Meet the Wayfarers, our opening group bound for MountainClan!
(Thanks to Courtney for the art and Ruby for the opening pitch!)
The Wayfarers are descended from a group of cats that left MountainClan following an interclan dispute generations ago, in search of a better way of life and a stronger connection to their ancestors. Led by the Trailblazer- a cat descended from the original StarClan chosen they followed, who functions as a combination of the leader and steward role- the Wayfarers have lived as long as they can remember in a nomadic lifestyle. These cats who take such pride in their spiritual nature and traditions are about to finally stumble across the original source of them: the very Clan they once divided from...

The Iberian Clans
Hello and welcome to my blog. The Iberian clans is my very self-indulgent warriors project focused on my 5 fanclans: Duneclan, Seaclan, Mountainclan, Brookclan, and Clayclan. I’ve been working on it for over 10 years now but only recently found it in me to start posting about it again. I love worldbuilding and will mostly focus on it, I take a fantasy approach while still keeping some ‘realistic’ aspects to it, like genetics.

blossomclan was the first clan to be founded. originally a group of cats who stowed away on boats or simply cats who were brought to the clans' territory, many of the cats had heard stories of the clans and adapted their traditions. the group had existed for a good amount of season-cycles before the moonfalls were discovered. a young cat named cherry was chosen by the clan to become leader, and so they were gifted nine lives by starclan and named cherrystar. they named the clan blossomclan, after the cherry blossom trees of their territory.
typhoonclan was next. a kittypet by the name of doppler, owned by a pair of meteorologists, joined the very young blossomclan, though he didn't take a clan name. when the clan discovered the nearby beach, he and some other cats decided to move there. doppler didn't become leader, instead naming a cat by the name of stormflame leader. the clan was named due to the beach's unfortunately common severe weather.
mountainclan was third. a young blossomclan molly named peakpaw always dreamed of climbing the mountains you could see from the camp. and so, one day, she decided to do so. the clan saw her off, though no one expected her to be able to do it - later on, though, she came back as peakstar, claiming starclan gave her nine lives at the mountain's peak. while most didn't believe the exact details of her story, she did truly have nine lives, and so she formed her own clan at the base of the mountain... after finishing her apprentice training.
the newest and youngest clan to form is bambooclan. there had been peaceful cats living in the bamboo forest for seasons, some saying they were there even before blossomclan first made impact, though no one's sure on the precise details. hearing stories of the clans, a cat named panda set off to ask about them. xe reached the gathering spot as a gathering was going and asked about clan life; the leaders encouraged xim to make his own clan. xe was given nine lives by starclan, though xe kept xir name. while many cats in the bamboo forest chose to maintain their peaceful lifestyle - with bambooclan's protection - some preferred it, and some cats from the other clans joined as well. bambooclan is the most peaceful clan due to their former passive lifestyle.
