I had come across a post where someone was asked what their top five Vision of Escaflowne songs were, and so I want to share mine!

I'm not really good at writing summaries for each song, but anyway...I hope you like the music!

First Vision

It originally plays as the opening sequence for the movie (personally one of my favorite parts) AND IT SLAPS!! Going from the feeling of flying to slaughtering all your enemies on board an airship to get back what's yours. Epic.

No Need for Promises

The opening sequence for the anime. It is sung by my favorite Japanese songstress, Maaya Sakamoto, and is probably one of the first Escaflowne songs I've heard. Here's the full version.

Sora

An insert song from the movie. It sounds so pretty! I use it as my alarm to tell me to go to bed.

Yubiwa

Another song for the movie, and sung by Maaya Sakamoto. It's also one of my first Escaflowne songs.

Dance of Curse

An insert song in the anime (and a different version in the movie) that is used when the Escaflowne goes to battle. I really like the fervent sound of the violins in the beginning.

Memory of Fanelia

An orechestral rendition of 'Aoi Hitomi', this song is also pretty!

If you think you've heard this song before, you have (it's also in the 'First Vision song). This makes you feel like you're flying, right? I sometimes use it as the alarm to wake me up.

I saw @wardog-of-the-endless post about this, and thought it was pretty cool. There is a website that will give you a color palette based on whatever word you input.

There is a Kdrama currently airing called 'A Good Day To Be A Dog' where the main character turns into a dog when kissed due to a curse. There is one guy that can break her curse, but he's afraid of dogs.

I should watch it, and imagine KagaKuro in this scenario.

So, I was thinking about a Jdrama I watched several years ago called 'RESCUE' where it focused on the firefighters in orange. Then I remembered Kagami and Makoto are frequently drawn as firefighters, so I looked up about their uniforms (mainly because I thought the orange was like REALLY special). According to Wikipedia:

Kagami is usually drawn wearing orange, so he's a rescuer (highlighted in red). Makoto is drawn wearing the black one, so he's a specialized firefighter (highlighted in green).

I just thought that was pretty neat.
