Capture the Beauty of the World: Enter the One World Photo Contest

The One World Photo Contest is an international photography competition that is open to amateur and professional photographers of all ages. The competition is sponsored by One World, a non-profit organization that works to promote peace and understanding between people of different cultures.

The One World Photo Contest is a great opportunity to showcase your photography skills and to share your vision of the world with others. The contest is also a way to support One World's important work. How to Enter To enter the One World Photo Contest, you must submit one photo that captures the theme of "One World." The theme is open to interpretation, but the judges are looking for photos that show the beauty and diversity of the world, as well as the connections that we all share.

You can submit your photo online at the One World Photo Contest website. The deadline to enter is November 30, 2023. Prizes The winner of the One World Photo Contest will receive a grand prize of $1,000. The second-place winner will receive $500, and the third-place winner will receive $250. Now at the nurcing home, his memories recede day by day. Conversations are difficult but at every visit, I take pictures. The brief moment when I point the camera, our line of vision crosses. At this age, I feel a little embarassed taking a father-son photo; a selfie or a self-time makes it impossible for us to look at each other. So, I frame myself in the smartphone camera. The phone is with the father, their line of vision crosses and in this composition that enacts a scene in which they are photographing each other, the images seem to also reflect his father’s dementia. The wooden schooner Portland, one of the most accessible shipwrecks in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, lies a short swim away from shore, making it a great place to paddle or snorkel and experience the history.

Happy Sunday beautiful people! I'm really happy to learn that this Paynes Prairie landscape of mine on a day I was privileged to see many of the bison, has won the Best Mammals in the photography contest this year. It will be printed and on display in the visitor's center. Paynes Prairie is truly a magical place, home to bison, wild horses, large alligators, bobcats, numerous wading bird species, and so much more. It is a Florida state, and a national treasure, and one of my favorite places on the planet.
