He confirmed it a while ago! I can’t find the specifics but there was a HUGE fandom cry of validation because so many people had theorized it, only for it to be made canon by the actors and directors themselves! :)

Duly noted. What do you mean by White Maximoff? Think she'll make a better appearance and portrayal in XMen Apocalypse? I don't think Quicksilver holding a younger sister in a tutu counts as Wanda lol

Well, canonically in earth 616, wanda and pietro are eastern european and roma. Roma are poc and not white like elizabeth olsen and aaron taylor johnson. i’m not saying they didn’t do a good job but marvel had a chance to put a severely under represented cultural group into a movie and decided to cast white actors instead. So they’re the white maximoffs in my eyes and not the maximoffs i love from the comics, especially since pietro is dead and wanda’s power set has been incredibly skewed for the movie because they want to avoid the word ‘mutants’. 

From what I’ve read, the little girl in the tutu wasn’t wanda at all and wanda was upstairs in her room. I believe it was a deleted scene for dofp. I don’t think she’ll make an appearance at all actually. Marvel have Wanda and Fox have Pietro. They’d probably rather not mix the brands.
