katsuki and i got an opposites attract polarity going on. where he's loud and brash, i'm more reserved and deadpan. but we work because at the core we're the same - guarded, passionate people with a strong sense of justice, loyal and single-minded, and incredibly tender at the core

i also run cold so i like to use him as a personal heater, even when katsuki rolls his eyes and complains. i'll stick my hands and feet in any open pocket, whine at him to warm me up, crawl into his clothes like a squirrel. and he'd pretend to hate it, makes him a little nervous especially during the summer when he's sweating more than usual. what if his quirk accidentally pops off?

i think he'd also just be really good at maneuvering mee. like covering corners when i walk by, pushing gently at my lower back as we weave through a crowd (always in front, always within his line of sight), covering my head as i'm putting away dishes, or his fingertips lingering on my upper arm as he pulls me out of the way of some kids running at full speed. little things here and there

for such a big buy he looks like he wants to shrink into his bandana, stiff shoulders and sweaty palms, picking me up and whisking me up in his beat up pickup. he tries his damnest not to let his hands tremble as he softly takes my hand to help guide me up into the seat. just giggling thinking about it 🥺

he'll take me to the all-night diner across town. it's dimly lit and cozy and they make the best cakes he notes, gripping the steering wheel with tight knuckles and glimmering eyes glancing back and forth from the road to me to try and catch my expression. he visibly relaxes when my eyes light up.

dinner's quiet and intimate and katsuki feels like he's going to die when i laugh from across the booth, soft lighting drawing katsuki in to lean closer over the table. wrangling bulls is leagues easier than taking a pretty girl on a date.

the best worst part is when dessert is served. a single slice of strawberry shortcake to share. i'll take a bite, dance a little in my seat, it's not too sweet! and lean in across the table to offer a bite to the red-faced cowboy. katsuki can't help the thought that quickly flits into and exits his brain, an indirect kiss, before he takes a bite eyes never leaving my pretty lips as i casually lick my lip free of whipped cream.

katsuki feels the flush seep down his torso as he notices the mirth in my expression. doing this on purpose, brat...♡

this is such a good question, it took me a while to really think about it. when bakugo sleeps, like one of those really deep sleeps after back-to-back patrols, he snores. not super loud, but hearing the rumble from our bed makes me giggle. he swears up and down that he doesn't snore tho... i take a lot of secret videos. one of which i wipe some drool from his chin and you can hear me quietly cackling in the background.

my other fav habit of his is how the flush spreads across the high points of his cheeks, his ears, and down his neck. sometimes i'll tease him about it, but most of the time i'll avoid pointing it out. it gives me the opportunity to really look at him. admire how deep the flush is, trail my fingers across the heat of his neck or ears. it never fails to bring a smile on my face and if i let the thought of how pretty he is linger for too long i can feel my own face heat up hehe

katsuki's got this mean and rugged look to him. and every time he comes to the saloon for his dinner and favorite drink i'd get so giddy, trying not to linger at his side. there are other patrons to take care of.

i imagine he'd be a little quiet, more talkative after he's half way through his second glass of whiskey, and we'd spend the next few months quietly getting to know each other between sips and clattering cutlery and brushed knuckles.

until finally, one evening he's pushing through the saloon doors with a roughly cut bouquet of flowers. fresh and hand-plucked from today's cattle drive. his ears are bright red even beneath the cover of his brimmed hat. a bead of sweat slides down the curve of his bobbing adam's apple. he's shoving the flowers into my hands before i can even blink with a low mutter about having dinner together.
