so like the pretty cake keychain:
Tumblr media
Is no longer available as far as I have checked.
Please check here for all my current products listed on Shein under my art collection:
https://m.shein.com/designer/10002220
the keychains that are available right now are as follows:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These ones are still up right now, al though the cupcake has been up for more than a week now so it’s going to be done first before the others.
I will try to be more consistant here about my product launches, I do realise rhat I have been neglecting tumblr a bit in favour for instagram, I am quite sorry about that. I will try better!
Thanks again for all your reblogs, I’m never sure what exactly I should turn into products cause I have over ten different art collections, so seeing that my couqette-esque designs are well recieved makes me really happy.
Do let me know if there is any particular design you would love to see me turn into more products, I am very open of suggestions!
I cannot guarente rhat the design team at Shein will approve all the suggestions I make, however if you want it, I will try my best to design it for you and submit it for evaluation.
Alright that’s all, I wish you all a very Happy New Year!! May 2024 treat us all better than 2023 has 🤣

to preface this post i am anti-advertising i think we should explode the entire industry but it's sooo funny when you people make posts like "and they don't even work!!" like. sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes they do. that's why we have to put up with so many despite everyone hating them and thinking its annoying. because they actually work really well and make a shit load of money

also also(x2) small businesses, even Big Small Businesses, aren’t buying as many units of a product, so things are just more expensive to stock. you know this if you’ve ordered product for a shop, even something like stickers. Your price per unit is going to be way higher if you’re only buying 100, 200 stickers. But a giant retailer (like shein?) can buy BULK BULK amounts, driving the price per unit down.

I hate how so many shops now on Etsy just take general product images from other stores and use them in their store front so you have to scour the reviews hoping someone’s posted pictures so you can see images of the ACTUAL product.
And you never really know who the original producer/maker of the item is when there’s 5 other products with the SAME EXACT IMAGE all from FIVE DIFFERENT SELLERS

extremely upset that my craft is being overtaken by huge corporations and marketed as a new fast fashion trend to be cast aside in a few months. extremely upset that crochet, an art that is impossible to be mass produced by machines, is being mass produced in sweatshops by artists being payed pennies. extremely upset that because these artists are being exploited, other crochet artists are finding it hard to charge what they need to for their work because "they could get this at target for way cheaper"

its just weird bc with energy usage or whatever, we recognise that telling someone to turn the lights off and not overfill the kettle is a distraction from the unfettered consumption of big industry etc, but when it comes to food suddenly you people are like no no it’s the consumption of tofu that is the real issue here!! I’m so sick and tired of this debate because whether or not you eat meat, as leftists and as people with any care for the environment, we should be united in recognising the harms of industrial animal agriculture.  and at a certain point the choices of foods to get mad at in particular start to just come off like an appropriate outlet for your discomfort over someone else eating differently to you. why is it always soy and quinoa and never corn and wheat?? at a certain point you have to acknowledge that all of us consume plant products, and vegans/vegetarians are a very small proportion of that. plant agriculture is perhaps as ethically and environmentally fraught as animal agriculture, but that means we should desire to improve both, rather than NEITHER

Especially with things like alt fashion, I understand how people look at how obscenely expensive certain things can be and how many people will decide to make their own dupes instead because it's cheaper
But sometimes I just wish people would just understand that the dupe of a 30 dollar alt fashion t-shirt you made with cheap acrylic paint onto a 1 dollar plastic t-shirt from Walmart or Shein or Amazon isn't the Epic Own Against The Rich you think it is
Like yes the 30 dollar t-shirt is expensive but also like
Tumblr media
This isn't Super Scientific but you get the idea
The more expensive an item is, the more likely it is the item was made with fair labour (costs money), responsibly sourced materials (costs money) and is of higher quality (also costs money). Also, especially with things like alt fashion, by buying from an alternative creator/brand you are directly supporting the subculture
Meanwhile the plastic t-shirt you painted-- well it was already going to shed microplastics in the wash but now it'll shed even more because that paint isn't going to hold up with time. Like congrats, you made your own fast fashion piece, I'm sure Walmart appreciates the money you gave them.
Mind you, the big caveat here is that, of course, brands can still make their products as dirt cheap as they can and still hike up the price an obscene amount, I am absolutely not saying that cost = quality or anything like that (I think any of the "classy fashion brands" like IDK Gucci or whatever are a great example of that)
Like. All I'm saying is that sometimes when things are expensive, ot's because they're genuinely worth the cost, and making dupes of products from small niche businesses with mass produced materials from big box stores isn't fighting against capitalism, it's contributing to it

Honestly when i see ppl call ppl out bcs they found their clothing on shein
1. Shein steals designs from other places that is a thing they are known for
2. Its kinda a "girl, what were YOU doing at the devil's sacrament 👀" moment for me

At this point trying to shop for clothes is a dread. You want a simple cute dress or sumn and in store is empty, online is one hell of a gamble, you're in the larger end of the size chart so get ready for a hit-or-miss with styles and availability (bonus points for inaccurate size charts like an XL for a product basically being a M), sucky quality all over the place, lying descriptions, whole scams, charging hella money for a regular article of clothing, hell charging hella money for too-cheap-to-wear-for-five-minutes clothing. I cannot.
