Risou no Kareshi no Hazunanoni
Now a high schooler, Chiori becomes envious of her classmates finding boyfriends and girlfriends left and right. Her childhood friend Issei responds to her complaints with "If that's the case, then go out with me."
A pretty normal shoujo. Cute with good art. I love a good childhood friend trope, and they’ve been close friends since they were babies. I don’t like it when the “childhood friends” barely known each other or one is absolutely useless without the other acting as a surrogate parent (especially if the parents are very present). Chiori is the cute tomboy, and Issei is the handsome and seemingly perfect.
Chiori comes across as being oblivious to the advances of the 2nd male lead, but I’ll excuse it bc they’re high schoolers and this is the first time she’s experiencing all this. I’d be less annoyed with the 2nd lead butting in if Chiori and Issei weren’t already a couple, but since they I want him to move on soon. Although Chiori got together with Issei on a whim, they’re cute and it seems like they care a lot about each other
