- is acting like he doesn’t care because he knows you. he knows all too well you’re just trying to mess with him, and he is glaring at you

- you wanna be like that? fine

- privileges REVOKED

- petty and dramatic

- will not kiss you again until you are apologizing and BEGGING him to even if it’s been days

- don’t forget to ask nicely too

- Sigh. But he’s not heartless sooo he will give in after said begging and apologizing

Leo:

- HOW DARE

- he is shocked and hurt, he couldn’t believe what he’s seeing

- will kiss you again to give you a second chance AND YOU DO IT AGAIN???

- will you give a sly grin; almost like he was daring you to do it again

- also a petty man, but in a different way

- will you kiss you again and again like it’s a competition

- It’s not that he would be upset or not understanding if you just didn’t like it in general, it’s the thought you did like when HE did it that hurt

Mating Season

Rottmnt x gn!reader

Warnings: feral turtles, aged up

A/N: there is nothing explicit in this, just turtles being turtles

Donnie

He made precautions once they all started dating

It wasn't an issue before because April is their sister

You can tell it's starting because he gets more affectionate

Normally kissing your neck more

He talks about the way you smell

During mating season, Donnie is locked in his room

He can't get out, he made sure of it

He is feral

Donnie doesn't speak hardly at all, instead communicating with chirps and hisses (mostly hissing)

If he does speak, it's normally begging

He doesn't like being away from his lab, but he can't do anything when he's in this state anyways

Larger, bulkier blankets and such have to be removed because he'll tear them up

He makes a nest on his bed with his clothes and thinner fabric

Due to him being feral, Shelldon is the one who gives him food and water

You sometimes give Donnie food, but it can be dangerous so you leave it to Shelldon (he bites)

Paper plates and such have to be used otherwise you won't be getting them back as he adds them to his nest

After mating season, he dismantles his nest immediately

He hates having a dirty room

Leo

Also absolutely feral

But! Donnie is a little scarier when feral...

Leo tried not to show when it's coming on, opting to remove you from the situation completly

Although that hardly ever works

He locks himself in his room as well

Unlike Donnie, he actually does talk

He's a sweet talker, tries to convince you to let him out... That it's over

He's done so successfully a few times

Leo is very persuasive

He's not as dangerous to approach

He'll bite sometimes, but that's just on bad days

If you give him food and water, he'll stay as far away from you as he can

Leo will wait there until you back up from the door

It's almost like Leo takes the logical part of Donnie's brain during this time

He also makes a nest

He doesn't tear things up like his twin so he has a bigger, comfier, bulkier nest

After mating season, he'll leave the nest for at least a week just to make sure it's over

Mikey

Mikey doesn't lock himself up

He knows himself and will let you know when bad days are coming

He rarely goes feral during mating season

When he does, you're not coming over

Period

He still talks and everything, but he needs physical contact otherwise he'd lose his mind

His nest is pretty basic, it's not too big, but it's comfy

He likes having you stay over so his nest is warm and inviting

He feeds himself so you don't have to worry about anything

Raph

Raph does go a little feral at least he thought so

But he saw Leo and Donnie and realized he was just paranoid

He doesn't lock himself up, but he tells you not to come over at all during this time

He's worried he might hurt you

Raph acts pretty normal for the most part

He does make a nest, it has to be in the living room because his room isn't big enough

He can go feral like Mikey, but he tends to be pretty mellow

Raph has a tendency to tear things up, but not as bad as Donnie

During this time, the couch is moved out of the living room so Raph has more room and doesn't feel the need to tear up the cushions

It was late one night. Mikey rarely stayed up past 2 am but here he was, humming to himself as he made the two of you grilled cheeses. It wasn’t 2 but 4 in the morning. Everyone else was in their own respective rooms. You had doubts that Leo and Donnie were asleep. But you could hear Raph’s snores all the way in the kitchen. And Splinter wasn’t exactly a peaceful sleeper either.

“Should I heat up some soup to dip it in?” You offered going to where they kept the cans of microwaveable soup. “Ah sure!” Mikey agreed. As it so happened, the microwave was right above the stove where Mikey was working his magic.

But years of being in each other’s space had you easily crossing the boundary of personal space to get on your tippy toes to press the button that opened up the microwave and placed the bowl of soup inside. You set it for three minutes, clicked start, and then backed away.

The smell of burnt bread filtered through your nose and you looked over to Mikey to see that he was just staring straight ahead. Spatula in hand ready for flipping the cheese sandwiches but not doing anything at all. “…Mike? It’s burnin’” you said plainly.

He blinked, looked down and his blank expression morphed into one of horror. “Oh no no no!” In dismay he flipped to see the charred toast. His teeth clacked as he scooped it once more and went for the trash can.

“Wait wait I’ll eat it! Don’t waste it Angelo!!” You said hurriedly but he just looked at you with a bewildered expression before chunking it. “We’ve got more cheese and bread, I’m not feeding you burnt grilled cheese.” You crossed your arms. “All it needed was a good scraping on the burnt side and it would’ve been fine!”

He shook his head. “Trash!” He said with finality. He got to work whipping up two more. You let it go. And the two of you situated yourself at the kitchen table, soup in between you both as you had your own respective sandwiches. You were starved so you chowed down right away. Blowing out hot air as you burned your tongue in the process.

Mikey had pulled up a YouTube video for the two of you to watch in the meantime. Glancing over at your antics and shaking his head once more but with a smile this time. “Wha?” You said with food still in your mouth. His beak scrunched. And you gave him a wicked grin before opening your mouth fully to show him the mushy half eaten food inside.

“Gross! Why?!” He whined, tearing his eyes away to watch the video he had up. You didn’t have a response for that. Spontaneity you guessed. You hadn’t finished your meal yet but you pushed out of your seat. “Where ya going?” He chirped not looking away from the screen. “Drink!” You stated, bending down as you looked in the fridge to view the options.

“Want something?” You asked. “Nah… actually a Dr. Pepper.” You grabbed one and headed back. Cracking it open you took a sip before sliding it his way. He took a sip without looking away from the screen. You tilted over to see what it was about, some grocery store hijinks. Lame! You got back to the meal. Opening up your own phone to check the messages you had missed.

You hadn’t been on your phone all day! Spending most of it with Mikey doing mundane stuff. Video gaming or watching movies. You smiled down at a specific message.

Unbeknownst to you, Mikey had his eyes on you ever since you had opened up your phone. A blank expression taking over his face once more. “Who’s that.” He said, not a question. But you hardly noticed, your attention enraptured from the slew of messages you were receiving now. Then you halted and your eyes shot up at Mikey, one of his brow bones lifted in question at the shocked look you gave him.

“I never told you!” You said with surprise and turned fully to him. Mikey felt his muscles tighten. Something you hadn’t told him? What could it be? His thoughts spiraled to worse case scenarios. “I met this person… and it was like insta-crush! They’ve just got this way about them. Okay wait wait lemme start from the beginning—“

The muscle by his jaw ticked. A crush. An insta-crush. You were crushing on someone? It was as if by thinking of the worst thing possible it then came true. While you went on distracted by your disgusting puppy love, Mikey sat there not really listening. He watched as you were pulled away from the conversation multiple times by your phone lighting up. And his pupils started to shake.

After the fourth time of you getting all distracted and giggly Mikey rammed his fist down into the table. Smashing bits of it to splinters. “What the hell Mikey?!” You were out of your chair and raising your hands up in what was a mix of emotions. “Heh! Sorryyyyy,” those dead eyes of his crinkled into crescents as he smiled then he shook his fist as if it had hurt.

“Sorry?! What was that?? You smashed the table into dust!” Your eyes were bugging out at the show of strength. “There was a bug!” Mikey lied. You gave him a once over. Then you took a step back. Ah he was such a terrible liar.

“Maybe I should go? It’s getting late. You’re probably tired!” It’s like you were trying to give him an excuse. “But I thought we were having a sleepover?” Mikey whined. Getting up from his chair slowly. You were pedaling backwards. “We can reschedule Angie! Really!” Your voice was half placating, and half fearful.

“Okay okay, you got me!” Mikey held up his hands in a show of surrender and in your confusion you hesitated to escape further. “Huh?” You questioned. “I may have gotten a teensy bit jealous! I had no idea you were crushing on someone!” Mikey explained. Then went further.

“I actually thought.. with how much you’ve been over.. and how well we get along.. I just thought maybe words weren’t needed to describe what we were!”

You blinked slowly. “We’re friends Mikey.” You said plainly. His hands went down, while his head tilted to the side. “Really? Do friends stay up this late together?” You were instantly defensive. “Yes! Donnie, me, and Leo stay up this late all the time!” So Mikey went further.

“Do they share food or the same soda? Do they cross boundaries? Do they text 24/7? Do they say I love you? Do they cuddle? Do they share a bed?” The more he listed the more his face lost control. His eyes widening in a manic sort of way as his hands started to flail about. You flushed at the last bit. “I was perfectly fine on the couch! It was you who had insisted—“

“We. Are. Dating!” He yelled out. His plastron heaving as he struggled to breathe properly. “You like me! And I like you. We aren’t friends. We’ve been dating forever. You don’t have a crush on anyone but me!” He swallowed as his eyes brightened completely into what you could only describe as his ninja stare. You trembled in place as his hands rose from his sides, his ninpo flaring to life as that fiery orange chain snaked into view threatening to shoot towards your form if you dared to bolt.

“Say it.” You couldn’t. It was a lie. It was a delusion. Something Mikey had made up all on his own, something you had no part in. You shook your head. He huffed. “Fine.” The last thing you remember seeing was that chain faster than lightning wrapping around your body, it squeezed you, holding on to every part available. Choking you. And Mikey walking over without a care in the world as your vision swam and turned black.

LEO

Man, this guy is oblivious as hell, he doesn’t realize you’re on your period until he sees you in the lair with a heating pad on your abdomen.

Then he feels stupid because it was so obvious you had started.

He thinks he should’ve known as soon as you started becoming more emotional.

Will 100% get you any craving you want, within reason. He’s not gonna let you eat something that’s gonna upset your stomach later.

Is down to just cuddle and watch TV together.

Doesn’t care how much his brothers tease him, he’ll be constantly worried about you.

“Do you guys think she’s alright without me there?” *insert a collective “SHUT UP LEO”*

He knows that your cramps can get crazy bad, but you guys figured out that if he laid his head on your abdomen, the pain was somewhat relieved.

Low key gets sad when you get annoyed with him, he knows you don’t mean to and it’s just the hormones, but he still manages to feel like a kicked puppy when it happens.

RAPH

Doesn’t act like he notices, but he does.

He notices hardcore.

He notices the way you’re walking to the kitchen so sluggishly, with a hand on your abdomen and your face scrunched into a look of discomfort at every movement.

He notices the weird period cravings and actually makes an effort to memorize the ones you like so that he can get more for you.

You get a lot more moody on your period so you’re constantly sassing Raph and he has to remind himself that it’s just your hormones talking.

Secretly restocks your dwindling stash of chocolate.

You don’t notice it though until you catch him in the act.

Acts like doesn’t know what you are talking about and claims he’s only replacing some because he ate a few bars.

You definitely know that’s not the case, but you don’t say anything about it.

He’ll hand you a bottle of ibuprofen/advil/midol etc. when he notices the cramps get debilitating. (Literally me)

Acts annoyed when you ask him to carry you around cause you can’t move from your cramps.

He secretly loves it though cause he can hold you and show off his strength.

MIKEY

Innocent boy doesn’t even know what a period is, was hella embarrassed when you explained it to him.

“YOUR BODY DOES WHAT?” someone help this poor boy.

He’s stunned at learning that your period can last up to a week or even longer.

“How do you bleed for that long and not die and it happens every month?!” Has gained hella respect for you.

He probably tried one of those period cramp simulators and it was horrible, Raph made fun of him for a while before you forced Raph and the other brothers to try it too.

They shut their mouths after that, and now Mikey gets to mock Raph’s squeals.

Willingly tries your period cravings, no matter how weird, and he’s ended up liking most of them.

You don’t even have to ask him to cuddle with you, he just does it because he feels so bad that you have to deal with this every month.

Mikey is very empathetic and in tune with your emotional state during your period, cause he’s an emotional boy too.

DONNIE

Only figured out that you were on your period when he made a joke about it.

“Ignore her, it’s probably just her time of the month.” “Actually, it is.” “HUH?”

Bro was so embarrassed and his brothers wouldn’t let him live it down.

He willingly, without you asking, will go buy you feminine products as a sort of apology. (Does that even count as one? He doesn’t know but at least he’s trying?)

Does research on what happens to the female body during menstruation in hopes of providing you some support.

Doesn’t touch his computer for weeks afterwards.

He’s easily flustered, he can’t help it!

Understands that you know your body better than he does, so he doesn’t really try to intervene with what you normally do during this time of month.

Gives you as much space as you want, but is ready to cuddle and watch pirated movies on his laptop as soon as you ask to.

Gets really happy when he sees you using the microwaveable lavender scented rice stuffed animal he got for you (if ykyk)

• Snow days in New York weren’t exactly uncommon, but it was always a treat when they happened

• School was canceled and puffy jackets donned; all for the sake of the lovely white powder

• You were no different. The second you woke up to freezing cold temperatures, you were already dialing April's number in preparation for a hangout

• Plans were made in record time, and you soon found yourself standing at the foot of Leonardo’s bed in preparation to rip the covers off of him

• “Rise and shine Nardo! It’s a snow day!”

• The minute his Jupiter Jim covers fell to the floor, you were met with the sight of a very grump turtle

• Oops

• It took a considerable amount of prying to get him and his stupid nightcap out of bed and down to the lairs main room. By the time you had managed to get him to stop teleporting back onto his mattress, April was standing in the living room with the other three brothers - and looking much more damaged than you remembered

• “What happened to you?” You cringed at the sight of her mussed up hair, keeping a tight hold on Leo’s shell so he wouldn’t run off. You ignored his whines

• “Someone forgot to mention that they had the security system set to ten.” April said with zero amusement, looking pointedly at a purple teen

• “Smashed with the Tech Bo?” You smiled somewhat sympathetically. Donnie whistled and looked away innocently

• “Smashed with the Tech Bo.” April parroted,

• After you got April to stop chasing Donnie with her bat, all of you suited up to head to the nearest snow covered park

• Part of your brain remembered in the middle of preparation that turtles didn’t do well in cold temperatures, and you asked Donnie about it as everyone zipped up their coats

• “Patented hand warmers.” He smirked proudly. “And our numerous layers should protect us from any harsh elements. If anything, the worst that will happen is that the cold will cause us to get sleepy.”

• “I am totally using that information for blackmail.”

• “Do not—"

• Overall, it’s very fun. Mikey brings his revered hot chocolate, you April and Leo beat Raph in a snowball fight, and Donnie spends the entire time building a lifelike bust of himself from snow. And this time there weren’t any mutant ghost bears to terrorize you

• “Why don’t we do this more often?” You had paused to ask Mikey while snowballs flew over both of your heads. At this point, everyone had switched teams, and you were stuck with the orange turtle as Donatello’s mechanical arms whirled snowballs in your direction at record speed

• “Hang out, or challenge Donnie at deadly activities?!” He screamed back, yelling as a chunk of snow barely missed his head

• “Fair point.” You grinned before returning fire

• In the end a truce was called, and the promise of extra flavorless juice at home eventually coaxed Donnie to agree to the terms

• “For the record, I still won.”

• “Don’t make me take away your juice privileges Dee, because I will.”

• “Gasp! Oh the treachery! The betrayal!”

Mikey:

this boy will not hesitate to call dibs on being y/n's best friend the moment they meet; not only are they super cool and confident, they're pretty funny too!

he genuinely admires everything about y/n, from their charismatic and funny nature to the way they seem to keep their cool under pressure

mikey likes to refer to them as the "color bomb of our family portrait" (whatever that means) and will insist they are the splash of color the group's been missing this whole time

nicknames!! he will literally call y/n everything under the sun as a show of affection; some of his favorites include "leo 2.0" and "rainbow"

mikey will take every chance he gets to cling onto y/n like a koala bear or use them as his personal lap pillow; he is the most physically affectionate of the brothers, so expect lots of tackle hugs and cuddles too

insists that it's completely platonic though! cuddling doesn't always have to be romantic or just for couples or anything! if he's not holding onto y/n's hand, he's at the very least hovering in their space at all times

he just happens to enjoy how warm y/n is and they don't seem too bothered by the touching so it just makes sense that y/n is the first one mikey calls when he's in major need of hugs

y/n has a big ego, but mikey doesn't exactly help that fact with his endless praise and compliments; it's like he has stars in his eyes every time he sees them do anything mildly exciting. if anything, y/n is TOO HUMBLE in his eyes

he constantly brags to his brothers about how great y/n is (and how lame the boys are compared to them) to the point where it's painfully obvious to evevryone how lovestruck he is; every conversation somehow loops back to y/n and if no one's around for him to gush about them to? he'll just channel that affection into his art!

every time he invents a new dish, y/n is the first person to taste test his new creation. and if they say they like it? he will make it his new specialty dish for the next few weeks. y/n gets to name it too! a special privilege for only the greatest of greats in his eyes

every time y/n comes over to the lair, he immediately stops whatever he's doing to greet them and show them around like it's their first time ever being in the lair. it's basically a tradition at this point.

no joke, he will literally take them on a tour of the place like it's a new bachelor pad or something

"welcome to our humble little abode~ please feel free to relax on any of our luxury beanbags or "sacco" as the italians call it! to our left, we have the most advanced in genius technology, created by our very own donatello hamato!" "mikey, this is the third time this week they've been here. please for the love of plato, get out of my lab and let me work."

it's also just a fun little way for him to show off his new art without looking too braggy and he can't pass up a chance to pester his brothers; truly a silly little menace

if he's drawing, he usually has y/n pose for his practice sketches; they're just so photogenic and fun to draw, the perfect muse! and they don't complain as much as leo does when he has to model for mikey

he also keeps a special sketchbook meant just for y/n and him; they hand off the sketchbook back and forth every other week to fill with sketches and doodles of anything and everything. mikey thinks it's the purest form of bonding and gives every one of his doodles some meaning that ties back to y/n

the one-liners aren't exactly his style, but he still finds y/n to be incredibly funny, especially when it comes to their pranks. he will not hesitate to join in on their latest scheme (he's terrible at keeping secrets tho so they don't always work out)

is genuinely considering starting an improv troupe or a comedy duo with y/n; he thinks they could make it big if they just had the right venue! or maybe they could start their own cooking vlog together?

"c'mon, just one open mic nite! i promise it'll be fun and you're gonna kill it on stage! and i'll be front row cheering you on!"

y/n has their own little spot in the projector room right by mikey for movie nights; complete with a secret snack stash he's hidden in their beanbag for the two of them to share (he will eat most of it tho if y/n doesn't stop him)

he's not too keen on the idea of dragging them along on dangerous missions, but he will not hesitate to take them for a trip to the hidden city. after all, what better way to introduce y/n to yokai/mutant culture and the untamed world of mysticism than by exploring the mystic metropolis itself?

takes y/n to all of his favorite restaurants and parks when they're out, he enjoys being able to share his safe space(s) with someone special to him! and of course, he wants y/n to have fun too so he won't say no to visiting some of their favorite places!

unlike donnie and leo, mikey's pretty good at keeping y/n's more impulsive nature in check; he might be the wild card, but he's also very aware of the fact that Y/N is a human and as such, should be handled with care! (ironically, he gets upset when raph does the same to him)

don't get him wrong, he doesn't baby y/n, no no. he is simply trying to be a caring, considerate, and responsible friend. he's sure y/n can handle themselves, but the yokai world is new to them! mikey just wants to take it slow is all!

it's not until papa splinter decides to bring up the dreaded topic of grandchildren that mikey is confronted with his own feelings

"All I know is that you boys are only getting older and with each passing day, my hope for grandchildren is getting smaller and smaller."

"DAD, WE AREN'T EVEN ADULTS YET! At least give us a chance to vote for the first time before you start yapping on about kids!"

"It is not the timing I am worried about. It is the sheer lack of game you three seem to have with the ladies. You have to BE a player to start the game." Splinter muttered the last part as if he were talking to himself. A bewildered trio of turtles sat before him in their usual "begging circle" before his favorite chair, unsure of how this conversation went so wrong. All they wanted to do was borrow their dad's iconic Lou Jitsu suit. And he was lecturing them about romance and grandchildren?!

Y/N and Mikey had no idea just what they were walking into when they sauntered into the projector room together, bags of snacks in hand for another movie marathon. Splinter let out a fond chuckle as Y/N greeted the rat with a bright smile and a wave.

"You see, I do not worry about Orange. Clearly he is the only one to receive my dashing looks and irresistable charm! How else would he have caught Y/N's sleek eye?" The old man threw a wink Mikey's way as the turtle stopped in his tracks to glance back and forth between his brothers and father.

"What… did I just walk in on?" his confusion translated into a sharp grimace, the corner of his frown quivering.

"Dad here's bugging us about dating." Leo couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Wha- I thought he was gettin' on our case about grandkids or somethin'?"

"No, no. He was clearly implying that we have no social, relationship, or emotional skills to speak of and therefore have no chance at prospective mates with which we might eventually settle down with and have offspring of our own." Donnie's pout was apparent as he recapped the conversation, unsure if what his father said was a positive or negative sentiment.

Mikey and Y/N exchanged equally horrified glances, dropping the bags of goodies.

"WH-WHAT?!" they cried out in unison.

Y/N could barely get a breath in between their screeching tirade of 'NO NO NO' and Michelangelo's "STOP STOP STOP", both of them making a show of flailing about in humiliation and shaking their heads. Y/N and Mikey? Settling down?! KIDS??!!

"I feel as though I may have missed something…" Splinter watched the spectacle of shame with a quirked brow, stroking his greying beard and shrugging to himself.

The young mutant stopped his panic long enough grab Y/N by the shoulders and sharply turn them to face Splinter, pointing his finger into their cheek as if he were presenting them.

"DAD, WE are FRIENDS. FRIENDS! FFFRIEEEENDSS!" he hissed between clenched teeth, motioning between himself and the human that stood beside him. Behind him, his brothers quietly chuckled and snorted amongst themselves, but he chose to ignore them as he continued.

"WE are NOT getting married any time soon!" he gave Y/N a gentle pat on the shoulder and shot them a soft smile, "No offense."

"N-No, none taken!" Y/N nodded, eyes still wide with shock.

"WE are NOT having kids ANYTIME SOON!" With each word, Mikey's face loomed closer to his father, the man's amused grin unwavering.

"And if anything, I sincerely doubt someone as amazing, sweet, and funny as Y/N would ever wanna have kids with someone like me considering THIS whole situation!"

His hands waved over his body frantically to refer to his mutant form, oblivious to the now-offended scoff Y/N gave.

"Y/N and I were just here to-"

"You don't think I'd be with someone like you just because you're a mutant?" Y/N couldn't keep their irritation from seething off of them as their arms crossed tightly on their chest and their foot tapped impatiently against the cold floor. They were not happy. Mikey shrunk in on himself at the display and waited for them to continue, the entire room now listening intently.

"I'm sorry, is it just me or did you drink a big ol' mug of DENSE juice?" Their finger aggressively poked against the young turtle's plastron, "I happen to LIKE everything about your 'whole situation' and I happen to think YOU are just as amazing and funny, Michelangelo Hamato!" Despite the sincerity of their words, each syllable was spat from their downturned lips as their glare became fatal with angst. Neither of them paid any mind to the others, mouths gaping and eyes rounded with surprise. The box turtle's green cheeks burned a dark red at their words, his heart pounding wildly against his chest and his muscles tense with excitement.

"Does… does this mean I can hold your hand now? Like romantically...?" he squeaked, barely able to contain his glee. Y/N sheepishly nodded as they took his hand in theirs and pulled him into a gentle embrace. From behind him, a chorus of groans and sighs sounded from his brothers. All he could think of now was that Y/N liked him back. Maybe even loved him. Not even his brothers could ruin a perfect moment like this.

Hello anon! I hope you enjoy this, I've been struggling to write for Donnie, Raph, and Mikey since I don't know their characters that well yet :") Regardless though, I hope this is alright!

His swords clatter to the ground, looking around in disbelief once he spots the neatly wrapped box on the table beside him.

"Wha- When??"

Leonardo turns in a circle, eyes darting to check every corner of the room he's in. He picks up the box nervously, reading the tag attached to it.

'Saw this and thought you might like it.'

Your familiar handwriting is messily scrawled onto the paper, and he chuckles before holding the box up to his ear, giving it a shake. It rattles, and he hums in curiosity.

When did you even get here? He wonders, untying the ribbon on the box and opening the lid. Once his eyes land on the item inside, he gasps excitedly, almost squealing.

He picks up the comic, almost too afraid to hold it as his fingers brush against the front cover of the first Jupiter Jim comic, still in its original sleeve! Oh, he'd recognize the art anywhere.

It's a national treasure, well, in his opinion, anyway. But how on earth did you even get it?

Maybe you knew the vigilante that helped stop a robbery at the comic book museum in which the comic is stored. If so, he has got to connect with them through you.

"Okay, who took my tools?" Donnie looks around with narrowed eyes, scanning his lab with an annoyed sigh. Did his brothers wander in and decide to distract him once again with their shenanigans?

However, he spots his tools decorating the wall, laid out in some form of abstract art as they stick to some form of spiderweb. He walks over with a skeptical gaze, staring at the box between them.

He taps his chin in thought, deciding whether or not to open the unfamiliar object until he sees a piece of paper with messily written words on his desk. He picks it up, scanning it with raised brows.

'Hey smartass, Happy birthday or whatever, thought you might enjoy it.'

He gasps, looking back at the box that contains his gift. "For me??" He all but squeals, grabbing it and taking off the lid. His eyes widen in disbelief, filling with pure, adulterated joy as he lifts up a warm purple jacket, a broad grin on his lips in place of his usual refined bad-boy demeanour.

"Oh, I love it!!" He gushes, immediately putting it on and feeling the soft fabric settling on his arms as he does a quick spin to admire it. He doesn't even care about how he'll get his tools off the wall, with the web fluid only dissolving in two to three hours.

You eye the turtle sitting on the couch with his comic book, grinning as you secure the teddy bear in your grasp. You had spotted him eyeing it last time you went online shopping, and of course, you had to get it for your friend.

You slowly crawl down the wall, the bare skin of your fingertips practically glueing you to the hard brick. You make your way down to him, tapping his shoulder from behind. He turns in surprise. "Yo, what's up, Y/n?"

You stifle a chuckle before pulling out the teddy bear from where you position it behind your back, and the comic book slides out of his hands as his jaw drops. "Is that-"

You nod, handing it to him.

He gingerly takes it from your grasp, eyes already watering before he hugs it tightly. "Thanks, Y/n! You're the best!"

You give him a silent yet playful salute, crawling back up the wall as he continues to gush over his gift.

"Ouch!" Mikey groans, landing hard on his face as the shattered remains of his skateboard fall to pieces around him. You gasp, hurrying over to where he cradles the broken remains with eyes full of despair.

You rub his back in sympathy before an idea occurs to you. You had bought his present a couple months early, and maybe it was the perfect time to give it to him.

You crane your neck. Where had you put it…? You recall hiding it in a tight spot between a shelf and other stuff in the lair, spotting it peeking out from the wedge. You aim and fire some web fluid at it, and it attaches itself to the gift wrapping before you tug it toward the both of you.

It lands safely in your hands, and you offer it to Mikey, who glances at it curiously. He sniffles, taking it from you and hesitates, only to open it after you nod encouragingly. He inhales sharply, lighting up when he unwraps it to reveal a brand new Skate3000 skateboard, looking at you in glee.

"Is this real?" He smiles cheesily, wrapping you up in an unexpected hug before whooping and scurrying up the ramp's edge to try it out. You watch with a smile but gather your things to leave when you remember you have a class in ten minutes.

"Thanks, Y/n! You're the best!" He shouts from behind you, and you smile and shrug in response, glad he likes your gift.

Leo

Leo is running around all the time

He's trying to make sure everything runs smoothly

So he doesn't really get a chance to be with you

He is amazed you even agreed to be with him considering it's like you two never see each other

If he manages to get a short break he'll run to you

Pulling you into some dark room or closet

Leo really can't get enough of you

If you walk by or give him something, his hands are on you

Tapping and tugging you closer

He normally can't sleep without you

But if he's been up for days on end, he can pass out once his face it's the pillow

When he's able to cuddle in bed with you, you leave with fresh marks on your neck and shoulders

If he's not able to stay in bed with you, he leaves you little notes

They're sometimes short, other times they're fairly long

They're full of inside jokes, love, admiration, and puns

Mikey

He's also running around

But Mikey is taking care of sick people and food

While also practicing his mystic arts

So he's a busy guy

But unlike Leo, he has a bit more freedom

Mikey will find you and pull you into an empty room

His brothers have made sure to message him before they find him

If you guys have tasks in the same area, Mikey has his hand in yours

Or an arm around you

He touches you every chance he gets

He'll kiss your cheek in passing

Squeeze your hand before you part ways for the day

While Mikey can sleep without you next to him, he much prefers you being there

Raph

He's busy training

He has his days filled with adults, kids, literally everyone

He gets a bit worn out

But he always looks forward to the time between classes

Cause you'll be waiting and he can have you all to himself for a few minutes

During these times what happened depends on the day

Good days, Raph is picking you up and kissing you like his life depends on it

On bad days, Raph will just hold you and let his hands caress your body

When he's able to take a bigger break, he's finding you

He's telling you how amazing you are, kissing your face, holding you close

Like Mikey, Raph can sleep without you

But does he want to? No.

You opened your eyes, trying to hold back a sigh. You could tell from the deep breathing and slight snoring around you that everyone else was fast asleep. What surprised you the most was that Donnie and Leo of all people were asleep. They usually were insomniacs like you.. but you guessed it was a good thing that they had finally managed to get some shut eye. You on the other hand were still struggling.

You tried to distract your brain with events of today. The sleepover had started off with a bunch of competitions in the arcade. DDR being the main event, and probably what led to everyone being so tired. After that Mikey had ordered everyone pizza. Then the movie marathon started and didn’t stop until everyone was yawning. Instead of going to their respective rooms, the turtles all decided to continue the slumber party in the projector room. A big pile of blankets and pillows were placed in the middle and slowly but surely everyone settled down for the night.

Raph

Quietly you sat up, rubbing your eyes as they adjusted to the dark room. Looking around, you found Raph not too far away and silently made your way to where he slept. You had a pillow and a blanket in your arms and as quietly as possible you placed them next to the red turtle.

You then laid next to Raph, scooting until you felt the hard curves of his spiky shell. You finally allowed yourself to sigh, feeling slightly better now that you were next to his calming presence. Maybe ten minutes later you fell into a light sleep. Sometime later though Raph turned over in his sleep and you were awoken to him throwing an arm over your stomach and pulling you to his chest.

You were so tired that you couldn’t find it in yourself to get flustered as you snuggled your head into his plastron. He was so warm! His snores were just deep rumbles that were lulling you to sleep. It didn’t take long for you to finally slip into a deep slumber. Raph of course woke up at the crack of dawn. Stretching and opening his eyes to find you, looking absolutely adorable pressed into his plastron. Thankfully no one else was awake to tease him about how dark green his cheeks turned. He allowed himself to rub his face into your hair atop your head before slowly getting up. Though he made sure to put a big red pillow as his replacement for you to cuddle into.

Leo

Minutes went by and still you were unable to fall asleep. It was starting to get on your last nerve and with frustrated tears in your eyes you quickly got up from your spot. Dragging along your blanket and carrying your pillow as you found Leo wasn’t that far away. You quickly made your bed next to his, and laid down right beside him.

Sniffling slightly as you scooted backwards until you felt his smooth shell against your back. Leo turned around immediately, groaning slightly as he was a light sleeper. Your hand went you to cover your mouth hoping you hadn’t just woke him up. “You okay?” He mumbled behind you. “I’m sorry,” you whispered, regretting having come over and ruined what little sleep he got. “Its okay, what’s wrong?” He said as he pressed his face into your hair, an arm going around your middle. “Can’t sleep,” you sighed. He hummed and moved back slightly to start playing with your hair.

You lasted maybe 5 minutes before your body relaxed and the tension in your shoulders left you. Sleep overtook you and Leo held in a chuckle, moving to snuggle his face into your hair again as he went back to sleep too. Unlike Raph, Leo was not a morning person, so the two of you would definitely be woken up by the rest of the group, hovering over the two of you. Taking embarrassing photos and cooing over how cute the two of you were.

Donnie

You were staring up at the lair ceiling when a glow of a phone screen could be seen in your peripheral. You knew who it was immediately and you hurriedly grabbed your things before plopping down behind the purple turtle. He didn’t say anything as you got comfortable, you got as close as you dared. There was a few centimeters between his soft shell and your back. “Need something?” Donnie spoke up after a few moments.

You shook your head and then realized you needed to say something. “No” you replied and that was it. Your eyelids were starting to blink slower and slower as you noticed the glow of his phone power off. You listened as he shuffled and got comfortable again. Then out of nowhere, you felt him scoot back those last few centimeters, his shell grazing your back. Your eyes widened, sleep evading you. It was just such a shock! “Dee?” you whispered and he mumbled a reply. “Goodnight,” you said changing your mind about bringing it up. “G’night,” you barely heard him say.

Unlike Leo, Donnie woke up at a decent hour. He sat up, listening to Raph’s feet pad away. He groaned and stretched and looked over to you with a fond expression. Then he was up, heading for the kitchen to make his morning coffee.

Mikey

You rolled over, staring at Mikey’s shell. He was fast asleep, the outline of his body going up and down as he breathed in and out deeply. You smiled, wishing you could pass out as easily as he could. You rolled one more time, your back firmly against his smooth shell.

You could feel his rhythmic breathing and you found that it was comforting enough for you to finally start feeling tired. You might’ve fallen asleep if Mikey didn’t start kicking all of the sudden. His feet bumping into yours and the rustling up the blanket. You shot up, startled by the sudden movement and your movement in turn scared Mikey, as he too shot up into a sitting position. “Y/n?” He croaked, his voice cracking from having slept so deeply. “Yeah?” You whispered as the two of you looked at each other groggily, the fear immediately leaving as you both realized it was just the other.

“Can’t sleep?” He asked patting the spot next to him for you to move even closer. You were about to say that you almost had, but you kept it to yourself as you nodded and moved closer. His arms going around you to hold you tightly for a few seconds before loosening. “My world famous cuddles will put you fast asleep,” he said lowly, almost falling into sleep himself. “Go to sleep silly,” you chided, looking up to see him trying to keep his eyes open. “You first,” and you shook with silent laughter, if only it was that easy. But as his hand went up and down your arm soothingly you were out like a light. “Sweet dreams Y/n” Mikey sighed as he passed out right after you.

Mikey was also an early riser, though not as much as Raph. Mikey woke up before Donnie though. He was happy to see you still sound asleep in his arms. And he stealthily removed himself from you, ninja mode style, as to not wake you. He had to start on breakfast!

Bonus! April

You really didn’t want to bother April, but you didn’t think you were going to be able to fall asleep anytime soon. You rolled over until your back met hers. “mmm.. Y/n?” She murmured groggily. “Sorry April,” you squeaked, not realizing you would wake her up that easily. “Its cool, but you okay?” She asked, her voice started to wake as she pulled the covers higher. “Just tired, yet I can’t sleep.” You confided and April nodded to herself.

She knew Donnie and Leo suffered from the same thing. Though she wondered if Dee ever got sleepy! Of course he did but he sure didn’t act like it! “Wanna try talking about nothing for a while?” April offered, her eyes were closed, but her mind awake and she’d talk to you throughout the night if that’s what you needed. “You’re the best,” you smiled and unbeknownst to you April’s face broke into a wide grin, “Yeah well, that’s what friends are for.”

The two of you talked about earlier today, plans in the future, college, her interests and hopes in journalism. You found that your voice became softer, and you started just humming in response instead of saying real words. “Goodnight Y/n” April whispered as she hadn’t gotten a response from you after a good couple of seconds. You hummed again and April smiled to herself as she slipped back into dream land.
