Top10 Switch Ports; part 1
A little bit different post today. I am going to make a list of previously released games I hope get ported to the Nintendo Switch in the coming year. This list will consist of last generation and current generation 3rd party games and will not include games that I personally do not think can run on the console (so no Witcher 3 unfortunately). 10. Metal Gear Solid 5. Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain is one of my favourite games of this generation. Its beautiful, the story is wacky and most of all the stealth action game play is fantastic. With the game already being a cross generation game, it could very easily run on the Switch without much consessions. However, publisher Konami seems to have little interest in their gaming sector so seeing this on the Switch is unlikely. 9. Batman Return to Arkham Collection. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were two of last generations biggest surprises and comercial hits. The metroidvania style progression system and combo based combat define the Arkham series and having that experience portable on the Switch would be outstanding. I had thought about including Arkham Knight however I have serious reservations on that game running on current Switch hardware. 8. Overwatch In 2016, Blizzard's hero shooter Overwatch took the world by storm. Over a year later the game is still going strong and has even spawned it's own professional league. Colorful characters and fast paced action make it perfect for the Switch. Overwatch however may be the most unlikely game on this list to come to the Switch. It is not because of framerate, image quality or resolution but because of Nintendo's online service. Overwatch would require a strong connection and reliable servers and it is uncertain whether or not Nintendo's online infrastructure can handle a game like Overwatch. Here is hoping when paid online access launches next year, these concerns are dealt with. 7. South Park The Fractured But Whole Matt and Trey's latest South park game may of just released last month but Switch owners are still holding out hope for a Switch port. The Fractured but Whole features a strategy turn based combat system that may remind Nintendo fans of the Fire Emblem series. I have high hopes for a Switch version due to Nintendo's relationship with South Park publisher Ubisoft and using the same engine as Mario + Rabbids. Here is hoping we finally get the follow up to the classic South Park 64 on the N64. 6. Far Cry 3/4 Collection Openworld first person shooters is a genre Nintendo doesn't normally feature on their consoles but Far Cry 3 and 4 belong on the Switch. Far Cry 3, a previous generation game, and Far Cry 4, are large, meaty and colorful shooters and contrast well to the grim and linear shooters like Doom and Wolfenstein 2 both coming to the Switch. As mentioned with South Park, Nintendo's relationship with Ubisoft leads me to believe that we may get a whole bunch of Ubisofts best games capable of running on the Switch much like Far Cry. So part one is done. I will be back tomorrow with part 2 of the list. Who will be number one? -Rob

Episode 4? Guess this is a thing now then.
New Game Farts every Thursday FOREVER, I guess. Sorry about that. Until the end of time now, us, and later AI constructs of us, will be farting out gaming news - it will be a race to the end of the universe between us, The Simpsons and Disney's Star Wars movies to see who lasts the longest. It will be us. It will be Game Fart. We will beat you Al Jean... (http://www.weepodcast.com)
In this fart of gaming pleasure Lord Matthew, Peter and Aaron discuss several topics, most of which surround an infamous Ubi Soft controller button puzzle game...
Its an ASSASSIN'S CREED special this week! Not that there is anything special about Assassin's Creed, I mean, they usually shit one out every 12 months. But the GAME FART guys investigate what makes it good, bad and ugly anyway. (Notice we have two negatives and only one positive in our show format, making Assassin's Creed an excellent candidate for our show.)
