M had an evening reception to go to, so I decided to stop moping in the room and took a little walk down the Broadwalk to Hollywood Brewery for their happy hour. Beers are half-off, and the one thing I wanted to do was to have a bowl of pelmeni, which are Russian meat-filled dumplings that are also on the menu here in addition to pizzas and other standard bar fare. 

One thing I have on my list of things to do in March is to mess around with these dumplings and make the Ukrainian version, which often has potatoes but can also be made with soft cheeses and even fruits, so it has piqued my interest.

#i was sooo happy printing this at work lol #i had been listening to the album on repeat and saw slime on the schedule snd RAN to my boss like #“ARE WE PRINTING FOR POLLYANNA?!?!?!?!” and she made sure i was the one to set up/print the shirts #there was another design i set up but couldn't finish the job bc it was such a big print it hurt my wrists after a few rounds #man it was so fucking cool meeting them and telling them how happy i was to print their merch #talking to myself in the tags once again lol but! gonna list bands/artists that are fun to print for #fangirled sooo bad when we printed jhariah merch a few months after i started working there #ben quad was fun too #i love all the goalkeeper prints we do.. their designs are sick #wax jaw has fun designs too i need to check them out #same with grocer #it's fun printing for the local breweries too #I'd like to think my parents would think I'm cool for printing merch n networking with musicians idk #okay i need to go to bed lol #rAMbles #am

sometimes i remember the time that a professor told me my essay was the most interesting and insightful in the class and then i started skipping that class and couldn’t bring myself to turn in any more essays to her and i’m like damn i should go back to therapy and deal with that

#i really loved that class too and was passionate about the essay topics #it’s very frustrating thatbi sabotaged myself so badly #my response to compliments isn’t THAT bad anymore but it’s still genuinely pathological #ever since i was a little kid compliments have made me feel like i’ve set expectations that i can’t uphold and that i will disappoint #and like. i know it’s the neurodivergent gifted kid trauma or whatever #this knowledge that bc of what i later found out was adhd my ability fluctuates so drastically and i’m so inconsistent #the dysfunction was definitely at its peak in college lmao but it’s still there #idk like my church does this thing where once a month a bunch of old dudes go to a local brewery and drink beer and talk about theology #and sometimes i go too bc i miss talking about theology #and apparently the preacher told my dad he was impressed by how insightful my input always is and now i don’t want to go back lol #i know why i’m like this but i don’t know how to fix it
