Hi! Do you have something like a playlist/soundtrack (on Spotify/Deezer/YT) for this fanfic? If not then, in case you were to make a playlist, or a soundtrack which songs would you choose?

Hey anon! Yes, in fact, there are multiple playlists because of the sheer length of the story (I have no exact idea how long it will be in chapter numbers, but I am afraid it will be around 100-125 total chapters for the main fic alone. I suspect the first arc to be around 35-40 chapters long already). Sing to Me has three major arcs and I made playlists for each on Spotify. Occasionally I add new songs to the playlists as I see them fit. All playlists are sorted by the order of events happening, and I may also at some point go into detail explaining each song choice and which chapter or scene it belongs to. Music is one of my main sources of inspiration, which is also reflected in the story title itself (it's named after Sing to Me by MISSIO, the song is also a part of Death Stranding's original soundtrack).

I Come with Knives, Sing to Me's prequel story which is entirely about Sam's past before running into Desperado and Armstrong around March 2016 (because his DLC was lovely but not enough lore for my liking) also has a Playlist of its own, but it is not nearly as consistent or close to finished as those for the main story.

Something I haven't seen anyone taking about regarding The Roaring Knight is this song that Toby showed off in the waiting room for the livestream that went on to announce Chapter 2's release.

Describing the song and why it was scrapped, he said the following:

The arrangement is really early, but I created this thinking of an animated intro for the game, similar to Wild Arms. I still see it in my head when I listen to the song.The best part would have been at the end when everyone is running up the staircase as the silhouettes of the bosses from all the chapters show up, and the Knight, standing in a white door at the top of the stairs, turns around and looks down at them...

There are a couple of interesting talking points here:

Asuming the "everyone" listed is referring to either just the fun gang (i.e. Kris, Susie and Ralsei), or the fun gang and it's extended members (i.e. Including Berdly, Noelle, and anyone else we might meet later on), this would mean that the Knight isn't any of these people. Which, I suppose, is only really evidence to counter Kris being the Knight, since not many of the other people mentioned were really condisered candidated in the first place.

The mentioned location features here could be important, though we can't really relate it to anything we've seen thus far. Card Castle had staircases and portraits, but no white doors. I do find it interesting that he refers to "the" staircase, but "a" white door.

The Knight in this scenario is portrayed as a sort of main antagonist, or final boss type figure. After all, who else do you showcase at the top of a staircase where all the preceding bosses have been shown, glaring down at the main characters? This would seem to suggest that the knight is both not a friendly figure, and is someone the gang will definitley have to face in battle at some point. Because of this, I'm also less willing to lend credance to theories that place characters like Papyrus in the position of the Knight, though I'm not sure if that ever had any traction to begin with.

Combining the general image of the Knight that seems to be portrayed here with the fact that we know from Queens end of Ch2 monolouge that they created the Cyber City Fountain, and it seems like the closet that 'could easily fit a large persion inside' is likely to have been where they hid to create that dark world, while Noelle and Berdly were still in the room. Though, following what seems to be the rules of fountains in other locations, they likely would have had to open the closet door first.

Just before Covid ended life as we know it, I directed Thornton Wilder's "Our Town." It was a dream project of mine. A passion project. I first saw "Our Town" performed in the early 1990s and I loved it ever since. My #1 favorite play. Thornton Wilder is an amazing writer. He won two Pulitzer Prizes, one of them for "Our Town." (The other for the amazing, "The Bridge of San Luis Rey.")

I had a lot of ideas about how I was going to stage "Our Town". One item was, I didn't want any pre-show music. I wanted nature sounds to play as the audience arrived.

The year before "Our Town" I had traveled to Walden Pond. (I also love Henry David Thoreau.) And my intention was to make sound recordings at Walden Pond to use for "Our Town." But Walden Pond is so industrialized now, wherever I went in Concord, Massachusetts's cars could be heard on the road. I couldn't get the recording I wanted.

So, I cheated. I discovered a website that lets you make your own nature mp3s. You get to decide how much rain, how much wind, how many birds, what type of birds, etc. etc. etc. And then you can download it to do with however you like.

This is the 30 minutes of Nature Sounds mp3 I created as "pre show music" for "Our Town." It played gently in the theater as the audience arrived.
