My Humans put me in a TINY BOX in a BIG LOUD BOX for daaaaaays. Daaaaaays and daaaaaays and daaaaaays and nobody let me out! It took forever! But now we're in a new apartment and passing tour guides point me out on tours because I sit in the windows of our historic building. I'm the most important feature now! . A throwback to when I first came home in October. I've grown so much in 3 months! My Hooman says I'm mostly tail, but I think he is jealous of my magnificent tail, the only one in my litter. So what kind of cat am I? I'm a mix! Papa is a Ragamuffin, very big and cuddly, with long, plush fur and a magnificent ruff. Mama is a Pixie Bobtail, which looks like a miniature bobcat -- short fur, curled ears, a stub tail, and extra toes. Most of my littermates came out looking more like Mama, but I got all the tail and none of the extra toes. I'm starting to get a bit of a ruff, but I'm unique and still growing. Either way, I am going to be a big girl, or what the ACFA calls "a substantial body type." I'm friendly and curious, but I love My Hooman the most (Other Hooman is also good). I don't meow, but instead, I chirp and chitter, and make all sorts of weird noises. I love water, playing fetch, and climbing. And I love making sure my Hooman takes his meds, rests his painful joints, and feeds me snacks. I know so much stuff and I'm not even six months old! I'm so round when I nap! Jellybean won't let me play with her tail (so mean!), so I wear myself out playing with all my toys my Humans brought me. Then, I find the most inconvenient spot on the bed for napping! It's a lot of work being this adorable, but I was born for this life. My Human says I'm getting "fixed" on Valentine's Day, but I don't think there's anything wrong with moi. He says it's important to do because I'm almost a Grown Up Grand Duchess, and that I can't go to New Orleans without it, so in 9 days, I'll go back to the vet. I don't like it there, but they do give me very nice treats. They know how to treat royalty, even if they do pay more attention to Jellybean, having seniority and all that. . On a serious note from The Human: please get your pets spayed or neutered. Cats live longer, healthier lives, and it's never too late for the procedure. If it's too expensive for you, ask your local animal shelter or humane society for reduced or free sterilisation and rabies shots, and if your cat comes in contact with the outside in any way, flea and heartworm medication. Their health is our responsibility, and we owe these little furry friends the best lives possible for giving theirs into our hands. My Humans are moving, so we're staying in a weird place as they go back to our old flat, argue, then come back with stuff they say is "important," but none of it is my cat tree, so I think they're missing something. My big sister Eleanor is here, and it's a small place, so we have to share the bed. I think she isn't much fun because she won't let me bite her tail or lick her ears, buuuuut I don't mind cuddling. She's really calm and reassuring. She's been with The Humans 12 years and she made sure I behaved at The Vet, which wasn't fun. But she let me hide in the carrying box with her, so I think she's starting to like me. More adventures are coming at the end of February, The Humans say! I think I'm excited?
