Vacation Or Honeymoon? | O.P81

Summary: After being terribly busy, you and Oscar finally get some time to spend with each other by going on a vacation. But is it really a vacation or a honeymoon?

“Ugh this winter is sucking ass!” you complain as you get comfortable in your bed, trying to warm yourself up. Oscar chuckles at your words as he actually imagined winter sucking someone’s ass. “Why?” he asks. “You know why” you say, sounding grumpy. You were looking up at the ceiling with furrowed brows as you decided to not look at Oscar, at all. “I do?” he asks as he puts his phone down and turns to your side. His face resting on his palm as he looked at you with loving eyes.

“Of course you do. Oscar we’ve been dating for three years now and this is the first time where we’re not going anywhere. We’ve both been so busy lately and we finally got some time together. I don’t wanna waste it just by staying home. Let’s go somewhere this winter” you say, starting to get a bit emotional. “Come here” he says as he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you closer to him. “But it’s fine if you don’t want to” you say, playing with his soft curls.

You don’t know how but you actually fell asleep after that. Somehow his touch never failed to comfort you. He always makes you feel alive. Every time.

“Oh God!” you scream out as you did your eyeliner the wrong way again. “Baby, you look good anyway. Stop stressing yourself out” Oscar says as he looks at you in the mirror from behind. “You don’t get it Osc, I’ve been trying for like an hour now” you say wiping it off and taking a deep breath. You grab your eyeliner again and Oscar takes it away from you and puts it in his pocket. “I know, I’ve been standing here for an hour now. Look at me, baby you look absolutely perfect. With or without eyeliner. So let’s skip this tonight, okay?” he asks softly as he cups your cheeks with his hand. “Okay” you agree nodding lightly. “Good because we’re getting late now” he says as he kisses your forehead. “Wait, did you just compliment me because we’re getting late and we need to be there on time?” you ask Oscar as he starts to giggle. You just roll your eyes and lightly slap his chest.

“So how’s your winter going?” Lando asks you as he places the wine bottle down on the table. “Like shit” you complain resting your head on Oscar’s shoulder. “Like shit? Why?” Lando asks as he starts to snicker at you two. “Thank you” Oscar says as Lando hands him and you a glass of wine. “Because this winter sucks” you complain again and Lando nods, agreeing with you.

“Why don’t you two go on a vacation then? That’s so simple” Lando suggests as you nod. “I already told Osc about it” you say as Lando looks at Oscar for a response and he just nods mouthing a ‘she did’ to him.

You then sit up straight and hold Oscar’s hand, turning to his side. “Let’s go to Switzerland, please. It’ll be so fun” you plead, looking at him with pleading eyes. “Switzerland is just-” before he could finish Lando interrupts him. “Y/n, you’re not going on your honeymoon, come on. Go to Bali instead” he says as you just get annoyed by his interruption. “Switzerland is a honeymoon place but Bali is not?!” You shout at Lando. “How can I know? I’ve never been on my honeymoon” he says, totally unbothered as he takes a sip of his wine. You roll your eyes and just try your best to control your anger, “Lando stop it, for fucks sake”

“Baby listen to me. I know you want to go to Switzerland but let’s not this time. For me, yeah?” Oscar asks you, looking at you in the eye. “Fine” you say looking down at your lap. “Okay, I’ll go and pack my stuffs then” Lando says as he starts to get up. “W-what wait, where are you going?” you question, sounding confused. Lando stops mid way and turns around, “With you two? Bali?” he clarified. “Lando, no. You’re staying here. No Bali for you. Stop inviting yourself” you stated coldly. “Alright fine” he said as he sat down again.

Oscar knew that you’re upset and probably mad at him. But he had to choose Bali instead of Switzerland.

Why? Because it was planned already.

-1 week ago-

“Just don’t take her anywhere for a while” Lando says as Oscar starts to shook his head. “But why? This doesn’t have anything to do with my proposal” he argues but Lando just gets pissed by it. “You just have to show her that you don’t want to go anywhere for a while or just ignore her for a while. This will work, I swear” he says, assuring him that it’ll be fine. “But I can’t ignore her” Oscar says softly. “Then don’t! But just do it according to the plan” Lando states as Oscar just nods. “Bali is going be the best destination for your proposal I’m telling you. You bring her to my place and I’ll do the rest for you” he advised Oscar.

-Present-

“You do know that I’m going to Bali just because of you, right?” You ask him, sounding a bit annoyed. Oscar closes the luggage zipper and looks at you. Letting out a sigh. Probably mixed with a bit of guilt. He comes closer to you and caresses your cheeks. “I know baby, I know” he says as he makes you look up at him. You just lightly nod and don’t say anything. “Ready to go?” He asks and you just nod, nothing else.

You don’t know why you were giving him this silent treatment but you did.

“Welcome to Bali, sir! Welcome to Bali, ma’am!” A guy right outside the airport greets you two. He opens his car door and you assume he’s a driver. “The weather seems nice here” you say, looking out of the car. Oscar smiles at you and brushes his hand on your thigh. “It’s good?” he asks softly. You look at him and smile, “It’s good”

“Ready for our vacation?” he asks, holding his hand out for you to hold on to. “Mhm” you say, smiling at him and getting out of the car. Your mouth fell open when you saw a lavishing welcome waiting for you. The whole Kaba Kaba Estate dressed up with golden lights for you. “Oh my God, when did you do this?” you ask him, still stunned by it’s beauty. “Do you like it?” He asks, hoping for a positive response. “Osc baby, I love it!” You practically scream and hug him tightly. “Well, then good for me because we have it all to ourselves for a month” he says, smirking a little at you. “For a month?! All to ourselves?! No you did not” you say, doubting his words but he just shook his head and you knew that he wasn’t really kidding with you.

Right after freshening up you both went out for dinner. Everything seemed so dreamy to you. You never knew you would enjoy your trip to Bali. Sometimes you don’t even know how you ended up with him. And you don’t even know how you ended up cuddling with him right now after getting back from dinner.

“Thank you” you say, as you let out a tired sigh. Your eyes started to uncontrollably close from all the tiredness. Oscar’s arm holds you more tightly “Why baby?” he questions you. “For this lovely trip and I’m sorry I was complaining like a baby” Oscar giggles at your words. “But you are a baby” he says as you get annoyed again.

“Ah stop it Osc!”

“Never!”

-3 days later-

“Where do we go now?” you ask him, sounding excited. Oscar smiles at you and kisses your cheek lightly, “Lempuyang Temple” he says and you give him a questioning look, not knowing what exactly that temple is. After arriving there, Oscar tells you he will be back in a minute and just vanished somewhere. Meanwhile you took some pictures for your Instagram stories and posts. But, you start to get worried as he takes much more time and you’re there standing there all alone.

“Baby?” Oscar calls out as you turn around to find him. You start to laugh like a kid when you see him wearing a traditional dress called Sarong. “Oh my God! Oscar, you look so adorable!” you compliment him as he starts to get a little shy. “Come on, now it’s your turn” he says as he pulls you close to him. “What? No, Osc I’m not wearing that. You look good but I won’t” you say and Oscar just ignores you. “Shh, baby you have to” he says, more like he orders you.

Well it wasn’t a bad idea at all. You both had a good time at the temple wearing sarongs and taking a bit of rest in the shade area.

-Oscar’s POV-

“God, she’s so beautiful” he thinks in his mind as he watches Y/N roaming around the La Brisa beach club. Her hair looks so beautifully brown in the golden light. Her white top looking perfect with her beige skirt. She looks so beautiful.

I can’t wait to call her my wife.

“Osc, where’s my phone? I need to take a picture of the sky, it looks so pretty” she says standing in front of me. “Here” I say handing her the phone. “Thank you baby” she says smiling at you and starting to walk away but I grab her wrist, pulling her close to me. “What’s wrong?” she asks, getting a little shy. “You’re so beautiful” I say, meaning every little word I spilled. She could tell that I meant it just by looking at my eyes. Somehow my eyes could never hide the love I have for her.

-1 week later-

“Osc where’s my char-” your words stops when you see the room you and Oscar share filled with roses. Candles lit everywhere. But what shocked you the most is seeing Oscar on his knees looking up at you with fond eyes. He then got a little blue box out of his pocket and opens it. The box carried an Aquamarine ring in platinum from Tiffany And Co. Your mouth fell open, not being able to process the whole situation. “Oscar…” you honestly don’t know what you can say after that. “No wait, I got this” he says as he clears his throat a little which makes you crack up a little.

“Y/n, we both know that all these three years wasn’t all just happy and healthy. We had our bad times as well Every argument, every fights every little inconvenience happened because of me and somehow you always forgave me for it. You always excepted my mistakes. I mean, I even missed your birthday because I had to race. But you didn’t complain at all. I also didn’t even take you to Switzerland. Because I planned everything here. For you. I know I can never ever be the perfect one for you, but till the day I die I’m gonna try heart and soul to be the perfect one for you.” You start to tear up. Not being able to think straight.

Is this really happening? Is he really proposing to me?

“I know that you don’t like crowded spaces so here we are. Right in our room. Talking about our little things.”You just nod, not being able to get a word out. “Let’s grow old together. Let’s argue with each other for the rest of our lives.” You wipe your tears and let out a small laugh.

“Y/n, sweetheart will you marry me?”

It really is happening. He really is proposing to me

“Yes, yes, yes!” You screamed out. Oscar then took the ring out and wrapped it around your finger. “I love you so much” he says as he pulls you closer and kisses you. Filling the whole room with love and passion. “I love you too” you say as you kiss him back.
