ Two hours later ~

“I can walk, Michael.” I exhaustedly pushed his shoulder, not actually hindering him from carrying me to the car. “Malachai. If you insist on calling me by my full first name, at least get it right.” He opened the car door without letting me go, setting me in the passenger seat and buckling me in. He zoomed to the driver’s side soon, taking me home. Unfortunately, I couldn’t thank him before I passed out.

Kai’s POV:

I took Rosalie to my place instead. I’d sleep on the couch if I had to – I just didn’t want her to wake alone tomorrow. Perhaps it was a little underhanded of me, but as she slept, I couldn’t help but graze the back of my hand against her cheek. I wasn’t angry with Elijah for leaving her, but I was angry at him for hurting her. I didn’t even know the guy, but I did know that he must’ve at least known what he was giving up.

Without more words, I carried Rosalie upstairs to my apartment and tucked her into my bed. She looked like she was at peace in her sleep, which was the most I could ask for. It was all I wanted for her. I knelt at her side for a while, just gazing at her. She needed to heal and grieve, and she deserved all the time she needed. I was willing to wait for her. I would wait forever. I would wait and hope that one day, she’d want me just the same.

DAY 8: "why won't it stop?"

Familiar faces, future plot(may happen may change). Pretty sure I've got the timing right on this.

background Infor- Elijah's still human, Hayley and the crescent pack are currently cursed because of an unrepentant Klaus, Elijah was happy with Gia(we know how that ended) so Kol, Rebekah and Freya are tried of steeping in between increasingly violent fights Klaus and Elijah.

Happens just after Alaric and Jo's ruined wedding.

Day eight of Febuwhump.

The first thing he did after grabbing the letter with his name on the way to his room was shrug off the torn and stained suit jacket and shirt and throw on one of his dad’s still too large sweaters. It was comforting, a brief escape from Elijah Mikealson when every other attempt failed.

He liked his suits but sometimes he felt trapped by them, to be a person he was certain never existed in the first place. Centuries ago Elijah had created a mask and now the weight of it was starting to crush him.

The wedding was meant to be a break, Kol and Freya had insisted he go, concerned he’d push himself too far trying to break the curse and free Hayley and the pack, Rebekah had gone further and told Hayley who had joined them in telling him to take a break.

Elijah is well aware that they were hoping the break to at least calm the growing tension between him and Klaus, since the last argument had included him echoing Father’s words at Klaus, Klaus biting him forgetting he was human and thus unaffected by his literal venom and Elijah throwing Klaus out of the window, mid day after tearing his daylight ring off.

Still the bite was going to scar, and Elijah, despite everything Klaus had done, still felt guilty when he had seen the regret in Klaus’s eyes when he realised.

Knowing Klaus had felt the agony of Gia’s last moments had helped a little.

The idea of a break however wasn’t going to work as he felt her absence during it as nothing but a reminder since he had promised to bring her with him the next time he returned to Mystic Falls to introduce her to his other families.

She was one of the few people who met him as Elijah Mikaelson but had still cared beyond the Mikaelson name who had asked about him, his lives away from them.

And he got her killed before she could meet any of them, another person Elijah failed to protect, from Klaus, from himself.

And Elijah hates himself as he knows he can’t truly hate Klaus, spitting cruel words and throwing him into walls was all he had.

Wedding couldn’t even go peacefully as instead a psychotic witch had attacked, killing Alaric’s new wife and her entire family and Elijah had acted, unable to watch as Alaric suffered though losing someone he loved.

He had brought Jo back, recreating a weaker version of what mother had done a thousand years before, not as strong as his siblings but unsired to them.

He really was his mother’s son.

Speaking of Mothers, the return of Lillian Salvatore had left him confused as to how to feel so he avoided the subject and left before he was forced to deal with it.

He never knew her and Damon had rarely spoken about her but Stefan had, leaving the lonely child he was to dream of what she would be like.

He wasn’t that lonely child, he was well aware of the damage a mother could do.

He was still bitter that it wasn’t mom, the one he really wanted.

That want only grew as he finally opened the letter addressed to him with curiosity , the pit of his stomach drop as he suddenly felt both hot and cold and he stared at the personal crest that had a couple of lives ago been seared into his skin.

The contact.

The one he had signed while a desperate addict. The one Tristan had used to trap a drug addled mess.

In this life and after, it mocked him, placed there in case he was turned.

The wording had confused Elias, at first, until Tristan had explained what he was.

It wasn’t legal and Elijah wasn’t going to keep those words.

But it was still a warning that Tristan was coming, another mess to add to the list that had already doubled since he left New Orleans.

This was meant to be a break.

“Why won’t it stop?” he sighed to himself.

‘You know why, boss.’ his mistake laughed, the Expression he had made with a hundred and forty four souls, three lives ago.

It had grown talkative since he had used the power to return his mother to life solely to use her to kill her sister and had almost killed Freya as she acted as the anchor.

'Your the cause of all your problems.' It laughed, 'Just another way you take after mother.'

This verse is completely AU and canon divergent, crafted in a way that will allow those who have not seen Legacies or care to interact with the show in canon form to be able to plotted with in a much easier fashion.

This version of Josie is related to neither Caroline or Alaric and is solely a Parker. I'm open to tweaking any other familial relations as needed.

I'm also super open to Lizzie being a part of this verse as well!

Josie and Lizzie Parker were born to Josette Parker in the early 20th century and thought to herald in a new era of the Gemini Coven due to the time of their birth and what the star charts had foretold. What none of the family expected was for them to be cursed with no magic of their own. Thought to be abominations, they were isolated from the rest of the family and forbidden to study or be around magic at all.

They were only able to stay with the family until they were around the age of 18 and then forcibly removed from the coven. They struggled for a year and a half on their own until they were found by Lillian Salvatore and the rest of the Heretics and given a chance to be more than just the abominations they thought they were. As much as she hated the Geminis for what they did to her and her sister, Josie couldn't just stand by and watch them be slaughtered

After witnessing Lily's rampages and catching wind of the plan about to be enacted by the Gemini Coven, Josie was able to escape the prison world and went into hiding. She has lived until modern day pretending to be just a vampire and hiding her magic away unless absolutely necessary.

When she finds her way back to Mystic Falls after decades, she's unsure where to even begin.

Eleanor was born just a few years after her older sister Emily and was born a few months after Stefan Salvatore. Because the two of them were so close in age and had a lot in common they spent a greater part of their childhood together. Of course, the young witch had to keep her magic a secret from her human friend as witches still weren’t accepted though Ele would end up breaking this rule the day of Lillian Salvatore’s funeral.

Damon had been nowhere to be found and while the rest of the older Salvatore’s were off looking for him, their Dad had taken the younger ones home. All besides Stefan at least who was still at his Mother’s grave when Eleanor had found him. She was still new to magic at the time as she was only 10 like the Salvatore boy but she sat there with him and softly recited a spell, cream violets growing around Lillian’s headstone as she did. Afterwards he promised he would keep her secret, even from his family, something that the young witch was very grateful for.

It didn’t take long after that for the two of them to become inseparable and any new spell Eleanor learned she showed her best friend. A few years later when they were 16, just a few days after the young witch’s birthday, the two of them finally confessed their feelings for one another and not long after took each other’s virginity. It was almost three months later when Eleanor started to show signs of being pregnant and went to tell her parents, her Mother confirming it with her magic.

Now, the Bennett family had enough problems at that time and their youngest daughter having a child out of wedlock with one of the founder’s sons was the last thing they needed. So, they sent Eleanor a few towns over to stay with her Aunt, telling everyone as well as Stefan that the young girl would be back in a little while, that she was just going to spend some time with her Aunt after she lost her husband. Which wasn’t completely untrue but they neglected to tell the Salvatore boy the rest.

Eleanor still wrote to Stefan but her family had made sure she left out the news about her having his child. It was almost a year later when the Bennett witch finally returned to Mystic Falls with her son, though to everyone else the boy was their nephew that they took in after Eleanor’s Aunt had gotten sick and passed. No one questioned it too much, though Ele and her family knew people had their suspicions and were spreading rumors.

A few months after Eleanor got back to Mystic Falls the Pierce twins showed up along with other vampires, something the Bennett family were all too familiar with. Things between the witches and vampires in Mystic Falls weren’t great but they were decent, the two supernatural's keeping each other’s secret and occasionally helping one another but they were by no means friends. However that quickly changed after Katherine found herself becoming jealous of the young Bennett witch.

Stefan and Eleanor weren’t as close as they’d been before she was sent away but they were slowly repairing their relationship. At least until she had caught the Pierce vampire and him in his room and stormed out of the house before he’d even noticed, though Katherine had. It was after that when Eleanor decided to leave Mystic Falls once again but she didn’t want to leave without an explanation this time and wanted to come clean about Salem.

So, she wrote one last letter to Stefan, telling him if he wanted to come with her and their son where to find her before she left and magically sent it to him. Except Stefan never got the letter because Katherine had found it before he did and after destroying it, sent Kamen to get rid of the girl. The Pierce vampire had killed her, but he’d given her his blood first and when she woke up a little while later he gave her human blood, a crash course in vampirism and enough money to get her and her son far away which was exactly what she did.

Damon est né le 19 juin 1839 à Mystic Falls, fils de Giuseppe et Lillian Salvatore. Il est le frère aîné de Stefan. Durant son enfance, sa mère tombe extrêmement malade, à cause, de la tuberculose, et son père, un homme strict et inquiétant, envoie leur mère loin de chez eux et c'est là-bas qu'elle meurt. Les deux frères se retrouvent seuls avec leur père, et malgré leur différence d'âge, ils s'entendent à merveille. Damon est loin d'être le fils préféré. En tant qu'humain Damon était un garçon gentil, aimable, doux et respectueux. Il reviendra de la guerre de Sécession en 1864. Un jour durant l'année 1864, Katherine Pierce arrive avec sa servante, Emily Bennett. Damon tombe fou amoureux de Katherine, jeune fille sensuelle, joueuse, au charme irrésistible. Au début, il ignore que Katherine est un vampire fourbe et sans pitié. Elle lui fait boire régulièrement son sang, il accepte sans l'effet de l'hypnose. Alors lorsque Damon se fait tuer par son père en tentant de délivrer Katherine, il se transforme en vampire. Après qu'il ait achevé sa transformation, Damon dit à Stefan qu'il va le faire souffrir pour l'éternité pour l'avoir obligé à terminer sa transition, mais aussi parce qu'il pense que c'est Stefan qui a dénoncé Katherine. En 1953 , Damon est capturé par l'Augustine (organisation secrète faisant des expériences sur les vampires dont Grayson Gilbert est l'un des médecins l'ayant torturé). Là-bas il rencontre Lorenzo , un autre vampire. Au fil du temps il devient son meilleur ami. Enzo met au point un plan pour s'enfuir: L'un des deux boira 2 rations de sang par jour (au lieu d'une seule) pendant une année entière afin d'être assez fort le jour du réveillon de Noël. Pendant la soirée, Damon se libère de ses chaînes et attaque tout le monde mais un incendie se propage. Enzo est toujours coincé dans la cage dont les barreaux sont imprégnées de veine de vénus. Damon tente de libérer son ami, mais en vain. Se rendre compte qu'il ne pouvait pas libérer et craindre que l'Augustine le ramène dans sa cellule, Damon éteint ses émotions et l'abandonne.Damon revient à Mystic Falls dans le but de libérer Katherine (dont il est toujours éperdument amoureux) du tombeau dans lequel il la croit enfermée depuis 1864. Il fait alors la connaissance d'Elena, une adolescente de 17 ans qui ressemble trait pour trait à Katherine. Cette rencontre augmente ses sentiments envers Katherine, il fera alors tout pour trouver le tombeau et la libérer pour s'enfuir avec elle. Cependant, Elena et Stefan se dressent contre son plan, car pour libérer Katherine, il faut libérer les 26 autres vampires enfermés en même temps qu'elle y a plus de 145 ans. Un jour, il parvient avec l'aide d'Elena, de Stefan, de Bonnie et de la grand-mère de celle-ci à entrer dans le tombeau, mais Katherine ne s'y trouve pas. Damon est bouleversé par cette découverte. Il devient plus mature, sociable et protecteur. Lorsque Katherine réapparaît à Mystic Falls et lui annonce qu'elle a toujours été amoureuse que de Stefan, Damon commence à la détester. Il va même participer au plan de Stefan pour tuer Katherine. Brun ténébreux aux yeux bleus et froids, il est sauvage et cruel et adore s'abreuver de sang humain, contrairement à Stefan. Bien qu'il fait passer ses intérêts avant le reste, il n'en reste pas moins proche de son petit frère au point d'en oublier sa promesse de le faire souffrir pour l'éternité. Il enferme de lourds secrets et ses sentiments au fond de lui, sont enfouis très loin dans son esprit, dont il n'a même pas conscience. Je joue Damon avec son caractère de la saison 1, c'est-à-dire sans humanité ou du moins refoulée. Je ne supporte pas le couple Delena alors à moins de jouer divinement vous n'avez aucune chance de former ce couple avec moi. Les jeux avec Damon implique que si il vous tue, le jeu sera terminé.

Lady of the House Pt. 2: Welcome to the Family SUMMARY

I told everyone a bit ago that i was going to post my notes for the sequel since there’s like... a negative percent chance that I’m ever going to finish it. well here they are!!

The reader getting ready for the meeting, it's about a week after saving alcina, so about five days past waking up. The reader is lamenting about the weird lumps on their hands and on their sides and a lump on their head. Alcina comes in and scolds them for picking at the lumps and coaches them on some stuff, they briefly rehash what happened in the last fic. Alcina also brings in the first batch of dresses from lillian. Alcina also??? Maybe?? Bites them on the throat, right above the collar, right in plain sight. This way, she says, mother miranda and the rest of them won't get any wrong ideas about who you belong to or where your loyalty lies. Oh my god. Wait. Wait. The reader is in like….a dress of a certain color?? and lady d accessorizes to also have that color??? Either way, there's an interaction with the daughters here where daniela is like "haha go get em flank steak" and alcina is like >:( and daniela's like "mooooooomn relaaaax it's just a nickname :)" and then the other two sisters are the ones distrustful of the main character

The meeting chapter. They get to the meeting, mother miranda is there, she immediately knows alcina turned the mc and the mc is like :O and then >:O!!!!! Mother miranda and alcina have their spat, and when mother miranda says something biting the main character discharges electricity (though no one knows that) and everyone's hair stands on end and the main character is like "don't fucking talk to her like that" and miranda is big angee about it but the two of them stop fighting. The houses report in, donna reports about the state of the village, salvatore reports about a research outpost he found in his resevoir, and heisenberg cuts in and is like "I think I might know who that is. This guy tried to blow up my factory." chris got away or was captured?? Idk. Regardless, after alcina reports about ethan and hypes up the mc's achievement, everyone's like "….he had pretty massive regenerative powers because of the mold. How did you kill him" and alcina's like "……" and the mc produces the knife because she thought they'd want to see it and alcina's like >:0 and heisenberg does the stabby thingy and it's revealed that alcina has these knives in case the other lords stepped out of line and she needed to kill them quickly. She asks them if they have anything that might kill her or the other lords and donna raises her hand. After that the reader's like "….I MADE A SALAD WITH CRAISINS, WHO WANTS TO HANG OUT WITH ME AND GET TO KNOW ME NOW THAT I'M A PART OF YOUR LITTLE FAMILY =D;;;;;" and mother miranda's like "you're not. But you could be, you have potential. Perhaps 'hanging out' is a good way for the other houses to test your character." and heisenberg is like "hey, me first." they agree to meet up tomorrow and the meeting closes with mother miranda pulling alcina aside to remind her where her loyalties lie. On their way back the mc and alcina have a fuckin Talk

Back at the castle, the daughters are interrogating mc about the meeting over dinner. Mc is explaining, the daughters dish on heisenberg, donna, and salvatore, and lady d also dishes on them and is like telling the mc her opinions of the others. Mc asks about being turned at some point and alcina says that there was never a right time to tell her. The mc and alcina go up to her room, and lady d laments mother miranda's opinion of her. The mc starts praising her and telling her she did well, and lady d gets Really Into It. They fuck and the reader just kinda….takes care of alcina kinda??

Heisenberg hang out day. He takes the mc to his factory and shows her around, and then he's like "SO. We all got powers when we were turned. I think you got one too, but I'm not sure what it is." and so they test some things out and the mc goes up against some of heisenberg's robots and is like trying to do stuff that the others can do and they kinda stop for the day and the reader is frustrated but then like. Is emotionally "charged" HAHA and zaps something and the two of them look at each other like 8D and so they start testing out the reader's powers and heisenberg si like "you and me, girlie, we're going to make a great team. I can control metal, you can control electricity. All I have to do is line up a connection and you can send your shocks anywhere you want." and the reader is :D alcina picks up the reader and they're like "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO 8D" and lady d is very impressed

They go home and the daughters are like "hi!" and the reader's like "hey daniela, I can zap things" and daniela thinks that's the COOLEST SHIT and asks the reader to zap her and she does and she just laughs and is like "holy fuck" and the other sisters are jealous bc their mom likes this new person and they didn't but daniela has broken their unified front. And so the reader tries to talk to bela and cassandra and bela kinda comes around but cassandra is Not Having It. The reader laments to lady d that the daughters aren't coming around and lady d says that daniela's usually the last so the reader has that going for her. And cassandra is always a bit fussy. And lady d kinda pulls the reader into her lap and the reader shocks her a bit bc emotionally charged and lady d is just ":eyes emoji: can you do that on command" and so they have some electrostimulation fun and lady d bites the reader as she comes and once she's come down she kinda smacks her lips and is like "you're vitamin deficient" and the reader's like "wut" and lady d's like "well, we have to get you eating healthier." and tastes her again and is like "potassium, zinc, magnesium and…sodium? Weird."

The next day donna cancels, and so the reader stays home. They go to the library and start researching the different things the parasite does, and reads about things like that. It mentions electricity powers like an electric eel, and the reader's like….tf is that. Basically through their research they find out that they expel certain ions in order to create their charge, and that those are what they're low on. Lady d comes in and they sit in her lap and explain their discovery. Another exhibition scene. She fucks them in the library, and at one point a maid comes by and the reader is like o/ and lady d's like >:)

Donna scene for realsies!! It's just…weird. They have tea in her house and donna talks to the reader through angie the whole time. The other dolls are serving them tea. They have a nice chat. Donna shows them the garden, and angie talks about the plants and stuff, and says a bit about how donna's power is linked to them. The reader agrees to play hide and seek and it's unexpectedly terrifying. They actually find angie and they hide for a good long while. When the dolls find the mc there's a knock at the door and it's alcina. Alcina enters and donna doesn't want the mc to leave. The mc reassures her that she'll be back. They make a pinky promise.

Another chapter with the daughters. Lady d is doing…something. And it's just the mc and the daughters having a rip roaring old time playing some game where it's daniela and mc against bela and cassandra. Daniela and the reader win and then they all sit around and like…talk and get to know each other and actually make progress towards being friends. And then lady d is lurking and the mc nods for her to come down and she does and they have happy family fun times and lady d reads to them and it's generally just very good.

Salvatore :) he's initially distrustful of the reader bc mm doesn't like her. But they have a kinda awkward talk and the reader opens up about her past and about richard and how she never felt like she was good enough for him either and salvatore gets emotional and talks about how he just wants to be on the same level as the rest of the lords and mc says that he is, he wouldn't be a lord if he wasn't and he protests and says that mm loves the other lords more than him and gets emotional and turns into a fish monster in his state. And the reader helps him into the water and they keep talking. Reader wins him around by telling him dumb fish jokes. He contributes one of his own. They have a good time.

Back at the castle. They're getting ready for some sexy times when mother miranda calls and says "hey you're gonna visit me tomorrow right" and alcina starts fooling around with the reader in revenge and by the end mother miranda totally knows but no one's going to mention it!!!! And then they hang up the phone and actually have sexy times with overstimulation. And afterwards alcina asks about moreau (derogatory) and reader defends him and alcina kinda reassesses her biases and is like "ok, im sorry" and the reader's like "he just wants to make mm proud" and alcina kinda wistfully says "don't we all." the reader's like <-<;;;; and there's a pause but the reader opens up about what they talked to salvatore about.

Mother miranda time. They go on a walk. In the woods. The reader's like "im gonna die" but mother miranda is just taking her to the cave where she found the megamycete or her labs???. She basically makes the reader swear on her life as given to her by alcina and on alcina's as given by miranda that she won't betray this family. And the reader does and miranda is satisfied. She talks a bit, about the megamycete and about her daughter and everything. And she mentions how she was unfair to her children and that she shouldn't have let her grief blind her to the needs of the people who looked up to her. The reader talks about what some of the children said without naming names and is like "you have to do better" and mm looks down at baby!eva/rose in her arms and is like "…yes. Yes I do." and then there's an explosion in the distance and uh oh! It's chris. Mm surrounds the reader in feathers and like turns into a giant bird thing and flies to the source

All the lords are gathered and there's like this helicopter with soldiers and the reader and mm get there and shit goes Down. Heisenberg uses his metal army, donna makes hallucinations, salvatore goes full fish, lady d is chopping and slicing, mm summons mold tendrils, and the mc is hanging back with the baby. Chris approaches mc and mc shocks the ever loving shit out of him. A warning shot at first, and then harder when he tries again. Chris is trying to reason with the mc by saying like….mm tore a family apart and the mc is like "well you're tearing mine apart so fuck you" and shocks him real good. They drive back the soldiers

They regroup and mm is like "they'll keep coming so long as I have the child" and someone's like "well she's yours" and mm is like "the ritual failed. She's not eva. I've been hoping that she eventually would be, but…" and the chapter is basically a negotiation between both parties. Mm gives them the child, and they leave her alone. Mm sobs as they take rose away and the mc watches as rose is reunited with mia and feels things but still feels sorry for miranda

The h/c chapter. Alcina and mc tending to each other's wounds. Soft sex, caring sex, just…mutually taking care of each other.

The lords gather to welcome the reader into their little family. There's a ritual, the details of which need to be made up still, but…each lord presents a gift and then mm baptizes them or some shit and it's very weird but it ends with the little family cheering at their new addition
