My favorite fucking part of Outer Wilds is that before you can set foot in your actual ship, the game gives you a model ship to "practice" flying. But this thing is VASTLY more difficult to pilot than the actual ship. So the first time you hop into your ship is this nail-bitingly terrifying experience because you're expecting to just flip end over end and explode immediately

Anyway play Outer Wilds if you get the chance, it's a really cute space exploration game where you play as an alien species traveling through your solar system to other planets, trying to put together the story of the mysterious species that came before you.

There's fun and snarky dialogue options, the planets are fucking wild, you can roast marshmallows for health, there's varied gravity movement dynamics, and you can track and find other explorers from your planet by following the sound of their unique instruments and songs.

Also you're trapped in a terrible time loop where every time you die in a horrific way, you wake up next to the campfire right at the beginning with no one else aware of the loop. This means that the environments and characters you interact with are different depending on when you reach them in the loop so it's very much worth revisiting places to see how things change and what is available to you. There is, for example, a planet that is getting steadily torn apart by a black hole and how intact it is depends on how quickly you reach it.

Just be warned that it can be very difficult to handle if you're afraid of heights and/or prone to motion sickness.
