Roberto Grossi - “GAZA (canzone per i bambini nel buio)” feat. Alessandra Ravizza
Il cantautore savonese torna con un brano rock d’impegno civile
dedicato ai bambini palestinesi
«Non mi illudo certo che una banale canzone possa cambiare qualcosa, è forse più un'esigenza personale di sfogare l’angoscia e la rabbia per questa tragedia. Ma credo che comunque sia importante non tacere, non voltarsi dall'altra parte di fronte ad un simile orrore. Io l'ho fatto così.» Roberto Grossi
"Gaza” è un brano che Roberto Grossi ha scritto e pubblicato nel 2009 con la band “Subbuglio!”, dedicato ai bambini della Striscia stremati dai bombardamenti e dalla distruzione delle operazioni militari israeliane.
Di fronte alla drammatica situazione attualmente in corso il cantautore decide di ripubblicare la canzone all’interno del suo progetto solista ricantandola insieme ad Alessandra Ravizza (cantante dei Rebis).
Per aumentare l’impatto del messaggio contenuto nella canzone Roberto Grossi ha personalmente realizzato il videoclip che descrive con queste parole:
“Quello in corso a Gaza è stato definito come il primo genocidio documentato e filmato in diretta delle stesse vittime. Sono filmati di reporter e di semplici cittadini; alcuni di loro probabilmente oggi non sono più vivi.”

Il brano è stato suonato da Antonio Di Salvo alle chitarre, Roberto Rosa al basso, Cristiano Carcano alla batteria e Alessio Briano alle tastiere.
La pre-produzione è stata affidata ad Alessandro Mazzitelli, mentre i mixaggi e il mastering sono stati realizzati da Marco Barusso, uno dei più noti sound engineer italiani.
Architetto, organizzatore e direttore artistico di eventi culturali, Roberto Grossi ha militato come cantante e autore di musiche e testi nella band “Subbuglio!” con cui ha realizzato un album, alcuni singoli, numerosi concerti e spettacoli teatrali.
Il brano è il terzo singolo, dopo “Ma quando vieni al mare” uscito lo scorso giugno e “Chiama Quando Vuoi” pubblicato ad ottobre, che anticipa l’album in uscita il prossimo mese di Marzo, suo primo lavoro come cantautore solista, nato dall’incontro con la producer e cantautrice bolognese Helle (Lisa Brunetti), che ne ha curato gran parte degli arrangiamenti.

“Rinasceró, rinascerai” has been arranged by Danilo Ballo with the mixing of Marco Barusso, the choirs has been sung by a group of voices from Bergamo gathered thanks to the collaboration of Daniele Vavassori, and by the wonderful voice of Valeria Caponnetto Delleani, while the guitars on the finale are played by Diego Arrigoni, guitarist of Modà.

Il secondo singolo che anticipa l’uscita dell’album d’esordio del cantautore ligure
L’importanza di sentirsi vicini.
“Chiama quando vuoi” è l'ultima canzone in ordine cronologico nata in sala prove con la band, canzone che vede il rinnovato contributo artistico di Lisa Brunetti (in arte Helle), producer e cantautrice bolognese che ritroveremo nella produzione artistica di tutto quel che sarà il primo progetto musicale del cantautore ligure. Un lavoro di produzione che ha portato le sonorità verso direzioni ricche anche di sperimentazioni elettroniche.
«È un brano che racconta di amicizia e solidarietà, dell'importanza , nei momenti complicati, di farsi sentire vicini alle persone che abbiamo a cuore e di sentirle vicine quando ne abbiamo bisogno; parla di come è fondamentale continuare a incoraggiare ed essere incoraggiati lottare per le cose che vogliamo, senza mai arrendersi. Ho passato recentemente un periodo particolarmente difficile e mi ha dato molto coraggio ascoltare più volte dagli amici la frase che ho poi scelto come titolo di questa canzone». Roberto Grossi
