Perfume release a new album, it's going to be one of my favourite records of the year, seems pretty straightforward. Spotify seems to have finally noticed this, and started recommending me Perfume-esque tracks, such as "Stargaze" by Kirara, "Suki Sugi Replay" by Golin, and "B who I Want 2 B" by Namie Amuro (although the rest of Amuro's album is much more conventionally pop). The last two in particular made me realise something which in hindsight should have been obvious, namely Perfume's influence on hyperpop.

Other hyperpop I've liked includes Casey MQ's very pretty "Telephone Light", Boy Sim's "Take Me" (from an EP that includes what I thought was a return to music from Kitty, but it turns out it's just from 2018), and Miss Madeline's instant hyperdonk classic, "Lovesick".

hello, hello! let's take a break from requests to return to my obsession with @syboubou's gorgeous cc!

i spotted this creative table in their 2022 advent calendar and just had to have it for my kiddies in ts2, but as a desk and stool since sims 2 doesn't have a ridiculous amount drawing tables, unlike ts4 🙈 and then i took a liking to the desk stationery, so i made some separated clutter of that too! everything is repo'd to the table itself so you need that for the rest of this miniset to function. everything comes in only one color, but it's recolorable, so go wild with it <3

Hello everyone!!! I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas today!!!

Today I'm here to tell you that my lovely friend @Yrandsims and I made a small collab to celebrate Christmas this year and here you have my part on it.

The collaboration consisted of a little advent calendar, where 24 simmers + 1 had to do something that came out of their creativity with a prompt chosen at random. That +1 is the daughter of Yrandsims that has made all the lovely drawings that were representing the objects choosen each day. She is going to end the collab tomorrow with a special ilustration on Yrandsims' twitter (here).

My turn was today, 24th, and it was "Christmas Elves" so I bring a funny posepack for little Christmas elves, or maybe, some naughty kids, plus a few more for a good boy doing their letter to Santa with help of her mother (or father).

You really liked my Linen Plaid collection (I suspect that the especially pretty preview picture helped), and the Advent calendar made it thrice into the top 10 - I call that a glowing success ☺️ I was positively surprised how many of you liked the Plumbbobs pattern I made to celebrate the launch of the simblr.cc site! Interestingly, 2 text posts also made it, one was a post talking about why you should give simblr.cc a try and the second was my TED talk on CASt and why we should not lose sight of this key feature in TS3 when making content for it. I’ve since seen converters stepping up their game and making some awesome recolorable conversions, yay! Even a non-sims post (screenshots from the game Firewatch) made it into the top 10 list. I’m excited to see what next year will bring. My plans include making/finishing some clothing CC and publishing some new tutorials on making CC.

It is time for a special announcement: I will host another advent calendar this year! I know that advent calendars are to count down to Christmas, but due to some trouble with my account at the beginning of the month we are starting a little bit later. For this year I have retextures of 24 hairs that I will share from December 8th until December 31st. So a count down to the end of the year, which is also a special occasion to celebrate!

I really enjoyed my advent calendars in 2012 and 2013 and I hope you did as well! When I selected the hairs for 2013 I had too many hairs that I liked so I already made a list of hairs for a next advent calendar in 2014, but I never found the time to make one. That list resurfaced this summer and I had such happy feelings for the previous advent calendars that I decided to make a new one. I did change some of the hairs that I originally selected so that there are more options for men this year. These are all older meshes by Newsea and I am aware that most of them have been retextured before. I still hope you will find some hairs that you have not seen before or some retextures that you like for your game? Or maybe you are new to the Sims 2 and have not seen these hairs before? Or maybe you have forgotten about those meshes and you use them again after seeing them in this advent calendar? Anyway, I hope you will all have a wonderfull December! Happy simming!
