I'm gonna list some headcanons I have for the science club members as friends ( or more like a little family because the Canon one is boring lol) and themselves a bit.

Headcanons

The science club members are closer to certain people in the club.

Homu is the closest to Kaga and Meka.

Meka is the closest to Yaku and Horo.

Yaku is closest to Horo and Meka.

Horo is closest to Yaku and Meka.

Kaga is closest to everyone. He's the leader. He has to know his members, but if he had to choose, he would choose Homu.

Yaku and Horo are childhood friends. Considering these two don't show much emotion, mostly Horo. They got along well.

Yaku always tries to keep his visor on as much as possible. When he doesn't have his visor on, his eyes don't really match what he does with his mouth. If he smiles or laughs, his eyes remain relaxed with a boring look on his face. So he has a visor to express his current emotions and to see.

Homu is closest to Kaga because he reminds her of her twin sister she lost and saw her die in front of her. The determination, passion, and shine that Kaga has reminded her of her twin. She sweared that she would protect him and not lose him the way she did with her sister.

Homu is the most protective one of the group.

Yaku and Meka talk a lot to each other since they work right next to one another, but mostly anime. Meka talks to Yaku about the mega animes she's into while Yaku talks about MGPM to Meka.

Horo and Yaku would tease Kaga about his height, but would immediately stop once Kaga threats them of them being his new guinea pig to test on.

Horo, Meka, Yaku, and Homu sometimes get scared or freaked out by Kaga. Mostly, his dangerous gadgets and experiments he does, and the crazy look in his eyes whenever he gets a new idea.

The four know about Kaga's crush on Megami. They don't really talk about it, considering it's his business, while Homu doesn't like the idea because she doesn't want to see Kaga be heartbroken by the cold-hearted Student Council president.

During the years of knowing Kaga, none of them ever saw him cry. It's quite rare for Kaga to show that level of negativity. Sure, he would get bummed out but never shed tears. He rarely gets angry as well. If he does show, they know it's something serious.

Kaga has an eating disorder: Avoidant Restristive Food intake Disorder (ARFID). People with this disorder prevent themselves from eating certain foods for their texture, smell, taste color or , a dramatic event (choking or throwing up), or just not being interested in eating. In Kaga's case, Kaga developed it when he was 7. He was so focused on his education and his talent for making gadgets that he slowly drifted away from eating. Instead of seeing eating as a need that his body needs, he slowly started to see eating as a chore and a waste of time. His disorder got worse when he was 11. He was underweight and needed to gain. He needed food in his stomach to give his body energy and grow. It was a very rough battle, but he slowly got better with time. However, he went back to old habits when he moved out and is trying his best to eat instead of pushing it aside.

They do know about Kaga's eating disorder. It's quite obvious. Yaku would make homemade nutritional bars for Kaga and the rest of the group to eat. He would even make meals for them to try that he is learning. He does enjoy cooking after all! :3

Instead of them being able to be killed easily like in the game, I would make a headcanon of Kaga building some self-defense weapons for the club members to use if they sense any danger around them ( No. The school or Megami do not know about this )

Homu is the one that rarely shows emotions. She is always like :| to everyone. When she does show any type of emotion on her face, it would be on a topic very close to her ( like her sister's death or thoughts of her sister)

For their friendship, Kaga and Horo worked together to make a special type of ring that would only belong to the group. No one else. It's a way to show their friendship and talk to one another. They are always busy with their own goals and achievements, so they would talk through the rings that they wear on their intermediate phalage on their index fingers. It was holograms that Horo programmed onto them. That's what the group uses as phones. Instead of having a boring phone that everyone has, they use those rings as their phones. It's easy and quick to access. Whoa technology! :0

Homu has nightmares of her twin sister. Some nights, she wakes up sweating from the nightmare or crying her eyes out. The science club members don't know about this.

Horo is brutally honest with anyone. He doesn't care if it hurts the person's feelings. He will say what he is thinking and feeling. He is even honest with Yaku. A true friend always tells the truth. :D

Meka and Yaku trash talk about animes they hate (mostly Meka)

Yaku doesn't have a good relationship with his family. The only people he sees as family are the science club members and Horo's family.

The science club members see each other as family.

Yaku has a lot of burns on his hands from the chemicals burning his skin. He doesn't wear gloves. Horo is always the one to scold him for it.

They will give anyone the cold shoulder if someone is disrespecting them or disrespecting one of the club members.

Meka has a lot of burns on her hands, too. Horo is also the one who is always the one to scold her for it, but she ignores him and continues to work on her mega robot.

The most expressive member is Kaga. He's the one who shows the most emotion.

Kaga is the person they will reply to for making certain gadgets for then. He's the one who can build it and has the talent for it. Another reason why he's the leader of the club.

"My fellow team!"Kaga exclaimed loudly with a wide smile on his face while the group surrounded the table that Yaku used to test his chemicals. Right now, there was a cloth covering something that the team wasn't so sure of what it was except Horo and Kaga,"Now that we are in our magnificent club room and we are together, I have a surprise!"

"Which is?"Yaku asked as question marks appeared on his visor.

"Horo and I have been planning, designing, and making a device for all of us in this club! No one, absolutely, no one will have this device except for us. I cherish our friendship that we have built between all of us during the years of knowing one another despite the different personalities and situations, of course."

"Is it more self-defense weapons?"Meka guessed. Kaga shook his head,"Nope. The self-defense weapons we have at the moment work just fine unless you guys want to upgrade it, and then I'm glad to do so. The devices Horo and I made are these!"Kaga grabbed the cloth and snatched it off to reveal five silver rings,"Ta-da!"

Homu stared at the rings,"They look like normal rings. Nothing really special."

"Good. That was the goal."Horo spoke before grabbing one,"Each ring has a hologram display built inside."He said, sliding the ring on his index finger, letting it rest on his immediate phalange,"This is the spot where your ring will rest. Don't worry, it will not slide off. It's waterproof and made from the toughest and safest stainless steel, thanks to Kaga."Horo explained,"It has silicone wrapped inside the ring where it will wrap around your finger. It won't fall off, and it will stay on even through the hardest physical work."Horo adjusted the ring, making sure the whole that the ring had was facing upwards,"This tiny circle right here has to be facing upwards. This is where the hologram comes in."Horo pointed at it while showing the three,"You tap this spot right here. It's quite easy to find."Horo's thumb tapped on the spot he was explaining. A rectangular hologram display opened to reveal a home screen that a phone would have.

Homu, Meka, and Yaku watched,"Whoa."Yaku mumbled as exclamation marks appeared on his visor.

"This smart ring is pretty much a phone in a small device on your finger. It can connect to your phone, which this one is connected to my phone. With this spot that I tapped with my thumb, I can scroll, move to the next page, go into apps by a double tap, take pictures, make calls, and much more. You can even touch the hologram display with your fingers. Instead of having a phone in your pocket that you could easily lose, why not have a ring on your finger that is protected and resistant?"

"And why do we need these for?"Meka questioned.

"As I said before, I cherish our friendship, and we are the only ones with the knowledge of high technology and making it. I wanted to make something special for the five of us. Something that no one has, and Saikou Corporation hasn't thought of. Now, thinking about it, they might steal the idea..."Kaga mumbled with an annoying look and shrugged it off,"But I wanted to make this to represent our friendship. We are busy with our own achievements and goals, and we don't really talk unless we somehow have free time to do or we are here, so I've spoken to Horo about making these unique rings in a way symbolize our close friendship, and a quick way to talk with each other."He smiled, explaining. Yaku, Meka, and Homu grabbed their own ring and stared at it.

Kaga grabbed his and put it on his index finger,"And the ring is lightweight, so it won't bother you much."

The three put the rings on their index fingers and stared at them. Yaku tapped on the spot where Horo told them, a hologram display appeared,"Ou! How cool!"A smile formed on his lips.

"Interesting. Can I watch my anime on this?"Meka questioned as her hologram displayed appeared.

"Of course."Horo responded.

"Awesome!"Yaku gasped happily. Horo watched them,"You can customize it however you want. It's yours."

"Hm..."Homu stared at hers and opened the hologram display,"As long as this ring doesn't get in the way of my work, I'm fine with it."She said, looking at Horo and Kaga,"Thank you for the gesture."Homu gave them a small bow.

"You're welcome! I hope you guys will enjoy it and take good care of it."Kaga smiled. The three nodded in response. "Oh, and the chargers are in my book bag. I forgot to bring them over. Don't worry, I'll give them to you guys after school."Kaga spoke while Yaku and Meka immediately started to customize their displays and connect them on their phone while Homu turned off her ring to everything later.

Horo watched and flashed a small smile,"I'm glad to see that you guys like the gesture. As time goes on, maybe we will improve it if needed."

Kaga nodded, agreeing,"But for now, the rings are just fine as they are. I hope that our friendship will last."

"Me too."Homu responded with a small smile on her lips. Meka looked over at Homu and gently poked her cheek,"You're smiling."

"I need to take a picture!"Yaku spoke, quickly going to the camera of the hologram display. Homu's smile faded as soon as Yaku and Meka spoke,"And you ruined it."

Yaku mumbled as sad eyes appeared on his visor,"Awe."
