     The room was dark, she knew that straight off -- which wasn’t saying much, admittedly. Still, her mind felt off. The last thing she noted was detecting a rather subtle scent that told her something was WRONG. It must have been fast acting because just as she figured out the source, everything went BLACK and she lost her consciousness. And now she was here. A finely decorated room from what she could tell, though it took her a moment before her vision came into focus once more. Parts of her body felt numb, and it took her a while -- flexing her fingers, for example, took some effort -- to be able to rise up from her position laid out on the floor. She felt very cross at whoever had set this little trap up. SLOWLY, SLOWLY. Her legs felt as if she was trying to walk underwater -- heavy and stiff. There was a moment where she wobbled and she willed herself to stand strong, managing just so. There were no windows, and seemingly no doors -- whatever her captors had cooked up, obviously they had thought it through. 

But it was not just her captors, but theirs. It had taken Romana a moment for her eyes to catch the figure of a young woman in the room as well, not far from her own position. Brows furrowed and she took a moment to survey the area in case she happened to miss other life forms about, other captives that could be helpful in escaping. Yet, it just seemed it was the two of them. Cautiously, she approached the other, bending down beside her and shook her shoulder gently. “Hello. I don’t mean to be rude, but, well, we seem to be stuck together in a very...stressful situation. Tell me, would you like to escape together?”

riley found herself painfully ꜰᴀᴍɪʟɪᴀʀ with the rapidity at which life moved. her’s had, on many occasions, been thrown in different directions within the blink of an eye. at this point, she was used to uncertainty, learned to adapt to unwelcome, heartbreaking developments over the course of her existence. but not everyone in the cluster shared those..... learning experiences with her. with everything happening after it (the riot at capheus’ rally---- wolfgang’s abduction----) riley hadn’t been permitted a chance to speak with will on the matter of his father. so when she saw the opportunity--- she didn’t give their first (and possibly last, for a while) peaceful moment a chance to turn ᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴡɪsᴇ before pulling him away. “we haven’t--” she places a hand over their entwined fingers, brushing their knuckles with the cold pad of her thumb. riley was well acquainted with the difference between mourning and healing, to a painful extent. “----had a chance to talk about ꜰᴀᴛʜᴇʀ,” word are soft on her tongue, as if hesitant to give voice to them. “and i don’t know if we’ll have another chance for a while...”

yes. oswin is the type of girl to love showing off and proving herself to others, or to even leave them in awe. so, if any other person took that spotlight from her and perhaps her s/o or a crush seemed to indulge that --- you can bet she would have a face off with the former for the attention.

oswin desires attention from her significant other / crush because it reassures her that she’s doing her part right because without all of her intelligence && knowledge, she feels there isn’t much left other than simple charm and an intense stubbornness. so, she wants to have the special place. without it she feels inferior, that she can’t be the person she needs to be for them. so yes, jealousy will come whenever they don’t give her that reassurance, or if they’re seeming like another person is more interesting.

this doesn’t mean she’s a diehard attention seeker, though. she just wants to be extremely special to them && seeing somebody else take that interest really is a catalyst for her jealousy.
