Galician, basque and catalan names that Felipe and Letizia could/should have used
So, if you have been following me for some time, you may have see me moan occasionally about the lack of Leonor and Sofía’s middle names, and even more about them not using galician, basque and catalan names.
Giving the fact that Spain is a multicultural country with 3 more co-oficial languages I feel they should have made a nod to them. This is specially important because those 3 languages were forbidden since the Middle Ages (and only survived because people were too stubborn to stop talking them) and those names were only legally accepted recently. @misshonoriaglossop wanted a list so I’m making one and some of you may enjoy that too.
P.S: I bolded my faves
P.S.S: These names are not only used in Galicia, Euskadi and Catalonia. They are used across Spain
