said it before i think but hermitcraft recap crew as watchers is one of my favourite headcanons. like typically people think of evil watchers and runaway/rebel watchers like grian, who reject their powers completely. HOWEVER! this is wrong, theres a secret third type! the recap crew do their jobs of watching hermitcraft, and the other watchers kind of leave them alone. they don't particularly approve of the other groups methods, but they're not breaking any rules so they leave them alone. this is also part of the reason grian is so safe on hermitcraft, because watchers dont think to look there as they assume the recap crew has it covered. if only they bothered to actually watch the show 😔

since early day lore keeps being referenced, here are some good early qsmp lore vods to watch if you're ever curious about what all went down:

any day 1 pov: really good introductory content (obviously), even for the lore. there’s a lot of cutscenes from that specific day iirc as well which i always think are beneficial to watch! also everyone’s first reactions to cucurucho/osito bimbo are fucking hilarious

roier, day 4: explains his and osito bimbo’s dynamic, they spend a large part of the day together.

roier, day 5: the betrayal the day of spreens betrayal, self explanatory. this is also the day we get the book from osito bimbo where it calls roier "0037"

any day 7 pov: egg's introduction morse code transmission about an “experiment,” the day the original eggs got adopted, shows how the attitude toward the eggs has changed since then, possibly could help explain some of the family dynamics?? at least how they function and treat the kids

roier, day 10: osito bimbo makes it's return but now it's different, (sort of) the day cucurucho officially takes osito bimbo's place

slime or roier, day 16: tilin's death the day of tilin's death, ultimately had a lot of impacts on various characters on the island like slime, roier, and quackity, for example.

slime, day 20: avenging juanaflippa slime tries to get flippa another chance at life by forcing a reset of all the eggs lives, meaning he goes after and targets the other player's eggs.

day 21: "save the baby" quest aka the first egg kidnapping/disappearance (continued in day 22 due to server maintenance). a rescue mission given to the islanders via egg tasks to go retrieve their eggs!

day 22 (slime, mariana, roier, bbh, quackity, foolish, jaiden, philza): juanaflippa's custody trial and revival really fucking funny but also a part of the servers history that i feel like got brushed over too fast. confirms the federation can give extra lives to the eggs if they are so willing and some other stuff.

luzu, day 24: final (physical) arin appearance explains why arin was there, what his purpose is, and how the codes are related to him. can also been seen in foolish and bbh's vod from this day.

foolish, day 26: introduction to leo’s “friends” and a few island entities, the founding of the theory bros (now ordo theoritas) which can also be seen in max and bad’s pov that day!

day 27: the funeral a funeral is held for all the dead eggs (trump, tilin, and flippa) and i believe it's the first time the federation allows parents to talk to their children after their death. for this day, most pov's do go to the funeral service, but only parents of the dead eggs (quackity, slime, mariana, and maxo) get to see their children.

anyones pov, day 34: “the countdown begins, 6 days left.” codes intercept the ducks transmission (again?) and alert the parents that the eggs will die/disappear in 6 days. we know now this obviously isn't true but still a lore-ish day

roier, day 34: even more osito bimbo content! the day when osito bimbo tells roier more about the federation, such as the existence of the "host" and how it has a specific set of duties it must follow/complete.

quackity, day 36: quackitys interrogation & las casualonas debut disguised, roier and vegetta interrogate quackity about his plans regarding the eggs (which iirc was a rumor started by roier saying he was going to murder them) and the island.

maxo, day 50: sofias creator visits maxo important for current lore seeing as the person who gave him said instructions is now known to be a part of the revolution etoiles was recruited into.

I wonder how seriously we're supposed to take the QSMP Lore Recap videos in regards to QSMP lore as a whole? Part 4 drew significant attention to q!Foolish's DNA results showing that he's biologically human, even though I feel like there's a general consensus that's a totem. The video even includes q!Foolish himself expressing surprise at being biologically human.

Like, at the time, I feel like we could brush off that moment as not everyone knowing everyone's lore. But the Recap purposely drew attention to it. Also bearing in mind the recent context of purgatory where we've seen q!Foolish's body cracking, his emeralds getting dulled, growing mould in places, essentially things that affirm that he's made out of totem materials.

It comes off as very foreboding to have so much evidence given to us that he's a totem, only to remind us right after that he's biologically human.

QSMP Day 149 lore recap!

Mike was partially possessed by the goddess Mine today :D Him and Fit followed more clues on their search for Pac/Walter Bob, leading them to a mysterious room full of clocks right below the cemetery…

Furry club summoning ritual success! They summoned Lobo Nocturno (Vegetta alter ego) who immediately flirted with Foolish.

Etoiles woke up in the nether and went on his dangerous adventure that the code sent him on a week ago. After lots of monster battling, he succeeded in retrieving the “CPV2” code shield from a secret Federation vault. He exited the nether and outside the portal won a battle with the code entity.

Foolish followed trails of mysterious oranges that led him to “Memory Books” left by Mr. Mustard.

Max’s parasitic disease symptoms got worse and worse. Cucurucho then appeared and took him into a Federation hospital for the emergency surgery- and he didn’t have a chance to tell anyone he left. During the operation, Max fell into a coma as Cucurucho laughed at him…

Mini filler fun! :0 The Cult of Richarlyson invaded Cellbit’s castle as more people choose their entity rooms.

Elquackity & Roier destroyed the egg daycare and Bad retaliated by destroying Quackity’s pyramid. Cellbit watched the chaos, Roier apologized, and they all sang together afterwards.

Elquackity left the group and entered a secret Federation facility where he tested an egg named “Egg A1,” on a lava parkour- which the egg didn’t survive. Elquackity then went to the Federation office building, and pressed a hidden mechanism behind the elevators that led to a hidden room. A computer inside showed a screen with a “50% Completed” loading bar, a picture of a desert, and images of Elquackity, Etoiles, Foolish, Felps, and Baghera…

Okay, with Misfits in Toyland dropping in two weeks on Webtoon, I feel the need to just recap where the main cast is at in their nightmarish existence upon Maria's arrival. I will be putting these plot-relative comics I've made up on there as interludes and bonus content.

Eleanor's life hasn't actually changed much in decades. She did work at the doll hospital for a while in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but since then, she has lived a semi-recluse life in her doll house on the outskirts of Toy Town, only socializing and inviting guests over for tea parties. She is often turned to when seeking certain information or guidance and often plays the role of expositor to newcomers.

Paul got a haircut from Jen, a neighbour of his who he got off to a rocky start with. They have since developed a romantic relationship and moved in together. Since then, Paul has grown more comfortable with his gender identity and has even embraced being called "Pauline" - a name that denizens used to call him in jest.

Jen, meanwhile, found out that the girl who bullied her and ruined her life had also wound up in Toyland. She has, for the last 23 years or so, found ways to torment Tammy out of revenge. Sometimes assisting Gabe in the guise of helping him run experiments on her, just so she can find ways to torture her. However, Gabe has gradually picked up on her animosity toward Tammy and has been working on a particular project in secret so that the two stay separated.

To distract herself from her new reality, Mel had taken up the responsibility of looking after Tammy. The two have since bonded, becoming close friends and caring about each other deeply.

However, Mel's play-brain seems to be worsening lately, increasing her infantile attributes. She kept this a secret from Tammy in fear of upsetting her. On top of everything, she has recently rendered herself mute after accidentally breaking her pullstring. Left with no other choice, Mel follows Tammy's advice and takes up Dolly’s offer for help, moving in with her.

However, due to a terrible misunderstanding, it seems that the "help" Dolly offered was not what Mel and Tammy had expected. Believing she wanted to be treated like a baby, Dolly has taken up the role of Mel's caregiver, keeping her captive in a nursery to ensure maximum privacy. Believing Dolly to be insane and unwilling to be reasoned with, Tammy has taken up the role of "baby monitor" so that she can continue to stay with Mel.

Trapped, unable to communicate, and not having the strength to fight back, Mel seems to be slipping towards Toy Fugue.

Gabe has been hard at work developing a way to improve Tammy's quality of life after running several experiments on her over the years. However, given his plush body, his other responsibilities, and his love for video games, said development has been slow.

He seems to be really focused on his work as of late and keeping to himself after an awkward poker night with his friend Charlie, which led to a night of drunk love-making and vulnerability. While Gabe is openly bi, Charlie isn't sure what he is, and the two seem to be avoiding each other until they figure it out.

So I haven't been as active on tumblr lately because I have been helping with the development of a new qsmp lore server called "QSMP News" where we help recap all the lore that's been happening. I know a lot of us struggle with finding decent qsmp lore recaps so that's what this server plans to alleviate. People can choose whether or not they want to help recap lore or just chill on the server. We have many lore channels for different player characters, npcs, and even arg/enigma lore. We also have many channels and activities for just hanging out. It is ultimately a safe place for qsmp fans to engage with each other and occasionally escape the drama of the other social media platforms. The server will open to the public on Saturday and since there is a lot of lore, we will probably still be filling up lore channels as we go on. I'm helping with the Jaiden lore summaries and would appreciate any help once the server finally opens. Overall, the server's been very fun. Stay tuned

QSMP RECAP : DAY 183 (9/21)

FIT found player data on pol, tubbo, and tina

FIT cleaned an "outpost," and found information about other outposts

TUBBO got friendzoned by fred

ETOILES ran a dungeon that the feds asked him to run

ETOILES found a book in the dungeon confirming that people (likely the federation let's be real) are watching him run the dungeons and making reports

ETOILES figured out phil is missing and told fit & tubbo, as well as asked cucurucho about it (he didn't get any answers)

CELLBIT figured out phil is missing (i think?)

CELLBIT and BAGI fought over zeno (the cat cellbit found in an abandoned far-off house a few days after the eggs disappeared)

BAGHERA told fit all about her diary and her federation excursion

FIT told baghera about his missing memories and how he's trying to remember a faceless white figure

CELLBIT and BAGI went over a ton of old lore, catching each other up on various things

FOREVER decided today is the day to fix bbh and is running around telling people about it/offering for them to help

PIERRE has been having nightmares about the federation operating on his(?) brain, and he showed antoine and baghera them

BAGHERA is worried about etoiles getting corrupted by the code and wants to talk to him about it (bbh, pierre, and antoine agreed to help)

ETOILES is worried about baghera being sad and wants to talk to her about it

FOREVER is warning us that some big stuff is gonna happen soon

ANTOINE said the admins approved his lore plan (which surprised him cuz a lot of it was big stuff) so that'll be going into effect soon

FOREVER realized phil is missing (i mean he kinda already knew but you know)

BAGI went to the furry club

ROIER got mad cellbit logged off before he got on /lh

ROIER died to bbh’s prank (bbh and baghera tried to get him to tame it)

BBH realized roier probably isn’t doing very well

BBH and ROIER talked about the missing eggs

FOREVER (and others) surprised bbh with a room full of nice messages and fanarts (which cheered him up a lot)

FOREVER and BAGI explored the maze a bit more (they found some pink blocks?? and forever found a bunch of admin stuff i think—didn't watch this part)

There are days when I go back to my roots of drawing extremely pretty men and elaborate outfits and jewelry.

"Pirates of Leviathan" is one of my favorite seasons of Dimension 20 - can you tell? "A Court of Fey and Flowers" is right up there with it. Can't get enough of it. I really hope the Bad Kids swing by Leviathan at some point again. Like, Garthy O'Brien was briefly mentioned in FHJY Adventuring Party Ep1, and I went FERAL. (I wanna know more about Ayda's relationship with Garthy! Embarrassing baby stories, general lore, I DON'T CARE.)

Needless to say, I adore Garthy O'Brien and Jack Brakkow. It was hilarious to watch Matt and Brennan flirt with each other. But even more than that, I love a good revenge/glow-up story, and Captain Brakkow had a great one.

Ok holy Sweet Honey Iced Tea a LOT has happened today and is not even over yet i think.

First the waystones around spaw where missing, that weird forniture apeard, than the eggs come back all dirty and aperantly more cracked even Pomme and probably Richas. So lets go i have a lot to say about that

At first i again though it was Q!BBH messing with Q!Forever's goverment, but as the day when on i just started to have the felling it wasn't that, because more stuff started to happen and it can't be a coinsidance. So quick recap:

Q!Fit and Q!Tubbo went to take care of Chayanne and notice that he was diferent, all dirty, more cracked and if u notice his duck floatie was kinda messed up too, beside the fact that he was tired and scared and couldn't remember how was his night. Then they found some furniture around Q!Fit's base that have being placed as numbers and in a patter of white and black. At the same time Quackity Studios posted a tweet of a lot of number that CC!Cellbit's discord solved forming the word "Tomorrow"

Skipping foward Pomme, Q!Antoine, and Q!BBH found out that if you get the number that the forniture was placed in the alfabetical order of the members base that they where found, it would form the frase "Eu te vejo" "I see You" in portuguese, at the same time that Q!Forever also was able to solve it, and then confirming it to them.

Puting all of that together it will form the santance "I see you tomorrow" or "i will see you tomorrow" it may meen that the person that CC!Forever chose and the unknow ice person may come tomorrow since it a santence i portugese and a word in english. Later Q!Cellbit was able to solve the other part of the enigma getting the frase " Viva la revolucion" that may mean that the person behind this is a spanish speaker.

Now to the egg problem Chayanne Pomme Dapper and Tallulah where tired dirty, cracked and they didn't know why, beside the fact that Richas wasn't woke up and that is very weird of him, my theory is that:

1 the eggs are the one's behind it all while either in a sleep-walking kinda way or in a someone was controling them kinda way. Either way they don't remember but have the feeling they've done something wrong, they are tired because they were awake all night doing it and was a not so easy job, thats why they were dirty and cracked

2 they were used to make new eggs just like i think they were in the first time they were kidnaped when the BR'S showed up, and the reason to that is because since the other new participants are coming they will all finaly be able to get new egg

I also stell think that is just like the eventes that were happening in the elections, were the cadidates were being attacked, not something especificly done by the federation but just the admins traying to add some drama to the series, it stell could be them or someone else like the codes its pretty posible as well

I also stell don't know why Richas would lie about Q!BBH being the one stealing the forniture yesterday, neither is know what he wroted to Q!Pac and Q!Cellbit it may be something personal like Ricardão had to do something that is why Richas didn't woke up until now but we may bever know
