okay... but youre not allowed to make fun of me... its called "50 tea recipes from the duchess." korean woman gets fired, gets isekai'd into the body of a duchess who is timid to the point of patheticness and everybody fuckin hates her. is like uggghh well i dont care if im hated as long as i have my special interest: TEA. and with her autistic girl swag (label pending) she makes both the society and her cold intimidating husband love her. 70% of it is her infodumping about tea to the delight of everyone around her.

I just want to talk about how much I love the “It’s not what you think it is” marketing for the Barbie movie.

Because, in every seriousness, the Barbie movie is something that has to be experienced. Preparation removes that level of experience, the visceral nature of the unexpected, the rawness of being confronted by the messages the movie has in the ways it tells them.

Like, I completely refuse to even do my oblique “makes sense in context” quips about spoilers, because I genuinely want everyone to watch it and have the experience.

That being said….

I’d love to see if anyone who has seen the movie is able to identify exactly what these three “Only way I’m willing to describe them” moments are:

The line that had the entire theatre laughing for a full minute, because yeah, you’re right, thank you for admitting that.

The line that murders everyone with zero remorse.

The entire *vague helpless jazz hands of speechlessness* that just, thank you for having the guts to just run with that once my brain recovered my life is so much better.
