Idea: Clint dies instead. T*ny still dies. Nat and Steve return all the stones. Nat maintains her status leading the current roster of Avengers. Thor does not fuck off to wherever with the guardians. He stays helps Valkyrie and Asgard regain it's footing. Steve retires as Cap hands the shield to Sam. Bucky also retires. Rhodey carries on T*ny's legacy and also attends a support group with Steve, Bucky, Wanda and maybe Thor occasionally.

Steve, Sam, and Natasha mentor Peter on the side, with the permission of Aunt May. Wakanda establishes another outreach in NY and so we occasionally see Shuri, Nakia, Okoye, and T'challa.(Maybe we could see MJ, Brulk, and Ned volunteer here).

Peter Quill losing his shit over Cap being alive and Scott going "I know, right?? 😃😃" and everyone realizing that they have another goofy ally. Wasp joining the Avengers. The Avengers establishing Pym/Bill as an occasional ally.

Fury, Hill, and Sharon re-building SHIELD. (Steve and Sharon resolve their thing). Jane returns as a science bro and so does Betty and Helen.

The ending scene is the a stevenat wedding at the farm (which is super symbolic for their past issues regards building/having a life and/or family [the AOU mess]). They end up co-parenting the Barton kids with Laura. Wanda finds younger siblings in them (maybe Peter).

Everyone remembers the past while trying to build and protect the future. No more time hijinks and heists. No holding onto the past when they can have a enormous, chaotic, dysfunctional, idiotic, family in the present.
