i imagine leo kind of freaking out at first bc usagi has never seemed to care about that kind of stuff and shows no interest in other people so leo always kinda assumed that usagi just didn't want a relationship ever . they never talked about relationships much and usagi just rolled with the unserious flirtatious jokes and leo's already had his freak out about being gay (or somewhere adjacent) a good while ago and things remained the same between them . but like this changes p much everything !! (except it doesn't but i'll explain that later)

leo actually cannot see himself spending his life with anyone else. he could date other people but usagi is ALWAYS going to be his person and he knows that he's usagi's without even having to ask . it's been that way for yrs at this point . they have seen each other at their worst and their best . like that's his mf HOMIE . but he's scared about how this is going to change their relationship bc he doesn't want to lose one of the best people he's ever met or have their dynamic off kilter so he sits on it for a while, and he's just falling deeper the whole time !!

well little does he know that usagi actually feels the same way, but he's fine if their relationship never goes anywhere . he doesn't think it would change much in the scheme of things but he still doesn't ask leo outright bc he's fine just being friends, but leo is the first person he's ever felt this way about (i hc him as being on the ace/aro spectrum) and he also doesn't want to lose their dynamic but he's not as freaked out bc like i said, he's never cared much for relationship stuff !!! it's not something he ever thought he would get to receive or reciprocate so he just never put it in his priority cards u know ??? but leo is just so endearing that he can't help but be like man . i would be so cool being w this guy for the rest of my life HAHAHA

and leo is so fucking giddy he is smiling like an idiot and he grabs usagi's hands and he's like "my homie in future matrimony lmfao" and usagi LAUGHS bc leo is such a dumbass but he's endearing as fuck and leo is so happy he made usagi laugh bc he can remember a time when the guy barely even smiled and it's just crazy how much they've both changed each other for the better .

I've been in my feelings about Jo and Aoki's last interactions for a bit...

Because that whole scene is textbook verbal abuse, right... Aoki is very clearly trying to tear Jo's self-esteem and bolster his own, establish control, all that, and Jo just has to stand there meekly and take it. All because Jo's disobeyed one too many times and Aoki needs someone he knows he can control to head the Tokyo Omi Alliance.

Like Jo says he's never disobeyed Aoki except in that one instance, but not handling things himself at Otohime Land was very much his way of giving Ichi an out indirectly, and I feel like Aoki was beginning to catch on based on his comments about Jo neglecting the situation and acting strangely. Directly refusing his orders just confirmed his suspicions.

It's kind of lost among all the bombshells dropped in Chapter 13, but Jo's hesitance to kill anyone who's important to Arakawa is a big deal to me. It's not like he had any personal ties to Hoshino or any investment in maintaining the balance of the Ijin Three whatsoever; he went to those lengths to set himself up to be stopped because Arakawa wouldn't want Hoshino to die and that was it.

To return to the scene, I think it's also a great demonstration of Aoki's "those who use and those who get used" mentality. This next thing is... pretty badly mistranslated, at least in the subs, so it was lost on me for a while. But before the Lost Puppy line, the specific way Aoki chooses to downplay Jo's merit is by telling him he only got to his position because everyone was so sensitive to his (Aoki's) feelings and could tell he favored Jo, following him around like a lost puppy being precisely why Aoki favored him.

I don't think that was all there was to it, of course. Dude was five and deliberately brings Jo wherever he goes to this day by choice. It's kind of like those guys who get rejected once and start going on tirades about how "she should've been grateful, she was ugly anyway." But that's what Aoki wants to portray--you only had it that good because of me, and I can take it away whenever I want. Whenever you're no longer of use. Anything to preserve his status as the user and Jo's as the used.

Jo's crossed the line at this point. He is no longer of use. He does kind of get into it so that takes the edge off my frustration with The English Language, but from this point onward, he believes Aoki sees him as a "bullet"--a hitman only sent on suicide missions. So despite everything he's done for him, despite being "the favorite," he knows full well Aoki's trying to kill him before Aoki even gives Ishioda the order. And... he accepts it.

So TO GO FROM THAT to having to reconcile in prison would've been so much powerful than what the ending was trying to do. Having to come to terms with the fact you killed one of the only people who saw you for who you were and truly cared about you, were going to kill the other two, and have abused all three from the moment you realized you had power over them. And for Jo, going through everything he went through because of Aoki and loving him without question anyway... Getting to express that in some small way... I need to lie down...

It'd be the fact that Aoki'd have no choice but to confront those decisions he made and those things he wanted to happen. he'd made a social circle for himself where people predominantly liked him for the power and influence he had and totally turned his back on the people who- awfully ironically as he wanted- loved him for him

He'd already smoothed things over with Ichi, so- by his own hand- all that was left was Jo, the person he'd taken for granted the most next to Arakawa and who he planned to have executed alongside him. Jo's got every right to not forgive Aoki and to push him away, let each other rot in prison ignoring each other. So it's the worst feeling when Jo doesn't do that- its impossible for me not to imagine Jo wondering about what happened for Aoki to get so banged up if he's brought into prison the same night, and making sure Aoki's okay despite it.

Whereas Ichi was more upfront about his love and even frustrated about it ('frustrated' in that 'how could Aoki be so blind not to see how much care there is for him from us'), the breaking part about Jo is that he's forced himself to be so careful about showing his affection. Ichi's love was borderline irritating for how apparent it was: Jo's could have easily been written off or ignored.

All of that said, prison is where Aoki would be forced to realize that Jo does love him like Ichi said he does; there's no reason to keep up appearance or kiss up anymore- Aoki doesn't have any use to Jo anymore (if Aoki chose to interpret Jo's loyalties as a stepping stone to promote himself), and there's certainly no where else to run. It's probably that dawning moment that's gotta be so. Oh God What The Fuck. Like it's a sobering moment for him to go 'What have I been doing this whole time/what have I done to everyone', as corny as it sounds

I really liked the lamb family stuff you posted about awhile ago. It's something I don't see much of on this app unfortunately. Idk I'm rambling, cool art great designs. 👍

Ahhh yes, the family... To be honest I haven't delved much deeper than necessary into that, although from time to time I do have a couple of ideas here and there. I can drop a couple of facts here while we're at it:

• Avana (the Lamb) and Suemy (her sister) are twins. Avana was the maid of honor at her sister's wedding. The two of them used to be very close between games and pranks. The lamb used to help the sheep run away from home to visit her boyfriend when they were still young.

• Caleb (the ram's older brother) used to work in a blacksmith shop, thanks to that he had remarkable endurance and strength.

• Tragedy struck two days after Suemy's wedding. She and her partner died quickly while the Lamb and Caleb managed to escape and hide for a while. The ram protected Avana for months from heretics and beasts until he was finally killed in a surprise hit.

• The Lamb also had a friend... he could never confess his feelings to her but he gave his life to give them the opportunity to escape.

ok uhh headcannons

- through a series of jokes Rush has become a new yorker who listens to the foo fighters who’s constantly trying to find the bathroom. in all honestly i think it would be the type to pull pranks on people by screaming the weirdest stuff as it whizzes by. think the “Say “Colorado”!” “IM A GIRAFFE” vine. that’s Rush. it also says “Capiche?” a lot and the stereotypical “IM WALKIN’ HERE” line (which is actually used in it’s survival achievement iirc which is how the new-yorker joke came to be)

- Screech is an ipad kid. screech would throw a temper tantrum in a walmart for not being able to get the newest switch game. i would hit it with a car

- i don’t see enough shit about Hide (WHYYY OUUGGHHH) so i present my headcanon that we actually get to see it in-game. so yknow how it’s kind of omnipresent in a way? like it’s in all the wardrobes? don’t matter which one you go into, it’ll be there? (except in some choice levels of course) well that got me thinking about the eyes that pop up to indicate the Seek chase is coming. they’re all over the walls and there are a TON of them, so i headcanon those are Hide’s eyes, also the arms that pop out of the walls in the fire segment? Hide’s arms. it’s like a shapeshifting goopy mass that can be in multiple places at once. I imagine Seek is kind of the same way but just prefers a much more solid form. also the fact it can phase through solid objects as we see in the cutscene when the chase starts is interesting.

- Seek is like the only one Hide is nice to. Seek is also the only one who knocks on the wardrobes before entering to talk to Hide and will respect if it wants to be alone. Hide is very anti-social. They’re siblings and on good terms but don’t see each other that often at all

- i have yet to encounter ambush because i suck at everything but uhhh it and Rush are probably related somehow too

- Seek just melts if it gets stressed. Screech has learned this behavior too. the puddle on the floor? oh yeah it dropped its ice cream.

- Rush and Seek are kind of rivals and Rush has not let Seek live down the fact it just continuous fails to catch the player. When Seek brings up how Rush will just not even try to catch them it just says it doesn’t care and has a tight schedule (which it never elaborates on) and zips away

- this is a complete joke headcanon but i was thinking of how some entities like tie into each other and my brain thought of how Screech has Rush’s smile and Seek’s goopiness and uhhh now they are divorced and share custody rights

I bring you more thoughts because why not! These are all angst because that's what's been on the mind, so like, fair warning, I don't think it's anyhing too bad, just some mildly upsetting thoughts

Kinda a theory, more like an AU or just a cool thought, but like, what if qTubbo and Sunny manage to go back however long, but the Fed finds out, and Tubbo is locked up somewhere that's not the ice prison, or he's turned into a Fed worker, and Sunny is also brainwashed and it turns Sunny is Egg A1, or worse, Hope, left alone with an idea of what a family is but purposefully left behind to never find their father or a new family?

Anyways :)

Something happens to Sunny because of the Fed and qTubbo decides he has to destroy them, because, duh, so he manages to run away because this Fed doesn't have as much experience with him, and he gets to Egg Island, hoping to find the breakfast trio (and maybe the other eggs) early, but he can't for whatever reason (maybe he's just too early), so he decides he'll set up shop there as he tests and theory-crafts ways to stop the Fed, forming a new entity/organisation/group composed of only him, and he uses the Eye symbol from Ordo Theoritas, and he makes little guys who are kinda like the eggs to cope, and before he knows it, he's become the Watcher and is starting the first Purgatory, kidnapping these test subjects the Fed has in order to make them stronger but also for his own entertainment?

But wait! I can make this hurt worse!

What if the Fed captured Sunny but kept her around, alive, still growing, and eventually they hatch! And they live pretty well for a while, as a dragon, flying around what used to be their old home in a different future, and eventually this Sunny that's already grown lays eggs, when a loud rumbling sound, a huge explosion, scares her off, and she leaves her eggs, only for the Federation to swoop in and steal them for experiments? What if this Sunny is the dragon all the islanders' eggs came from?

ouugghhh angst is not something i think about a lot but the concept of people going back in time to try and fix something only to end up being the ones hurting the people in their future is so fun and so interesting

i think sunny being the dragon that laid the first eggs particularly is interesting to think about, but especially with tubbo being the eye watcher because maybe sunny flew back there and idk. they reunite? a father lost to time but recognising his daughter even after she’s so grown, or, if people want it even more angsty Tubbo kills the dragon because he has no clue who it is!

i do think that whatever they do, whatever they TRY to do, Tubbo always ends up frozen in a prison of his own making. He chose to go back in time and mess with it, and he has to face the consequences

More about the bad end AU!! (temporary name)

So Sunny isn’t injured and doesn’t feel any pain when he wakes up, but there’s blood splattered underneath him, so he knows he WAS injured. Pretty gruesomely too, which he tries not to think about.

A bunch of people passing on the street saw what happened, which means his friends know he attempted suicide, and the doctors at the hospital are now looking at him as a medical marvel. And on top of that, he doesn’t know how or why he survived— what happened wasn’t consistent. He still has old scars, he was injured by Basil just earlier, even after he dies (?) he can be cut and bruised.

So the AU is sort of a supernatural mystery/character study where Sunny (and Basil, and Omori) try to figure out why he didn’t die, while dealing with panic and anger of his Kel, Hero and Aubrey, the constant vigilance of the doctors, news reporters, AND religious fanatics. After not going out of the house for four years.

ouugghhh this is a tough one because I'm proud of many of them for very different reasons!! If I scored 'em on a Proudness Rubric (with the criteria of like, craft, character, etc.), I think gray areas and expectations (Horizon, Aloy/Talanah) would come out on top. But it's really hard to choose between your children!!!

Iris, Cynthia, and Hau’s conversation in the last ask got me curious, where they learned about Cynthia and Gira sharing a body.

If all the champions could fuse with a legendary or mythical Pokémon which ones would they chose? And what abilities do they get/changes would happen to them?

Ouugghhh no bc I want it to be smth like they just choose the legendary of their region (like how Cyn has Gira), but also I know Lance would like a Dragon type legendary and Steven a Rock/Steel legendary and idk if the ones on their own respective region would fit them bcmxnd hahah

But hey I'm one for rambling abt my concepts so hey have hahah

For Lance, if we're going w the legends of their region thing, I'd imagine him w Ho-oh, mainly cause he knows abt the legend of Ho-oh and how it could grant eternal happiness and such, and nothing would give Lance eternal happiness other than mass genocide— nah I'm kidding, but death of others is still involved his happiness tho— but yeah idk how'd he'd actually get like, the Rainbow Wing and the Clear Bell maybe, but ofc he probably has his ways. And it kinda sucks ig bc Ho-oh shows himself to those who are pure of heart, and Lance at this point has his heart tainted by such a darkness that even Ho-oh couldn't fathom how a human could have so much hatred in them. But yknow maybe Lance did force an agreement w Ho-oh, wanted that power, caught him with his own Master Ball and maybe did some really questionable stuff that almost makes Rocket proud. For the lil features thing, idk I want him to have Ho-oh's wings hahah and like the ability to use Fire and Flying moves. Imagine him just using Sacred Fire on the ones who stand on his way tho, going on how it was more.. fun.. to see them slowly burn and be reduced to ashes than to just watch them instantly die w Dragonite's Hyper Beam

For Steven,, idk, but like,,, imagine Jirachi hahah. Like it's Steel/Psychic too, and it can grant any wishes. I imagine Steven trying to find Jirachi just to grant his wish. And it somewhat came true, Wallace became his partner, and the two of em are so happy together. But, seeing his husband struggle did not sit right w him, and so he ventured again, looking for Jirachi, but this time asking more than he did before. Jirachi tells him that it could only grant so much, could grant one at a time, and Steven already wished once, but nah, the Devon heir did not take it lightly. Fought Jirachi and won, and he wished that the two of them would become one, w Jirachi being forbidden to ever talk, and for him to grant Steven all the power he had; and as much as Jirachi wanted to deny Steven's wish, he's pretty sure he's gonna die a brutal death if he refused, and so he granted it. And hey, since then Steven could just kinda wish for anything and it'd happen, and hey, it's nice seeing the people of Hoenn appreciate Wallace yknow, and if they don't, well.. wish making isn't the only thing he got from Jirachi*

For Wallace it's clear it's gon be Kyogre cmon now hahah, like he knows where Kyogre is, knows just what to do to please it so it'd follow his commands, knows where the blue orb is, bc he has it w him. And imagine how cool it'd be, if Wallace has like a mini version of the blue orb that he has as a necklace after he and Kyogre fused, and when it's triggered and such, Wallace would have Kyogre's markings on his own skin too, summoning a neverending rainstorm, the tides becoming more and more violent with each breath, and he's there making sure those who oppose him will drown in the darkest depths of the sea

For Iris, idk that Kyurem thing low-key cool tho, bc imagine if Nate did leave Kyurem to Drayden along w the DNA Splicers too, saying how Plasma isn't around anymore, it's better to leave it to a person who knows what he's actually going to do w it. But yknow, Drayden is getting old, he can't always be there to look after Kyurem and guard the DNA Splicers, so he left that in the hands of Iris, he knows she's capable. What he didn't expect (and I wanna say he's also unaware of it) was for Iris to use Kyurem's powers like how Plasma used it, to freeze everyone solid, killing them with the bitter cold. And yknow maybe Iris hid that well, or maybe she already did fuse w Kyurem herself, she may not have Reshiram or Zekrom, but she knows she can handle Kyurem's powers better. Wanna add that whenever she uses its power, her arms would turn to to smth similar to Black Kyurem's left arm

For Diantha, I wanna say Yveltal but I also wanna go ahead and just say she would fuse w Diancie, more specifically her Diancie, the Carbink she had that turned to one. Like imagine if Mom Carnet didn't kill Carbink in this villain au, and Diantha found it as a Diancie, and smth smth strong bond between trainer and pkmn, and suddenly the two of them share a body. Dia was sad so to say, cause she found her best friend again only to lose her not a moment after, then she hears Diancie's voice in her head, saying she did not lose her again, and Diantha was happy w that. But also can you fucking imagine how terrifying Dia w Diancie's powers would be tho, being able to create diamonds and such*, imagine her like creating said diamonds within people's body tho, impaling them from within their bodies, and instead of being horrified, Diancie actually praised Dia on what she's doing, saying that she's doing a beautiful work, giving the people the shine that they clearly lack. I do wanna add that maybe Diancie's features aren't that seen bc ofc it's kinda humanoid already, but like,, maybe Dia got its pointy ears? Idk I think it'd be cute hahah

For Hau,,, ough idk bc I actually want him to have like, an Ultra Beast, but for one idk if they actually count as legendaries, two idk much abt them, and three idt he'd actually have one or try to seek one too. So like, let's go w Tapu Koko instead, since it's already the Island Deity/Guardian of Melemele island, the island his grandfather is the Kahuna of. Like maybe Tapu Koko is pretty elusive towards him, but Hau managed to catch it. Hala did not know abt it, but he did notice how Tapu Koko doesn't show himself that much anymore. Idk how'd Hau and Tapu Koko would actually fuse, but hey, maybe he went to Steven to grant him that wish, so he could be a powerful trainer too. Imagine how cool it'd be tho if Hau's wearing a similar coat(?) like Hala's, but w Tapu Koko's markings(?) and such

For Leon, well he already has a pair w Eternatus in pokemas, so hey let's go w that. It'd be cool too, if he hid Eternatus from everyone else, or maybe he was the one to summon Eternatus, threatening another Darkest Day to happen if they so much as go against him. So hey, he's got Eternatus at his disposal, maybe even made a deal w it similar w Cynthia and Giratina, and imagine if like,, Eternatus would often take control of Leon's right arm, and yeah turning it to his own, or maybe even downright taking his right arm and replacing it w its own. Idk how'd he'd hide it tho, or he does walk around w everyone seeing Eternatus' arm, a way of showing them that he and Eternatus became one, and thus Leon has its powers now too

For Geeta, so like,, in this villain au she did know what happened to Sada/Turo yeah, or even the both of em yeah the two exists together and did their research together and died together, and Geeta was there and she saw them die and she knows abt Miraidon and Koraidon. Imagine her kinda experimenting on them tho, wanting to find out more, doesn't matter her friends just died bc man that gave her a sense of thrill, and she thought that if that's what Miraidon and Koraidon could do, imagine if she had that power to herself. Imagine her fusing both Miraidon and Koraidon w herself tho, and she has like, Miraidon's eyes and horns?? Crest?? Idk what do you call those? And then Koraidon's claws/arms and tail
