My cat is famous now

OK, so I gotta document this for posterity.

My Instagram is a fan account for fictional character Kent Parson, right? Parse is a hockey player with a Maine Coon called Purrs, so I post about hockey and post pictures of my Maine Coons with captions “Purrs and her best friend Ozzy” and interact with fan accounts of the other characters. It’s great. I’ve never been so popular.

That’s her.

So I track the #kentparson tag on Instagram, and on it happens to be this drawing of this gorgeous cat by @blackhaireddemon. It’s a piece of fanart of Purrs, who happens to be drawn looking very much like my cat. And wearing a snapback (baseball cap for players not of baseball).

So I comment:

And I thought that was the end of it, but then I got a notification that I’d been tagged in a comment on this post. It’s a woodcut print, and the caption includes: “Thanks to @kentparson90 for having Purrs model! Prints up in my Etsy shop, link in my bio.”
